Ambience: The restaurant itself is in dire need of renovation, with its rundown appearance reflecting the area's overall downturn. Service: The staff, dressed in street clothes, display a lack of engagement and professionalism. While there are occasional moments of friendliness, overall, the service lacks enthusiasm and training. Food: The menu disappoints, relying heavily on frozen and microwaved items. The food, including uncooked, soggy enchiladas and bland chili con carne, lacks freshness and flavor. Even the nachos are just store-bought and uninspired. Drinks: The bar fails to impress, with poorly made cocktails like a Margarita with a clumsily applied salt rim and a strangely concocted Bloody Mary garnished with an orange. Overall: La Mex Lounge presents a picture of neglect and apathy. With potential for easy improvements, it's a pity that there seems to be little motivation and care to enhance the experience.

Lovely Meals, we had the Fajita with chicken breast strips, sirloin steak, peppers and onions for mum And Grilled lamb skewer served with Mexican rice, mint sauce and salad. it was a take away order and the portions are quite good. It was too good that I forgot to take a Picture. And then the next day went back to Dine in and had the Shrimps Fajita yum 🤤

Die Atmosphäre ist richtig schön. Das Essen ist exzellent. Einen Punkt Abzug weil die Getränke erst nach dem Essen kamen und ein Essen erst später kam und weil auf dem Vorspeisenteller Zwiebelringe standen und am Ende Calamaresringe auf dem Teller waren. Der Nachtisch Brownie mit flüssigem Kern, Vanilleeis und Sahne war auch sehr lecker. Wir kommen bestimmt und gerne wieder!

Super disappointing nacho chips. They were dry and the salsa was thin. Cocktails were overly sweet, but still a good deal during happy hour. Service was also pretty lackluster. Great location for some fun people watching though.

Klein aber oho, nettes eher für Cocktails mit Snack geeignetes Restaurant mit mega freundlichem Personal, die sogar für eine vergessene Jacke den Gästen hinterher laufen. Würde es weiterempfehlen, schon alleine weil die Karte keine Wünsche offen lässt.

Das Essen war lecker und der Service ist gut ! Einziger Mangel, ich finde die Preise etwas überdimensioniert ! Für ein Burritos gefüllt mit Mais, Bohnen, Paprika, Rinderhüft Streifen, kleinen Salat und Reis dazu, kostet 19,90 € . Das ist schon saftig ! Ansonsten kann ich das Lokal empfehlen.

Chaotic and non-customer focused employee(s). Flat and insufficiently cold soda. Questionable burrito; lacking any wow. Passable quantity. Very loud music originating from a single speaker that's trying really hard. Loud street with many marginals roaming around. The men that were loading and unloading some beer kegs and bottles looked unappetizing and didn't mind repeatedly clearing their throats onto the terrace. Normally I don't bother leaving reviews, but this was so consistently bad that I don't think it was purely a matter of bad luck.

Dissapointing, we were eating there and a friend found a staple on his burrito. You might think we didn't have to pay for it, but that's not the case, the waitress told us they were doing a 5 dollar discount on the price because he had already eat 1/4 of it. Not only this, they brought fries with every dish and make us pay for it too!! (since they weren't included in the price), when I complained about it the response I get is that the kitchen always put fries as a side and if we didn't wanted we should have told her. The food didn't even taste good, probably they been scamming people and taking advantage of tourist for a long time now

Very Racist lounge. visiting from America to have drinks with my friends. We were turned down and would not be offered a seat. he told us they were fully booked even though the lounge was empty at 9:45 pm on a Thursday evening with no reserved signs anywhere. We went back around 11:45pm and it was still empty. SMH. Never felt discriminated against.

Extremely Racist….. I visited with friends today and the waiter said they are fully booked at 21:00uhr. However the whole lounge inside was free and also very few people outside with free sits and no reserved sign. We went back at an hour later and the place was still free and not fully booked. So they only did not have space because of our skin color. This is really a terrible experience

Customer service was Great, we had the Mex refried beans, they had good flavor, they definitely were not the refined bean that I know, I had a ginger lemonade that was delicious, for dinner my husband and I shared the fajitas, they were also different from the traditional fajitas I know and grill myself, they were mediocre.

I came here to eat while waiting for my flight. The food was amazing, you can compare the quesadillas to the ones we eat in Texas. the food was prepared and presented very well. I also had a cocktail and told the waiter to whip me up something good and he did just that. only thing that I can say negative is that I wish they had some music playing but not having music didn't bother me that much either. The barkeeper (Amir) was very friendly and very helpful and was able to answer all my questions so I definitely recommend this spot.

The cocktails are good. I like the fajita's burgers, and steaks. The burritos are ok, but nothing special. Yesterday i tried the tacos for the first time but I wasn't very convinced of the taste. The taco bread also broke together fast so it was impossible to hold it by hand. What makes the place exceptionally nice is the good service and nice music that always plays

Maybe a bit too little spicy for Mexican cuisine, but good quality and well cooked dishes definitely. Meat (combo of chicken and beef) was soft and moist, shrimps (perhaps not a staple of Mexican food) were fresh and tasty. Drinks menu long, so everyone could find something for the taste. Service fast and friendly. Verdict: good safe choice for a Mexican food, although do not expect spice explosion.

Very good mexican food although the dishes are not very big for an adult. I would give 4 stars if I wasn't obliged to pay 5 € as a tip. I understand that the tip wasn't included but I have never seen before the staff to set the tip for the client. It was really rude and the service wasn't so good. What a pity!

The food was medium quality, like a mix between mexican and pakistani/indian flavours for a price that in my opinion was too much. But what made me so angry was that they didn’t have Leitungswasser, the free tap water that’s supposed to be free and in every restaurant; and the end they gave me the wrong change and they didn’t even make the receipt. Really dishonest people.

It took a little while for our food, but everything was delicious. This is kinda far from Mexican food, so if you're traveling don't expect real Mexican, but it's still really good and the drinks are nice and strong.

The staff was very nice, but I never got the guacamole I ordered. My nachos were pretty good, nothing special. The Apfelwein was delicious - a must try! We got to sit outside, which was nice on a pleasant evening. It was a good place to just sit and people watch. Overall, it was a good experience.
