Great theatre! Just watched SOMETHING ROTTEN with the entire family today and the play was a lot of fun for everyone and with a very talented cast. We will absolutely return to watch the next play. A must do in Frankfurt!

I’ve seen all of the last plays and it was always amazing! The actors were super talented and because of its smaller size you feel directly involved into the play. It’s a must for all people who love the theater or just want to have a good evening with friends.

What a treat to randomly stumble upon the English Theatre after our meal. We saw the Vanishing Room. It was a total joy to have actors right in front of us. They did an exceptional job.

I watched a performance of Sweeny Todd. Outstanding performances from the whole cast and crew. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole show. The theatre itself is easily located and spotted from the street. The interior layout goes to the basement of the building with a bar on each of the two subfloor level to accommodate the balcony and general audiences. A dedicated coat check line leaving the theatre would have eased some confusion from the guests wondering why the line wasn't moving up the stairs. Otherwise the theatre was excellent and I would love to return for another show.

Really lovely location and great performances. They also have a good selection of snacks and drinks and the staff is friendly.

Lovely theatre. Interesting program. I saw The Secret Life of Human which was unexpectedly excellent and very powerful.

Sehr schönes Theater. Gute Auswahl an Stücken. Tolle Bar mit einer guten Gin Auswahl. Nice theatre with regularly changing good and interesting plays. Especially the musicals are my favorites. The cast changes with the plays and were always really good. The bar is nice and has a good selection of gin and an ever changing cocktail list aligned to the plays. It's a must visit if you are in town.

Not very big, but rather charming and interesting theatre. The person doing the selection knows his job. The pieces played here are top notch. You won't make a mistake coming here at least once a month. Highly recommended!

Very intense show which will make you think about problems in society.

We went there on a sunday to see Young Frankenstein and it was absolutely amazing! I can highly recommend. The Staff was friendly and answering all our question. The play was so funny and entertaining and we also enjoyed our glass of wine in the break.

We've just seen Now and Then. WOW! The script was really good with lots of twists, many funny moments and several poignant ones as well. The acting was wonderful. This theatre is a gem, and Frankfurt is lucky to have such jewel right in the heart of the city. I hope it gets to stay. Go early, have a drink and snack in the bar and pre order another for intermission. You'll be glad you did

Saw "Kindertransport" play at this theater. I was absolutely impressed by what is archived at this small venue and the very reasonable price of the tickets. The show was amazing - great actors, awesome props and a very special experience.

A still somewhat „hidden“ gem in Frankfurt. Don’t even bother too much what is being played - every single performance during last years was a pleasure to enjoy in its own right

We went to see the performance of "Sister Act" at the English Theater. The actors and the production were just great! We had more fun than we have had in a long time. We were just thrilled! It's a shame that the theater still has to fight for survival like this. In any case, we will gladly come again!

I always enjoy coming here. Although it's a smaller stage, the program, actors, set designs and lighting are better than on most larger stages. Given the quality provided it's also quite a bargain for the charged prices

Great theatre though the choice of productions in the last few years has been hit and miss in my humble opinion. Sister Act like which is on currently is great, despite an uninspiring set. Less good is the bar management - chaotic /disorganised- queue for interval drinks blocking way for people wanting to get to bar (and toilet). Would be easy to solve and make the pre-show experience less stressful (and more profitable for the theatre).

Wow! Recently moved to Frankfurt and couldn't wait to check out the English Theatre, but unfortunately COVID made it a bit more challenging. That being said, we just got home from seeing Young Frankenstein. I was blown away! The talent, music, sets - all so well done. It was perfectly cast. I'll be a season ticket holder next year, for sure!

I was a little skeptical at first, because I don't really enjoy theater's, but this one I really liked. The staff is super nice. The actor's are all very good at playing! The theatre itself is very cozy and welcoming, once you're inside. I can only say good things about this theatre! Really enjoyed the play as well! The atmosphere is insane! The actors and actresses do more than just a great job, they create an atmosphere in which it is really hard not to sing along and stand up to clap! 100% recommend!

Loved it. Watched the Sister Act last saturday and was a great experience. Would go back every weekend if I could.

Something rotten is a fantastic amazing funny show , the cast are the finest you could wish to watch, very entertaining, costumes are brilliant, a hard working team have definitely put their heart and soul into the whole production so congratulations to all , a must see musical like no other, eggcellently a 5 Star production 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
