👍👍 This restaurant is a real gem. From outside it does not look particularly inviting, but once you are inside you seem to enter a different world. It is a surprisingly spacious place. The beer garten is beautiful with with grapevines hanging above the tables. The food is delicious, the staff is friend... People often mention beer, good, great,

Just perfect. Beautiful beer garden, lots of plants and trees. The salad was very delicious and very fresh. The staff was very friendly and very fast! Payment is possible either with cash or card. Free parking directly outside. The local beer is very tasty!!!

nice old style location with an excellent beergarden. the food and drinks were good and the housebrew had a distinct taste. parking, however, is a big problem in the vicinity

A feeling of tradition and pride permeates this place. Balkan dishes that combine a solid meat base and airy salad and sauce on top feel very original. Do order their home made draft beer (light or dark). The inside seating is a bit medieval-dungeon dark, so everyone sits in the garden. Great for family time and for trying a different cuisine. No English menu, so order with the translator on your phone and some hand gestures, waiters are quite nice.

The food, the atmosphere, the place is great. The disappointing thing is that they only and exclusively accept German debit cards, but this is only and exclusively announced at the time of payment.

This place has it all! Amazing food, beautiful location, very polite servers, great desserts, great 🍺 and quick service. Portions are very big and it is cheap. I give this place 10/10.

I honestly didn’t like this restaurent at all the service wasn’t good and when we asked them to cancel our order because we don’t eat Turkey or Porc they wouldn’t let us so it’s like wasting money. We ordered the cordon bleue and it wasn’t good at all, it didn’t have any taste, and the rice tasted like water. The waiter spoke a little bit of English and he said that there was chicken in the cordon bleue so we ordered it. Then he went to the kitchen and gave our order to the chef and came back to us telling us that there was no chicken so he ordered us Turkey instead, we asked to cancel and they did not agree. I would not recommend this resta

I brought my girlfriend to the Adler in 1974-1975. We had a wonderful time. I still have great memories of the food and the fact that we (both Frankfurt American High School students) we're treated so well. Glad to know that the restaurant still goes on!

I had Balkan platte and it was great. Plate was fully occupied by meat and fries. Service was nice, beer was good. I can recommend this place for sure.

Great balkan cuisine, portion size is perfect for me. You can choose between casual seating and more restaurant-like one. Their own beer is good and different from usual german beer, I liked it. Staff is friendly and quick even at full capacity. Prices are reasonable. Overall very good experience. Will recomend and will return here myself.

The location and the beer garden is really nice in the summer, however, we were not really happy with the service as they were a bit rude when my kid started running around through the beer garden. The food is mediocre and there is just too much meat on the menu. Overall, I think the place is a bit overrated.

Zum Adler is (WAS!) a great and nostalgic place to eat in Frankfurt, you can find eastern european and typical german food there + very good beer! Edit: WARNING! The prices of the menu on their web site are wrong, they have massively put them up and told me weird stories, when i told them that they should correct that when i picked up my take-away order! The quality of the food has gone down aswell! Smaller portions, lower quality of meat... this is how to make money in a crisis situation.

The food was good, but they used too much garlic for my tastes. It was hard finding parking, so arrive well before your reservation time to ensure that you get a spot. Personally, I won't go there again because it's too far from me. If you are in the area, it's worth a visit.
