It is beautifully secluded and yet you can easily reach it on foot, by bike, by car or even by public transport and relax with a book on one of the benches set up all around, or a picnic that you have brought with you (please note that there are trash cans on site, or at the nearby parking lot, or at the tram stop) to unwind, or in spring and summer just enjoy the surroundings, the scents and the sun. This pond also has an interesting past that can be read on an information board on site.

Unfortunately, the benches, walls and everything seem a bit run down. There are not that many visitors there, even though the Tyrolean pond is on the GrünGürtel circular hiking trail That's why green belt animals can be found there. They are works of comic art and are located in two different places on the pond. Two Green Belt animal shooters stand on the left and right of a staircase that leads up to the Tyrolean pond. The third strange work of art is the Jupiter Column with another green belt animal sitting high on the sandstone pillar.
