This hotel lies on the 4 star level: -The photos and services offered on the website are false. -There is no swimming pool. -There is no fitness center. -There is no restaurant. - there is no breakfast. -The colors are damaged and dirty. -Rooms facing the street are very noisy. -The rooms are very damaged. It's absolutely not a 4 * .. maybe 2 * .. at best! We were attracted by this hotal because of the wen site which is misleading.

This hotel is definitely not worth the four stars. The close proximity to Hbf would make up for the lack of air conditioning, dirty carpets and cigarette burns on the bedsheets, but definitely doesn’t for the poor service. The promised breakfast is apparently no longer available and the only option is for a fee at the hotel next door, while the pool can also only be used at an extra cost. Would also definitely not recommend walking around the area at night, since there is a lot of drunk people. It also gets quite loud at night so earplugs are a must.

Room was small, but for that price at a really convenient location, you can't expect giant rooms. Everything was clean but seemed a bit outdated. All in all it was fine. If you know a month or more in advance, that you'll need to stay a night in Frankfurt near the central train station, I can definitely recommend this hotel. Service seemed friendly, but I wasn't in need of anything and did my booking online, so I can't say much about that.

Well, location of this hotel is very convenient as it’s straight out of central station; however, there’s loads of junkies right outside on the way to the hotel. (I understand this is out of the hotel’s hand) but still… it was very dodgy! The room was clean and quite large, all works except for the bathroom which has no door lol. I mean this is also not a ME problem but after every shower, the whole floor would be wet. Staff was nice and welcoming, and kindly accepted to keep my luggage for few hours after check out.

Stayed here over Christmas world expro. Hotel was 3 times cheaper than most when booked. Found it great location. Quiet, and inside rooms where good. Clean. Same as most hotels in frankfurt in this league. But for the price was well worth it. Service was good. And front desk very helpful. Easy check in and check out. 2 day stay.

I stayed here for five nights booked via my employer travel agent for an exhibition we had at Messe. It’s is dreadful! The room is outdated, very worn out and had no air con, only a ceiling fan. This was in 33 degree heat and were only offered a fan tower that helped somewhat. There was mound around windows and on the ceiling of the bathroom. The room also didn’t have a peep hole or chain to give additional security to the door (it does lock tho) and if anyone had knocked it would’ve been tricky to see how was there. The hall and common areas were much the same, very dilapidated and worn. The room and hotel had a smell of rotten eggs hanging around it as well. Despite breakfast being advertised it is not served, the restaurant is closed and the bar area is empty. The staff were surly and not very helpful. The area is next to the main train station however the subway is undergoing maintenance with lots boarded up in the street. It also did not feel safe, it’s very busy, and unfortunately lots of homeless people on the area which is very hard to see. There was also a riot one of the nights I stayed with a large police presence and helicopter. In short it doesn’t deserve the stars it has, all the hotel pics are out of date as is the description - avoid!

I was lucky enough to have a quiet room with a window on a backyard. Bed and bathroom were clean. Location is great, very close to Hbf station (of course there is a LOT of junkies outside, but the hotel has not any influence on it). This is however not enough for a 4 star hotel…old furniture and no breakfast made a stay not so pleasant. I would suggest removing that it is 4 star hotel, otherwise this is misleading.

We booked for 4 people. The room is very small. We can barely leave 1 of our suitcase open on the floor. The bathroom is mouldy. The power point in the bathroom didn’t even work. The toilet is disgusting. Whatever picture you see on their website isn’t really what you see. The price doesn’t match the cleanliness of the room. I will not recommend this hotel. It’s a total waste of money.

Was fine... Elevators worked🤪 staff was nice and helpful... Maybe a little noisy late night because of location but to be expected... Ceiling fan didn't work, room was very hot, front desk employee supplied a great fan quickly that was appreciated immensely

"We managed to snag this hotel at an unbelievable price of just 37 Euro through Agoda! It's such a steal considering that hotel prices in Europe these days are usually above 70 Euro. And the cherry on top is that it's conveniently located close to the main station. "

Handle fell of window as was broke . Really noisy outside. Rooms mediocre, semi clean. Staff where lovely especially cleaner when I woke up late. Carpets where manky. Beds uncomfortable due to springs in my back. I'd go back for location to commute however 100 crack heads on every corner.

Very old rooms. Bathroom has a smell, bathtub is peeling and has rusty frame. Bed and pillows uncomfortable, 1 light not working, bathroom sink stopper stuck. The only gd thing is location. Too bad we didn't know it's the Frankfurt book fair these days while we're here, so hotel room prices are crazy. Paid 3x the usual price! Faint... if it were a decent room that's fine, but it's way below average.

Room is basic and felt cold at night. Requested for additional heater. Bed is not comfortable. Location is good. Walking distance from the central station. Price is less so can't expect much on this price.

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. The advanced deterioration of the building, cracked walls, rusty radiators, and obvious technical issues left a negative impression. The reception area is just as worn out as the room itself, with worn-out furniture and a neglected appearance. The room we stayed in was small and cramped, and the lack of attention to cleanliness was evident. The only positive aspect was the friendly reception staff who facilitated the check-in process. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this hotel in its current state and hope that it will be renovated soon.

Used to be a good hotel, but they just don’t seem to care anymore. The pool, the main selling point, has gotten expensive and closes so early it’s not useful for business customers. They got rid of breakfast. The rates have come so far down that other guests do not value the place. Yesterday I reported that some neighbors were smoking on a non smoking floor, but because I couldn’t say which neighbor it was, they didn’t bother to check. I guess they expect me to knock on the neighbors‘ doors to enforce their rules. They just don’t care.

Location was great. We were in walking distance of public transportation. There is not breakfast in the morning, however there are great options within walking distance. The room was clean. The showers were too hot but good to clean up after a day of travel.

Rooms are very old and tingy. The ceiling of our room was worn of, paint was out. There was no AC or fan in the room as well. Bathroom is small. Hotel is situation right next to the station. The crowd around the station towards the hotel is not really good.

The staff is very kindness and helpful, the bathroom is awesome, hot shower and hairdryer, looks like they are renewing the carpet and my room had a new carpet and my friend hadn’t, but overall is nice spot close to train station, market and bus terminal.

Really not a good hotel. The only advantage in my case was the silence (no noise in my part of the hotel), but ist was dirty and really old. The mattrass was worn out. Friendly staff.

The location is great, two mins from the train station. The rooms are quite cheap, but this also means cheap interior and material. The Walls are paper thin and you can hear almost anything outside the room. The beds are clean but the furniture is so old.

Rooms are too small. Furnitures are old. There is not enough towel in bathroom. There is nothing you can watch on Tv without German. There is no cattle in the room. There is no breakfast service.

Great calm place. Room per night 47€ + breakfast around 9€. You can leave your baggage for free in the safe room.

The staff was friendly. The room was decent. But the AC would randomly stop working and we couldn’t get it back on. Also, I forgot a pair of pants there, and they wanted to charge 20€ to ship them to Berlin, which seems very excessive considering it costs 6€ to post them. The location is good in the sense of being extremely close to Hbf, so it’s easy to get there. But the area around Hbf in general is just unpleasant and felt unsafe. I saw a lot of drugs and groups of men hanging around in the street. I didn’t feel comfortable there, whether in the daytime or nighttime. Of course not the hotel’s fault, but I wouldn’t stay there again just because of the neighborhood.

It needs a bit of work, but it is central, and it has a free mini bar that they stock up every day . The pool you have to pay 4 € every day.

This Hotel is advertising with its Pool in the 8th Floor. But that’s costs 9 per Day. More than a regular, which costs 5€. And I think this hotel needs a refurbishment.

Very low ceilings. Any guy would feel pressured in the bathroom. The minibar fridge seemed to be not well-functioning, as foods were not cold enough when stored inside. The cleaning maid was rude. She never knocked before entering the room for cleaning. I placed a DND placard out there. Just as I thought cleaning time was over because it was past 3 pm, I took it back in. She then came out of nowhere and broke immediately into my room without knocking. The size was ok for a single occupant though. And yeah, carpet was dirty. Carpet should only exist in five-star hotels.

La limpieza de las habitaciones es excelente y el personal de recepción también es bastante agradable. La ubicación es perfectamente céntrica, no nos costó nada encontrar aparcamiento y no se escuchaba ningún molesto ruido por las noches.

The SAVOY in Frankfurt is a blasphemy to the SAVOY brand. I am certain that in 1985 the place earned its 4-star status, however the SAVOY Frankfurt is a fallen angel. Do not be fooled by the beautiful pictures of swimming pools and buffets, the hotel offers no extras, the lounge area uninspiring, however the true sadness becomes visible when entering the lift, the flooring split and broken, loose tiling on the floors in front of the lift. The room smelt of cigarettes, and the white net curtains had a beige tint. The carpet was worn, the sanitary installations in the bathroom are old and cruddy, the toilet emitting a sewage odour and the shower an EUR 3,99 shower head from a local DIY centre. Adding to the unsavoury area around the hotel (which I am aware of as I frequently travel to Frankfurt), there are better hotels located only a door away. Although the price is not high, compared to the likes of Niu, Moxy or Motel One chains, the SAVOY comes across poorly and falls into the 2 star category. Shame as the place has a lot of potential.

I stayed in there for a week with my family. The keys to our rooms never worked properly. The catering staff were impatient and quite rude. Would not stay there again.

We stayed here during the exhibition. The rooms are a bit dated, yet cozy..... The drinks in the fridge are complimentary..... ac is good, bathroom is small but clean and has 24 hr hot water. Location wise it's well connected... however it's in a shady neighborhood and night walks are not recommended... it doesn't have a restaurant but there are plenty of good eateries around it...... service could have been a bit better..... overall it's quite decent in this price range and it's proximity to the Exhibition Center

I do not recommend this hotel. Breakfast was not a buffet, barely a handful of items available and advertised price is 10 euros each, at checkout they charged us 15 euros each! They did not clean room each day and 2 days before checkout the heat quit working. The only good quality is the location and free beverages in mini fridge.

The staff is very friendly but the hotel feels abandoned and needs a ton of renovation - the tiles everywhere, bathroom floors, ceiling and so on. Besides that it is a good stay if you just need a bed to sleep, and it is close to the main station. However, be mindful of other guests in the hotel. On the night from December 29th to December 30th a group of men were staying next to our room. They came back at 1am and stayed up till 4am speaking and laughing loudly, and sometimes screaming. It was clear that they were drinking. When called receptionist to check on them, the person on the phone just said “yes okay”. We called again in around 30min and the person on the phone promised to go to their room. But we never heard anyone coming and giving them a warning. We are just two girls in mid20s and the last thing we wanted is to knock on the door of group of drinking men. So reception was not helpful at all that night. Next morning the men in that room started to smoke weed. It was very clear. We could smell it in our room. So we decided to change the rooms. We were able to do so but the room was much much smaller. This was a huge downside since we paid for different kind of room but because of other guests we had to switch. The woman on the reception helped us to change rooms but she did not even acknowledge that people in the other room were being loud and smoking. So not sure what is going on there. Anyways, if you need a short inexpensive stay, this hotel works. But be careful of other guests and don’t expect reception to help.

The hotel leaves a lot to be desired (pool was closed and costs 4,50, broken appliances, broken tiles) but you're not going to find any place where you can have a private room right next to the station for this price. Also, the staff is amazing and really did their best to make my stay comfortable. (The girl with the nose piercing especially!)

  • 2/5 Christina F. 2 years ago on Google
The room was clean and for a stay over, it was ok. Though, the entire hotel felt abandoned somehow. The receptionist was on her way out when we arrived and gave us the keys quick without looking at us. The shower did not work, only the bathtub tap. It was dark around the reception area. My 10 year old girl said: they have given up trying to make money on this place. There were people hanging around the hotel just standing there, smoking, or sitting at the ground. I felt no fear, but it did surely not feeling welcoming.

I would say considering the price, the hotel was ok for me. But definitely not worth 4 stars. Bathroom door doesn’t close, painting on the well was ripped off and you can hear someone using hair dryer from different room - how come it’s 4 stars? Very dangerous neighborhood from sunset

  • 1/5 Ishan G. 1 year ago on Google
Probably the dirtiest, most disgusting hotel one can find in Frankfurt. The staff was rude as hell. There was no air conditioning and on top of that, one can’t switch on the fan in the room. The bathroom was completely brown and was dirty. The only good thing about it was it’s location but there are many hotels around. Just not worth the time and money unless you want a frustrating stay.

Everything about this hotel is bad

  • 5/5 Manasi S. 1 year ago on Google
We had booked a regular room for two days. Initially when we reached at 5am, we were given an early check in room with a fee to a corner room on the eight floor stating it was an upgrade. But when we saw the room it had two seperate single beds in two separate rooms. So we moved into the normal room as per our booking, at the Check-in time. The girl at the reception did grumble a bit about change in room and getting the room made up again, but we stated firmly we were given no choice at the time of early check-in. The hotel is very strategically located, right opposite the Centraal station. It's just a twenty minute walk to the market place & nearby tourist attractions. Lot of world cuisine restaurants in the vicinity & so is the red light area. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was spin & span and the coffee vending machine at the reception is a huge blessing!
