Incredible and impressive! The entire world of harmonicas and hand harmonicas professionally and interestingly prepared and presented. Highly recommended! Over 25,000 exhibits with diverse facets, styles and designs perfectly tailored to target groups allow the viewer to marvel at this global cosmos of small, joyful reeds. On 850 square meters, not only the music comes to life, but also the craftsmanship, assertiveness and inventiveness of the manufacturers, who brought regional prosperity and wages to many workers. Allow plenty of time, especially for the many interactive experience stations suitable for young and old. The museum is barrier-free accessible via an elevator on the side of the building (please report to the cash desk). Disabled-accessible toilet available.

Today I spent almost two hours in this wonderful museum. Not only the history of the Hohner company, but also that of other producers is described and documented in detail. Informative texts and an incredible wealth of visual material inspire! Very well done. The expert additions from the friendly staff, who put their heart and soul into it, are also pleasing and pleasant. Keep it up! The trip from the far north was worth it.

This is the ultimate "must to see" place to all harmonica and accordion lovers. History of the instruments, historical instruments, history of the hohner factory. How it made, how it works. Famous musicans. Dedicated and unique pieces. Music styles. Everything about harmonica and accordion. Not easy to find. Follow the signs. You can park on the street. Small shop with books and some harmonicas (including a unique harmonica just for the museum)

(Translated by Google) Visited on the day of the open monument with free entry, very competent volunteers reported and demonstrated many interesting things about harmonica and accordion production as well as the development of electronic musical instruments. Special thanks to the gentleman who plays the ukule and two harmonicas, who created the right atmosphere in the museum.

This is a museum for the harmonica or accordion officianado. In other words not for everyone. But I am a big fan of Hohner harmonicas, , so it was right up my alley. My wife? Not so much, but she still enjoyed it. A super display in my opinion, with tons of information in German and English. Hohner definitely made their mark on the music world.
