This is the main center of Somanya where the Dodowa-Kpong stretch meet the Somanya- Akuse stretch. It is home to varieties of street foods. You can easily get a Car from and to Accra and Koforidua.You can also get a car to other surrounding towns. .

Somanya market is one of the neatest markets I have come across. Surprised to a shed dedicated to only kenkey and fish.

Somanya roundabout is not easily identified as a roundabout by visitors because of its deploring state. No working traffic lights and street lighting systems. Also, long trucks and busses face challenges negotiating the curves smoothly due to the small size of the roundabout. There is an urgent need for its expansion and repair to its traffic control systems for a better and more safe communication.

The place in four years time will be nicer than it is now. But things are very expressive.

There a lot of traffic buildup because big cars were trying to gain entry in Akuse road

Hmm..... the place is calm and peaceful.... its one of the busiest places in Eastern region

Very busy, bad road and needs a form of control with traffic light or a real roundabout.

A very important intersection in the Eastern Region of Ghana with a little go slow at peak hours when there are lots of vehicles using that route.
