This is the home arena of the Saitama Broncos of the B League, and I went to watch their match against the Kanazawa Samurai Team. It's a 20-25 minute walk from Urawa Station or Kita-Urawa Station, but it's a gentle uphill slope, so we recommend going by bus, but there's no problem walking back. The gymnasium is old and doesn't look great, but the restrooms are clean and it's easy to watch the game from the seats. To be honest, I don't want to praise the gymnasium because it's so old and the facilities aren't good, but I was able to watch the game comfortably. Tokorozawa is talking about the Saitama Broncos, but when I went to see the team last time, the management wasn't at a professional level, but they had grown quite a bit, with a comical DJ (that's a compliment), a revived wild girl cheer squad, and a wide range of merchandise. It was a lot of fun to watch.

Every week, we hold a "Basketball Class" for junior high school students from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesdays. Beginners🔰 and those who just walk in on the day can participate. (Please pay 500 yen as participation fee and insurance fee at the gymnasium reception on the day) In addition, participants must provide their own shoes, bags, balls, towels, drinks, etc. Saitama Unit1 Basketball Club is also participating.

There are no rental slippers at this gym, so be sure to bring your own indoor shoes (slippers, sandals, sneakers). Change your shoes at the shoe rack at the entrance. I visited for the first time during the playoff semi-final game between Saitama Broncos and Vertex Shizuoka in the B3 basketball league. Looking at the facility's website, it says it's a 25-minute bus or walk from Kita-Urawa or Urawa, but since there are only one or two buses per hour, it's not very practical to use it for the return trip. The walking route is easy to follow, and if you exit from Kita-Urawa Station's east exit onto Motomachi Street, it's straight ahead. Turn right at the end and walk for 2-3 minutes. The distance was about 1.6 km, and it took 15 to 20 minutes. The parking lot is fairly large for the number of people it can accommodate, so most people seemed to be using their cars, but once it's full, there aren't many parking lots nearby, so I recommend walking if you don't mind walking. There are two entrances, one on the first floor and one on the second floor, and there are shoe racks on both. The stairs inside the building are not very wide, so if you are watching a game, it is easier to use the second floor entrance if you are seated on the second floor, or the first floor entrance if you are seated on the first floor. On the first floor, there are two toilets, vending machines, and benches, and you can eat and drink inside the building. There was only one vending machine, so I recommend purchasing food and drinks at the 7-Eleven on Motomachi Street along the way. The inside of the building was clean and the toilets were also clean. There was a line for the toilet, but I was able to get there within half time, so it wasn't a problem. Since it was a match, there were food carts selling curry and Neapolitan food. The curry was delicious😌💓

I came here for the first time to watch a basketball game. It was a very good facility. 【It was good point】 -The toilets are well-maintained and clean considering the facility. -Large nursing space with small books and toys -Not a large parking lot, but easy to park [Points that caught my attention] -It is far from the station, so you need to travel by bus or taxi

It must have been decades ago. It is an old gymnasium called Urawa Citizen Gymnasium. It is now equipped with air conditioning.

Although the building is old overall, it is fully air conditioned, so you can spend a comfortable time inside even in the summer. There are also many lounges and benches where you can take a break. When events occur on weekends, it is rare for the parking lot to be fully booked.

I enjoyed playing basketball in a place where the Basketball B League is also held.

It was a fairly old building, but it was popular with the T-League.

I use the training gym. I am very satisfied with the facilities, machines, and low usage fees.

The training gym is quite old and small. Also, it seems that some of the machines have been renewed and have improved, but the number is basically quite small. It is also rare that there are plenty of free weights instead. This is not a gym for beginners. I also felt very disappointed and sad that the staff's instructions were completely different depending on the person, and that some of the staff members were especially rude. It may be unavoidable because it is easy, but if it is a public facility run by the city and is operated with tax money, please do your work for the citizens. I'm sorry, but I wish you would learn a little more about hospitality etiquette.

🫤 The training room can be used at a low price, but you cannot use it unless you take a class on a set date and time. Is it necessary to hold classes at public gymnasiums that do not handle heavy weights? It would be ideal if registration cards were abolished and people could participate. excess.
