One their dog friendly and I have two dogs I felt safe it's a gated property with a 24-hour guard The restaurant is excellent The staff was very accommodating The rooms are simple but comfortable

We arrived with our 5th wheel. Camping with services is also available inside the hotel grounds. Although we opted for a hotel room we took our unit into the back area. We just cleared the entry roof. We discovered there is an RV entry gate a little further down the road. We would have been more comfortable with that option. The room itself was very spacious with a sitting area and a large bathroom. It was clean and quiet. The pool was too cool for me the beginning of April but the lounge area was nice. There was also lots of green space and a playground for kids. We had dinner in the restaurant. The service was excellent. We were traveling north and access was easy off the main highway.

Best dinner we've had since leaving Ontario heading to Merida area. Restaurant is very highly recommended!! Food was fresh and delicious and excellent service. The room was basic but felt secure as you park you car in a car port beside the room. Have 2 small dogs and there was lots of grass behind the room for them

Always like the restaurant on site but the room this time was filthy. I ask the front desk if we must live like pigs just because we travel with a pet. She said yes. I requested a different room, she refused. The walls were absolutely gross along with the chairs and mattresses. I put my own sheets on the bed over their thin sheet that wasn’t big enough to tuck under the top mattress. I just cannot stay here from anymore unless they step up the cleaning and updating of the pet friendly rooms.

Large, clean rooms, well maintained property, good restaurant, friendly helpful staff. My second stay here. A great option traveling to or from US border crossing at Laredo.

We love Las Palmas Midway Inn and highly recommended it. It has a 1950s motel design, so that you can park your vehicle in a carport right outside your hotel room, or some rooms don't have the carport but your vehicle is parked right outside your door. The restaurant is a welcome respite after a long day of traveling. I recommend the local dishes. We love the setting and the service, always a good experience. The rooms themselves are very basic - clean but could use updating - however the best part is they are very reasonably priced, quiet, safe and pet friendly (it's difficult to find pet friendly hotels in Mexico). We use this hotel every time we drive to/from the US and Central Mexico. Highly recommend it - we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Very nice hotel. It's not real fancy, but it makes up for that in cleanliness, comfort and affordability. The staff are very helpful and checking in and out is a breeze. The room service is a welcome addition after a long day on the road. It's exactly halfway from the border to our home. We stay at Las Palmas every time we travel to the U.S. and back. Thankfully, they are a pet friendly establishment. Obviously we recommend you stay there!

We stopped here for lunch. Had Luis Felipe as our server. He was amazing. He set us up outside so we could have our dogs with us. He suggested the arrachera, which was fantastic. The facility is super clean. I now understand why it is a favorite of traveling expats.

We stopped there on our journey to CDMX from TX. It was a great place to stop and reset after a long drive. The service was A+, we felt very safe, and the food was lovely.

It says camping but it's really a back parking lot. Which was fine but there was traffic driving back and forth. I believe it was younger people cruising in and out then hanging out. Drove the dogs crazy...and kept us up. Bad night sleep .... but survived and left in morning.

Quirky motel that reminds me of 50's family hotel. Extra clean and very good restaurant. Easy to park and unpack as cars drive in.

Friendly and helpful staff. In the restaurant, Lorenzo is the GM and he truly knows service and his breakfast as so good. Hotel is decent and clean and has last minute souvenirs. I always spend the night here before returning to the US.

This hotel room was very comfortable for my family and I. The staff were professional and accommodating . The room was a very basic but comfortable. Our family is very large so we got 3 rooms. The AC units worked great. The shower was really big and the hot water never stopped. Watch out that wet tile was very slippery. The kids had a large garden to run and play in with our “garden view” outside the doors of the hotel room. The mesquite trees were beautiful and lovely to gaze at. They offered mini golf but we didn’t have time to play. The beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay in the hotel again when I travel through.

Well organized and clean facility. The in suite bathrooms could use some hooks to hang clothes and some more shelf space for toiletries. The rooms are very spacious and clean .

This is a very nice hotel. It's clean, and you have your own parking spot right beside your room. I am disappointed that there is no bath tub in the rooms. I love having a bath in the evenings and I usually bring my own cleaners and disposable scrub brushes too. I am definitely not pleased that you do not get wifi in the rooms if you're further away from the main building. I'm in room 182 and I have no wifi. It is also cold outside so I'll have to call down to the reception desk and ask for another blanket because I can't get the heat to work.

Great Staff.,. Nice comforting relaxing place. House keeper definitely always doing Awesome Work in keeping Room’s clean and smelling fresh. Security cameras all around plus security guard watching over the parking lots. There Restaurant is nice choice’s. Breakfast Amazing. Great table service. Fresh fruit and juices not frozen or bottled. We Always return here. Thanks 🙏

I’ve stoped here several times nice and safe and good food rooms vary this time I got one of the new rooms very spacious and clean

An oasis in a busy town. It’s right across the road from Walmart and many restaurants are nearby (better to eat elsewhere) yet it is quiet and peaceful during the day. Unfortunately for those in the RV park, the staff congregate by the washroom/laundry around 8pm - like it’s a social gathering. They speak/yell loudly and there’s no sleeping until they go home around 10pm

Love It! Great service at a great rate, and they take dogs. We always look forward to spending a night here, walking the dogs on the path. It was beautiful this time with wild flowers and cactus. Food and room service are always good and convenient.

Very nice resort. Restaurant on site. Pool is nice but not heated and could use a cleaning. Beds are rock hard. Overall the place is very nice. Secure parking.

Very large room, good bed, plenty of hot water and a patio with a table. Very clean place everywhere you look. The restaurant was top notch. Secure with carport parking.

I love this place. It's got lots of grass for doggy & a great restaurant. Very friendly staff. Only issue 2 out of 3 stays are the rock hard beds. Felt like sleeping on the floor & woke up really hurting. Please, update your mattresses!

This is a great place right as you enter Matehuala. It has a restaurant on site, pool and security. The food is good and service is the best quality it has. the rooms are dated but clean. It could use a complete remodel, but the beds are comfortable and as stated the rooms are clean. You enter and park your care in front of your room. Very conveniently located.
