5 stars. Service amazing. Owner is super friendly. I am a New Yorker that knows good pizza. I was shocked to find this here. Wood fired Pizza next level out of this world good!! Don’t walk.. run to eat here.

Overall a good Italian pizza but I had better. We got the vegetarian pizza and the mushroom pizza. The used raw vegetables like tomatoes and pepper on the pizza and that made it so runny and soft. Other than that everything was good. The mushroom pizza was excellent. I will definitely go back.

I always try to find the best spots to eat by Google ratings when I travel. This place is a hidden gem. Pizza was amazing, tiramisu was amazing, service was amazing. I travel alone for work most times and this guy Nav, who was helping out at his uncle's pizzaria, was awesome to chat with. Learned alot about the history of the owner living in Italy and moving to Kelowna. Anyhow, highly recommended for a great feed and some very nice beer! Thanks, Nav, for the hospitality!

Great pizza, but even better service! We were walking by and peeked our heads in to check the hours. We decided to pass since they were closing in 10 minutes and didn't want to inconvenience them. However, one of the staff members came out and greeted us. They insisted that we come in and try the pizza, assuring us that it's okay. The service and food were awesome! For only $15 dollars we got a Margherita pizza I and it tasted great would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area! 😄

Great prices, great service, great food. Delizia with red sauce is delicious! The gnocco fritto starter is also amazing.

This was such a great night out because not only is the pizza delicious but the warm family run vibe is so welcoming. The atmosphere is very casual and clean and what really hits is the service and the attentiveness. I had the four cheese pizza and it was generously served up with excellent quality cheeses and the crust is soft and just how a freshly made dough should be.

La Vela is a must-try if you’re a pizza lover. 🍕 Located in the heart of downtown, it is a great spot to have an Italian feast with the family, or grab a beer, eat a pizza, and watch sports on the 75” TVs behind the bar. It’s a great family atmosphere as it’s a family-run place. However, the star is the pizza. Traditional wood fire, Neapolitan style with fresh toppings and tangy sauce. Just recently coming back from a month-long trip to Italy, I can safely say this pizza stacks up. The dough has a good texture but is still soft to eat. The tomato sauce has the right balance of tangy and sweet. Don’t miss this spot. We shall return to try other items off of their menu. Highly recommend 🤩👌💯
