Dined
for
the
first
time
at
Bouchons
Bistro
for
our
wedding
anniversary.
French
cuisine
is
a
favourite,
and
per
our
anniversary,
the
dinner
was
a
bit
nostalgic
since
we
dined
at
a
French
restaurant
on
our
honeymoon
years
ago.
The
food
was
good,
no
argument
there,
but
none
of
the
dishes
were
so
good
that
they
stood
above
previous
French
cuisine
meals,
or
similar
dishes
served
at
other
restaurants.
We
started
by
sharing
the
charcuterie
and
cheese
platters
between
4
of
us
dining.
I
also
had
the
foie
gras,
and
another
had
the
onion
soup.
All
very
tasty.
A
couple
of
us
also
had
a
cocktail,
followed
by
a
glass
of
wine.
I
then
had
the
cassoulet,
my
wife
had
the
scallops
&
shrimp,
another
member
of
our
party
had
the
rabbit,
and
the
last
had
the
lamb.
We
then
shared
the
dessert
platter,
although
one
of
us
went
for
her
own
creme
brulee.
All
of
that
cost
about
$90
per
diner
before
tip.
I
will
go
back
to
try
a
few
other
dishes
and
beverages
on
their
menu,
and
hopefully
to
try
some
of
their
fondues,
offered
on
Tuesdays.
Note:
The
adjacent
city
of
Kelowna
public
parking
lot
is
free
after
5
pm
in
the
fall
through
spring.
For
summer/tourist
season,
it
is
pay
parking
until
9
pm.
