I
went
to
Empire
the
other
day
for
a
little
lunch.
It
is
a
bright
airy
space
with
fun
artwork
throughout
the
space.
The
staff
was
friendly
and
kind
offered
personal
recommendations
when
asked
what
they
would
suggest.
The
menu
has
a
good
selection
of
savoury
and
sweet
crepes
offered
in
both
a
gluten
free
and
gluten
full
varieties
haha.
They
also
had
a
basic
selection
of
beverages
including
water
(sparkling
&
flat)
as
well
as
karma
sparkling
beverages
and
drip
coffees.
The
crepes
pictured
are
La
Traditionnel
(made
with
ham),
Piggy
in
the
garden
(made
on
a
gluten
free
crepe
with
chicken)
and
Le
Sucre
(made
on
a
gluten
free
crepe
with
butter
and
sugar)
all
were
very
nice!
I
really
enjoyed
the
le
sucre
crepe
it
was
a
nice
balance
of
butter
and
sugar
it
reminded
me
of
Norwegian
lefse
and
as
someone
who
doesn't
generally
chose
gluten
free
foods
it
tasted
as
good
as
a
regular
gluten
crepe
in
my
opinion!
I
would
definitely
go
back
again.
Also
of
note
is
how
kind
and
generous
this
business
was
during
the
McDougall
Creek,
Clifton
and
McKinley
fires
by
offering
a
place
to
sit
down,
charge
phones,
use
the
restroom
and
have
some
food
for
those
who
were
forced
to
leave
there
homes
with
little
or
no
notice.
It's
nice
to
see
local
businesses
rally
around
the
community
and
show
their
support
in
whatever
way
they
can.
Thank
you
Empire
😊
