I'm giving this restaurant a 2 star rating. The 2 stars are for the excellent service we received from the young man & young girl we had last nite! The fries were absolutely disgusting. Not at all edible! They used to be good. Even after mentioning they were not cook enough & receiving ones that were cooked longer, they still tasted gross. 4 other tables complained about the chips while we were there also! You would hope a establishment that claims they have the best fish & chips , would at the very least have edible chips!! C- lovers needs to do better.

Hmmm. Ever have that desire for artery clogging fun. I went here the other day and really enjoyed my meal. The Halibut platter I order came with halibut,. shrimp.. onion rings..fries and coleslaw. Everything was delicious crispy mess. Very tasty. Washed it down with a sleeve of honey brown beer. (Will be at gym working this out for a bit) lol. Staff was friendly and service was good. Price was okay as far as portion goes.

Oh my god. This is not the place to eat fish chips. Fish was okay, but the fries were disgusting, unsalted, not crispy. The worst of them all, they didn’t provide any dips or sauce to go with tue fish & chips. I have had better fish & chips than these. Sorry not ever again

The food was pretty good but the 2 waitresses were absolute dolls. They were so nice to us and every other customer. We can only afford to go out for food maybe once a month and having good service is almost as important as the food. GREAT JOB STAFF

We were so excited to go back when it opened again. Very dissappointed Small portions, black spots in all the COLD FRIES never offered more pop with,the bottomless pop. Prices have increased We won't be going back

The fish was fantastic and large helpings and reasonable prices. The onion rings are to die for. I had 1 piece of fish 1/2 order onion rings couldn't finish. My friend had deep fried pickles amazing Definitely going back

Just eaten here. Had the endless fish (pollock). Wife had the 2 piece cod. Service was great , food excellent. Fish tasty in a light batter . It’s licensed with a very acceptable selection of Sleeman beers on tap. Certainly recommend. Will be back

Great food & great service! What more you need. The server! She is a super hero, can't elaborate how good she was. Food is tasty, crunchy, and not oily. Definitely recommended ✋

Wow, what a great meal of cod and chips. You know it going to be good when your to go order is wrapped in newspaper. Highly recommend this lake out restaurant

If you want the most disgusting oily fries that are still raw and fish so thin it's basically fish jerky, this is your place. Most horrible dining experience I've ever had.

Great place to go to for Fish and Chips! Brodie is a great server - he is always so attentive, regardless if it's busy. 10/10 great service! We always look forward to seeing him there when we dine in. Great food - clean restaurant. Fantastic Location!

I'm from Vancouver and this is one the best fish&chips dinners I've ever been to. Spacious yet cozy dining place, wonderful staff and the most tender and flavourful halibut fingers I ever had.

I had been looking so forward to trying this place and it had been so hyped up for me. Sadly, I got the halibut and fries - fish was delicious and loved that it was lightly battered but fries were disgusting. Fries were pale, tasteless and even with vinegar and gravy I just couldn’t force myself to eat them. Don’t think I’ll be returning. I’ve had better fish and chips at a pub. However, server was very friendly.

Haven’t been in awhile noticed that they just reopened. Went for supper the fish was very greasy and the fries were a very small portion and were not cooked and the coleslaw had absolutely no flavour. The portions are half the size of what they use to be as I order the same meal every time I go. Won’t be back to this restaurant. But I will say the waitress was very friendly.

We were there tonight and the food and service were above and beyond Best we have had at c lovers . The owner went above and beyond to correct a small error made in a take out order from a few weeks ago. Food was delicious. A very positive experience. Will definitely frequent often and recommend to friends 😊

Best fish and chips in town! And for the people complaining they wrap the fish and chips in newspaper just know they use clean and new paper before they wrap the newspaper around, some people 🙄 The fish is always nice and crispy and not greasy. Love the food!

Had the halibut, very good, not greasy, light batter. Fries were terrible, undercooked and pale. Could not eat it. Service was good nice clean place with reasonable pricing. They do not have liquor license so even though menu indicates beer they don't serve alcohol.

Absolutely delicious 😋 I would highly recommend this place. The service was amazing! We'll definitely be back. Just wish their batter had flavoring and their fries were salted. It's just not the same putting it on afterwards.

Fish and chips were bland. No seasoning on anything. The cod in the fish was nice but the coating was tasteless. The fries were horrible. Tasted like something you get in the freezer section in a bag. Again zero seasoning on the fries. Tarter sauce tasted like it was from a bottle as well. Location is nice and the service was fast.
