We were 4 adults and 3 children staying in house #6963 Barcelona Drive east August 22 thru 25. 2022. We were so excited when we got there. All the amenities! Lovely home and certainly everything we were hoping for. The morning of the 23 we got up to 25 degrees in the house. The temperature continued to rise throughout the day. Owner told us to open the windows and turn the fan on over the stove. Went to bed that night. The house by then was 29 degrees and the temperature did not go down for the rest of our stay. We received no additional help with the air conditioning. That night one of the children fell ill from the heat and vomited in one of the beds. I tried my best to wash linens as best I could. Within an hour of us checking out we received an email stating that we would need to pay for a new set of sheets and additional cleaning time. There was no apology for the lack of help with the air conditioning or that my grandchild was so sick because of the heat. The house was perfect. The service was sub standard.

Beautiful homes that are well maintained with a scenic view. Location is quite out of the way from Kelowna, a very windy road with blind corners about 30 min away from downtown. Not much is included in the house- not even shower gel or shampoo. You will be expected to bring your own laundry pods as well as paper towels and saran wrap. But they do provide dishwasher detergent because they ask you to clean the dishes before you leave.

So I really want to love this place. If you plan to stay up several days within the cottages, then it's fine. Because there's a pool, there's hot tub, there's mini golf and a lot of other amenities such as a tennis court, volleyball court, a little market and restaurant. The only reason I can't love it is because of the 30 minute drive. It takes from the bottom of the mountain to the cottages. If you plan to go anywhere at all, it takes 30 minutes to get down the mountain in a windy, narrow road, that has goats and deers on it. If you don't plan to drive a lot, then this place will be great. The little marketplace where you order food is pretty amazing, the service is quite great and the food is reasonable on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There's a Taco Tuesday and a wings Wednesday

Overall the place was great and location phenomenal. Unfortunately, there was a boil water advisory on which we were not told about in advance. If we had known, we would have brought water up. We had an infant and children with us and were concerned for their health. In future, telling people prior to their arrival is essential.

Such a lovely place to visit. Lots to do in the resort itself plus some great trails to hike around there. Pools, tennis courts, mini golf, they have it all. Can even rent anything needed for water sports, as well as a golf cart to get around.

This is one of my favourite spots to visit! Amazing views and lots of things to do for the whole family with pools, swimming in the lake, boating, hiking, biking etc. If your looking for a place to rent outside of the hustle and bustle of Kelowna but within half a hour from town, la casa is paradise! Bring rock shoes if you plan on swimming at the beach.

I looked after a wine tasting for their paint night. Lovely staff and the guests were amazing. Views are spectacular.

We were a group of 25 people, everyone had wonderful time at this place. There was plenty of sleeping space for all of us and more. The kitchen and living room are huge. Beautiful view of the Okanagan Lake and valley. A must visit place. We will highly recommend it to everyone.

It was a nice clean cottage with a great view. Sofa was ripped and one of the beds was very squeeze though, making it an uncomfortable sleep. However we would definitely go back again. Guest services were easy to reach and answers all our questions over the phone and text.

Amazing resort for families. It can be a trek down to the beach, so be prepared to load up the car and walk in if you have young kids. Otherwise, splurge and rent a golf cart to get around. You'll be glad you did! Very well maintained property and home. The only minor downfall is the rocky Beach. We still enjoyed the beach, but if you want a sandy beach, head into town for an afternoon.

Scary drive there. Bring all your food in. The prices at the corner store on site are fair enough. When you get there you don't leave. House was great for multi families. Easily do 2 families of 4 plus grandparents. If you want to lay at the pool or lakeside and enjoy the hot kelowna sun then I couldn't think of a better place. Also, if you have one, bring your quad, dirt bike or side by side.

A really beautiful place to be. Friendly staff and great amenities. Pretty busy place but there is lots of stuff to keep you busy. The lake was amazing and with the trampolines in the water you can easily spend a few hours down there. I even lost my keys on one of the trips down to the water and they had them back to me in 2 days! Great place all around. Definitely stay again.

Very poor experience with La Casa. Very unfortunate too cause it’s rather expensive. The staff seems to have a very large entitlement issue. When requesting information, they make you feel like you have done something wrong. communication is abysmal when dealing with staff here. Very short unprofessional experiences every time. (I typically rent there cause it’s close to work sometimes) The owners are of the area aren’t all bad. Had some rather nice conversations but they too seem to have frustrations with the staff of La Casa at times. Some staff I’ve noticed follow people around the store. The security guys are all too ready for drama. Following people around and hovering like they’ve done something wrong. Cold hot tubs! Very cold pools. Upper and lower. They aren’t open in the winter months at all. Makes sense, you’d get hypothermia in those things.

This was such a great getaway for our whole family to meet and hang out together with lots of space. The rooms are very clean, have beautiful art work and have a very nice cozy feel. We had family from all over the world that met here and everyone had a fabulous time. There is so much to do at the house as well as within the complex. There are beautiful hikes in the back hills, Fintry park is less than a 5 minute drive up the road, the private beach on the lake is busy with La Casa families but we always found a seats right by the water for all 16 of us. This is a great place for all ages. Lots to do! Tennis, pickleball, mini golf, swimming in the pools, hot tubs (both at the house and in 2 different locations on the property), a restaurant, store and liquor store so you do not have to get small supplies if you run out. There are golf carts for rent to go up and down to the beach (we walked or used our car), paddle boards and kayaks for rent. They have you covered. The staff is very knowledgeable about the area and they were excellent if we needed help, which was not often. I highly recommend La Casa Mirador to anyone and we can’t wait to go back.

We stayed here over the long weekend and were thrilled with the home, the amenities, the beautiful lake, and scenery. The kids loved the swimming pool and mini golf. The AirBnb home was quiet and the community is outstanding. We plan to come back every year.

La Casa is a really lovely resort. I love the access to the lake. The stones in the water aren't great- makes it hard to swim in the water, but you can definitely kayak or boat. Access to facilities like swimming, mini-golfing, tennis etc are icings on the cake.

We love this place! We came from Vancouver for a few days family trip and we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed at one of the three bedroom cabins and the view was gorgeous. The area was clean and quiet. We also loved the pool and the hot tub.

This is such an amazing place for a family trip! We had booked two cottages close to each other. It was convenient and they offer golf cart rental if your cottage is further from the main area. The restaurant on site had amazing food. There was so much for the kids to do: play in the pool, mini golf, a playground, beach and lake! Strata was very fast and responsive for any concerns we had. I would definitely stay again !
