令和4年1月現在コロナ禍のため面会は一切禁止となっていました。そのため洗濯物や足りない物の補充等は、一階守衛室に荷物を預け看護師がそれを取りに行くというシステムになっています。
※必須だと思ったもの※
時計(スマホで良ければ不要)・手を拭くタオル・歯磨きのコップ・ハンドソープ・ボックスティッシュ・ウェットティッシュ・醤油・塩・胡椒(塩分等制限のない方)お箸は毎回付いてきます・スプーンも必要な時は付いてきます・お茶もコップに入って出てきます(食事の時布団に掛ける風呂敷を持って行ったのですが便利でした以外とこぼしたりしてしまうため)一階にコンビニありますが、手術で一週間程度の入院ですと、行けるのは恐らく初日だけだと思います。入院に必要と思われるものがほぼ揃っているので初日に部屋に入ってみて必要と思われるものはすべてそこで購入するのも良いかもしれません。
【全身麻酔手術の場合】タオル1本バスタオル2本パンツ1枚パジャマ1セットが必須となります。パジャマですがほぼ夏物で良いかと思います。私の場合は個室だったのですが部屋が(というより病棟全体が)とにかく暑いです。個室の日中の温度は27℃~30℃でした(1月真冬です)事故防止のため窓は20cm程しか開きませんので外気はほぼ取り入れられません。夜も暑くて眠れませんでした。そのためタオルを2本濡らしてビニールに入れ冷蔵庫で冷やしておき、オデコや首にあててタオルが温まったら冷蔵庫の冷えたタオルと交換しながら何とか涼をとりました。暑がりの方は夏物パジャマとうちわが必須かもしれません。そのため暖をとるための靴下やカーディガンは不要と思います。因みに湿度は常時測定不能のLO状態で空気はカピカピに乾いております。電力不要の加湿シートかデスク用のUSB加湿器があればと思ってました。
※看護師さんについて※(私がいた棟は4Bでした)
終始決まった看護師さんが看るわけではなさそうです。その日の昼と夜に交代制でほぼ毎日違う看護師さんが担当になります。そのため伝達がうまくいかないのか看護師さんによって判断が変わります。
術後、日中の看護師さんに用足しは全てベッド上で明日の朝までトイレは行けませんと言われ凹んでいたのですが、夜の看護師さんに尿意を伝えるとトイレに行かせてもらえました。良いか悪いかは別としてラッキーでしたが。主治医にくわしく質問して注意事項をメモしておくと良いかと思います。
ナースコールから到着までの時間は平均3分以内くらいだと思います。ナースコールが鳴り響く時間帯があり、急ぎでない場合なるべくその時間は避けて呼ばれた方が良いかもしれません。
特に態度の悪い看護師さんは見受けられませんでした。病状・緊急が最優先であり、旅館の仲居さんではないので多少素っ気なくされても一呼吸おいて(もしかしたら他で命に関わる処置をしているのかも…)と自分のコールの重要性を考えてみるのもイラっと感の軽減になるかと思われます。
とにかくみなさん見た目も個性豊かで堅苦しくなく外国の医療ドラマに出てくる看護師さんというイメージでした。身なりと実力は関係ないので私的にはとても良い事だと思います。個性的な髪型やファッションで看護師さんたちのモチベーションがあがるなら全く問題なしと考えます。
今回の入院で一番感じた事は
とにかく暑い!!
