Akhileshwar hanuman Temple in is an ancient temple around 45 km from Indore. It is famous for it's 24*7 Ramayana Path done by temple pandits n locals for more than 40 years. This temple have a history related to Ramayana as the locals say that when Hanuman was traveling from Sahastradhara, Narmada river taking shivling in his hand to Rameshwar, Tamilnadu he had a stop at here thus you may see Hanuman idol holding Shivling in his right hand. Locals also say that this temple belong to Dvapara Yuga. Route to temple is scenic n have ghats section, which makes the day trip full of excitement. A must visit during monsoon.

It very good experience going akhileshwar it is situated in okhla village in simrol the way through we reach akhileshwar was very adorable i went on friday i kov ethe place and the the way was very good for picnic and all but it is advisable to go with 5 to 6 members because it is very risky
