Awesome taste. Made me nostalgic about the time I spent in Bathinda. Chicken was very soft and properly cooked and Daal Makhni was a steal deal. Tomato soup in the starting gave a perfect start to our dinner and fresh lime soda concluded it in style. Staff was courteous and polite. Food was served quickly even when the rush was high. Ambiance was also good.

Enjoyed the food after a long time. Had the Non Veg Buffet which was really good. Mutton seekh, kenema Masala was also good. Felt the Galoti could be better it felt the same as Mutton seekh just the shape was different 😁 Overall a nice place their gol gappe was very authentic. Would love to visit again 🙂

Rustic, rugged ambience of Punjab in Chennai. Authentic Punjabi meal that's affordable. Good service by young women and men. They know what they're doing. Melt in the mouth-Butter Nan, Butter Chicken, Mix-veg raitha and sweet lassi. Everything tasted so yummy. Great quantity and quality.

A perfect Punjabi, themed restaurant (train).. Pind is in 2nd floor - veg.. Bhatinda is in 3rd floor - non veg.. Taste is excellent! Price is little higher than normal.. but worth it.. we tried naans, rotis.. with barbecue and hariyali chicken, punjabi chicken gravy.. Crowded at peak times.. need to wait.. Parking is available..

Bhatinda express had a express train themed ambience with a busy crowd on a Sunday dinner. Well this place was crowded and had a plenty of reservations which says the place offers some good food for the wait. Well the ambience was Punjabi themed train kinda stuff with dining spread across the place. The food was really good for the price and the quantity was also decent for two. I've had the below and loved each and every item I ordered. 1. BX spl kebab 2. Chilli lamb in oyster sauce 3. Butter garlic naan 4. Kadai chicken 5. Lassi 6. Classic mojito Though I felt the place was quite cramped and the service could have been better as the waiter didn't care much on how they should reach out to customers. I'd say it would compromise on the food they serve as it was really good but one suggestion is to improve the service behaviour of the staff. Overall a good experience and a must visit one.

Absolutely a wonderful place to have food. We loved all the dishes we ordered. I went with the non vegetarian buffet and they serve on the table which was quite unusual for a buffet. But then I was surprised as the quality of food kept increasing as they were serving all the dishes. Even the dishes ordered through the menu were amazing. Dhaal Makini was the best of all. The atmosphere is not quite conducive for family gathering as there was very less space between tables and plenty of people waiting to get inside. The music was soo loud as well. That is something the management needs to look into.

One of the best Punjabi and multi cuisine restaurant in town. They serve both Vegetarian and non vegetarian options and most of them are really tasty. Atmosphere is fantastic with a typical Punjabi vibe right from the entrance lobby. For few people it would be little claustrophobic as the ventilation seems little poor. Food quality is premium and typical Punjabi dishes are really scrumptious. Do try tandoor items and Punjabi gravies with varities of tandoor breads. There is an option of both veg and nonveg buffet as well. Beverages are also available to accompany your meals. They infact serve a welcome drink as well. A good option for meals with friends, families and for office parties as well.

The ambiance is simply great, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable meal. The food was undeniably awesome - each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. However, there was a bit of a downside when it came to service. The food took a bit longer than expected to arrive at our table, which might be frustrating for those in a hurry. Also, it's worth noting that this place might not be the best choice for larger groups (7+ people), as the service can be a bit slow for larger parties.

Good place for a group lunch. Both veg and non veg available. The menu is exhaustive and everyone has an option. Parking is hell as some road construction is going on. Place is definitely a good recommendation for a nice office lunch or with family. Lovely Punjabi songs in the background and a terrific mango lassi to top it off. Food takes a little time but it's best of you are not in a hurry to finish lunch.

Small place but was set up creatively.. Tried non veg starters, it's good and many other items tasted good except the naan which was so elastic and difficult to chew. Better to book early or have to wait in que and seem difficult to co ordinate ..there s no one to assist and just could see everyone running around with orders which can be managed well. People who love Bollywood music will enjoy listening while eating Would definitely go again to try few other dishes which I missed to try. The parking space is limited otherwise on the road need to find a space.. Mostly i suppose this place is crowded..

Theme of restaurant is good. First time I've seen the menu card as newspaper, with 100 of varieties. The taste resembles like north, but it taste good as well. Price were bit high. Lassi at the end is must try!

Very nice place to visit with Family and Friends. Every dish that you choose from their menu is delicious and served really quick. Few things are on the costlier side but still their taste would make you feel no regret. Waiting time during the visit to get seats is mostly very long. That too, if you go in a big group of 10+, you definitely have to wait for very long to get seats. For a change, we pre-booked tables today and we didn't have any wait time. It was a very smooth entry.

The theme restaurant - Train, kids liked it. Food is slightly expensive and the quantity is way too low for that price. We've ordered too many dishes to get filled and the bill amount to ₹4000 for a family. Instead we can have a great Buffet or Barbeque at various places

The place is really good, and the food is tasty, in service there is a delay in serving foods which makes us tired, as per atmosphere, the sitting table were wooden type, the make us waiting for a long time, so sitting on a bare wooden table cause a little pain on our thighs. Otherwise it is must try place.

It's a beautiful train themed restaurant which is surreal and exquisite. The vibe of the restaurant is so positive and bright. It is a perfect recreation of a Punjab Junction. The seats are exactly recreated like train seats. Buffet is available for Rs.699+ taxes. It is a must try restaurant in Chennai. This restaurant is one of the finest restaurants in Chennai. It is located near Chennai One, Thoraipakkam. We tried their Authentic Paneer Patiala, Garlic Naan, Mango Lassi, Cream of Tomato Soup, Baby Corn Pakoda and Malai kofta Biryani. All the dishes were lip smacking good. A perfect place for gatherings, dayouts, for family visits and to chill with your friends.

Food, service and atmosphere was good. The train theme was also good . Their veg sizzler starter platter was a treat to the eyes! Grill chicken was subtle, not too spicy nor bland. Mattar paneer gravy was too oily. Other than that taste was good .

All the starters were ultimate taste and especially their kebab and BBQ are must try. Their non veg platter to a good option for team lunch gathering. Parwan satay was not good as it is Chinese style and I was disappointed with the main course it was not served hot and did not tasted good as we ordered Mutton and chicken briyani. It was cold and does not benchmark the taste. At least pls don’t miss to try their Lassi options as your desert. 😋

This restaurant is located near Chennai One office toll gate . The day we went , some of the restaurant food items were too salty. It is not suitable for larger crowd , as they have arranged to sit 4 people in a train berth kind of sofa , it will be uncomfortable. Smaller group it will be fine . We have tried many punjabi dishes , it tastes good . They can enhance the ambiance to attract more.

Punjabi theme restaurant. The place is a little congested, still ok and manageable. Food is good, limited items in starters but available items are good. Buttermilk is a nice touch inbetween the meal. Chat items also available as a part of the menu if we opt for buffet. Desserts: Shahi tukra and moong dal halwa are nice. Very few flavours in icecreams. Cons: should avoid bringing buttermilk in an old liquor bottle. **Myonise is charged extra. Buffet price: 700/head both veg and non veg.

This is one of the theme restaurants, depicting the inner side of the train compartment. Unique experience. Kids really enjoyed the food. The prawn fry, panner butter masala, grill chicken are too good. Chicken momos need improvement. Overall very nice.

Came here for ala carte dinner and was pretty impressed by the wonderful decor they have made all the way from ground floor entrance and every inch of the restaurant. The decor was so interesting that you have to take a minute to stand back and admire all that they have done. Parking is limited but they have valet parking. The menu was the regular Punjabi with some twist. We got some butter chicken and naan, and mutton Biriyani. The food was fresh and hot but taste wise it was very average. They should have half the attention they gave to decoration. The servers are friendly and helpful. It would cost about 750 to 1000 for dinner for two. You can try here if you want taste average Punjabi food in an artistic environment, otherwise I would not recommend being a regular here.

We dined from Bhatinda Xpress for a team lunch with a bunch of colleagues craving for a nice non-veg meal on a weekday when the boss was out of town and we had an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G time. We were 10 of us and we sat inside the train coach which has been done up nicely. We ordered a whole bunch of starters, various rotis and naans, mutton and chicken main courses and topped it up with a glass of lassi - check out the snaps! The main courses tasted distinctly different and the meat was succulent. I loved the taste! The price is on the higher side but for 300-400 Rs per person, I'd still say, Bhatinda Express is totally worth it. The hardest part was driving 20 km back to work after a wholesome meal and spending the rest of the day at the desk!

Few of the food were surprisingly good .. fried rices and noodles, soups, BBQ, shawarma platters. But not the biriyani I imagined to be. Biriyani with 2-3 was bit on expensive side not so good. Over all it was good experience.

Authentic Punjabi restaurant. Always crowded and no advance booking accepted. A train coach themed restaurant that provides cozy ambience. Due to canal work, parking is on roadside only. Also very limited valet parking available. Don't miss to dry lassi varieties.

Suggestion: Reserve the table in advance. If you are more than 10 people (we were 13) you will hardly find a table together, but if you are lucky enough you might get a table available on the first floor, which is comparatively better than their main floor (3rd floor). Food: Food was good, pizza had too much cheese but it was good, we tried cheese corn balls, Hara bhara kabab (not recommended), honey chilly potato, gobhi 65, manchow soup, kadhai mushroom, etc. basically you will get good variety of veg and nonveg food. Service was excellent, but I would recommend finding a place on the first floor (the third floor was too crowded). Overall a good experience.

Loved the restaurant a lot!!! At first sight I wanted to try it because it was different than the other boring ones...So, I went inside and the train - like theme was awesome!!! I couldn't control my addiction to snap photographs. The food was awesome!!! Tasty food, non - veg, veg, buffet, Chilly chicken, Manchurian, Tangri kebab, Chicken lollipop e.t.c. but, not satisfied with the briyani.... Anyways, the waiters and waitresses are kind and decent. Food at fair price...Great ambience...???????

Rich Punjabi Food which tastes delicious. We went to the veg only section. I would say Food served here tastes better than non vegetarian. This is one of those restaurants where hardly any thing served would end up disappointing your taste buds. Definitely a great place to eat vegetarian. They have high way dhaba theme decoration inside. Which was very nice.

Chicken and garlic soup, Pani Puri , starters including paneer, hariyali kebab, chichen and potatoes were lip smacking. Main course was also good except egg biryani which was lacking salt. For desserts gulab with ice-cream a perfect combo, fruit salad, vermicelli kheer was satisfying. P.S. Apple flavoured welcome drink was really soothing.

Went for lunch here with my senior colleagues. Been to their veg joint Pind earlier, may be couple of times. They dont disappoint you with their variety of dishes, hospitality, ambience, speed of service and of course the top class quality of the food. I had veg platter - enjoyed every piece of it and so delighted. And had stuffed masala kulcha with dal makhani - needless to say, that was also too good. Finished with Masala Cola - sssssssslurrrrrrpppppp....

This place is great! ✌️ Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious and menu is with wide variety. Food 🥘 is pretty good and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Highly recommend! Definitely coming back.

Food was absolutely good in taste. Ambience is good but little congested. Avoid going on peak time on weekends otherwise you have to wait a long

A North Indian restaurant where you can get both veg and non-veg dishes in good quality. Their menu has good variety, but pricey for the quantity they serve. They have train coach like setup.

The atmosphere And service was really good.Train based theme.. Paani puri and welcome drink was served for free... Food was good. Panneer parantha and cheesy panneer was most liked by us of which all we ordered. Mushroom 65 was extra salty..and Gobi manchurian was not upto the level...

Good ambiance and food taste better than average. Recommended for both veg and non vegetation. Not recommended - All kinds of Soups (more salty) Recommended - bread variety, mushroom 65, veg biryani, lassi Price - overpriced Parking - available for both two wheeler and cars
