    Was there recently. Quality has gone down the drain. All gravies served with non veg meals came in tiny containers and diluted to the maximum. Juice was just sugar and service was pathetic. I have beautiful memories of the delicious food I enjoyed 20 years back at anjappar nungambakkam branch. It will not come back, I think. Never to this place again. Good restaurant with good food. Went there for take away.

    Good Chettinad restaurant present at omr. We ordered chicken kothu parota, chicken keema dosa, chicken kebab which all costed us 560rs which is average for restaurant of this size. Restaurant has ample parking space. Chicken kothu parota was good as always. Gravy provide was really good. Chicken kebab was top notch, it really feeds your tastebuds. We'll marinated boneless chicken cubes with good spices and tanginess. Must try here. Chicken keema dosa was average. On the whole, the restaurant never disappoint us.

    The place is okay and provide good authentic south Indian and north Indian food. It can seat approx 50 people. The ambience is family oriented with table service. Food is very tasty. Prices are affordable. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available. However, I will not recommend it to hardcore vegetarians because preparation is common for both type of dishes. Also, they do not serve popular south Indian food items such as idli, dosa, uttapam round the clock but only after 4:00 PM. All in all, good for short meals.

    Unresponsive staff went with my friend ,the waiter Not listening to orders properly and argues with me like say fastly , whats your budget. Racist and rude attitude could be clearly seen between how they attended posh , fair customers and us the team didn't even respond after multiple call

    Actually Anjappar in OMR is shifting from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor. The dining was available at the same time renovation work was going on. So the food quality was not good. It was very good earlier. Ice cream options were limited.

    The price is too high. One glass of apple juice costs 145 rupees. Mutton biryani is mediocre (worst) and costs 310 rupees. total bill of INR 2300 for 3 people. It's not worth it. Not recommendable.

    Cleanliness should be improved, lot of cockroach and bugs in the table. Cockroach is running on the plates, no AC. They can stop the dining if any renovation is underway. Price is high for the quality of food served

    None of the menus available on weekdays dinner time We asked for , biriyani (any), idly, appam,idiyappam all these are not available We went for dinner around 8pm even at that time most of their menu turns out unavailable Worst service and food taste Delayed service always 100% NoT Recommend If you really earn your money in a good way, please don't waste it with them Try another chettinad restaurant 100% its genuine feedback We have a total of 8 members anjappar restaurant disappointed a lot

    This place is good in ambience. A decent restaurant where you can get eatables i decent price. However the varieties are not limited in terms of chicken and sea food items. I have visited in a non Prime timing so the service is not up to the mark where I have to wait for the server to ask to refill water, to add more items in order etc., The taste of biriyani and chicken were nice and the falooda was awesome. I give 4 stars because of the lack of customer service skills

    Satisfied. Must place and goto place for southern flavours. . Long long ago i used to have team lunches at Besant nagar, Adyar and on with friends occasionally as well and enjoyed authentic foods . After that moved away to omr and been to many other new and fancy restaurants few were satisfied and most were disappointed , and at last went in for Anjapar along with my family at Thoraipakam . Service was prompt, Foods served on time , Taste also satisfied my family . Personally Anjapar always satisfied me .

    One of the best restaurants in Chennai. It has a brand name for the best food. I would like to suggest my friends to go for a dinner or a lunch. The staff working over there are gentle and kind and responding firmly.

    I DONT recommend. Being IT sector surrounded area. They fail to be the best. I ordered chinese which I should have not because Anjappar is not for that. Further disappointment is Grape Pulpy juice. It was served from the packet and there is no Pulpe for each sip as they say. Overall food was not tasty as it was in Porur and other Anjappar. I will not go here again.

    A beautiful restaurant with tasty food and their function hall is picturesque. The hand drawn paintings totally got me and the restaurant manager Suresh was very polite and their hospitality was something I admired. So were all of his stuff. I'd definitely recommend for any function, party as the hall is free. They even let the air conditioner on from morning during the decorations for the evening function.

    🍲 I didn't eat much But here's what I know The food is good there But it is EXTREMELY pricey for the quantity The chicken 65 was more like 6 pieces of chicken and it was a bit bigger.it could use some seasoning tho Naan and Chettinad curry was good

    We ordered chicken biriyani, and Natukodi Biriyani. No difference. No good taste. For Natukodi just they added Natukodi peaces only. Food card is not working

    We had a busy day and reached the restaurant at 10.30PM though that late and that too on a busy weekend. The service they provided us was sooo good!! The dishes were well cooked and served hot. They even made a new veg biryani for us as it was done for the day! One great dining experience after a long time! Definitely worth the try

    Don't choose this restaurant even if you don't have any other option. Worst Service with non hygienic and deadly waste food, served with a mixture of fish and chicken gravy with lots of oil. Totally waste of money and highly frustrated at the time hungry. Simple eg. They serve Country chicken pepper fry gravy in the flavour of Chelli sauce (Ready made gravy)

    Poor taste. We had to wait for almost 2 hour to get our order even then they got the order wrong. There wasn't much crowd there so the delay cannot be justified. Very poor service ever I seen in my life.

    Taste of food is okay. I tried Biryani, jigar thanda, chicken sides, prawn pakoda. Ambiance is good and clean for family Rate per quantity ratio is more. Prices are high.

    The experience was pleasant and good. The cost seems nominal for me...since we went as group of 5 members and the bill was approximately 1600 and it seems good since each would have a share of 200-300 at max. So Taste - Price ratio seems good and there is no complaint on the service. It was hygiene and well sanitized in all areas. Lifts are provided for elders and car parking is also available.

    Price is nominal. Cleanliness is moderate. Prime location. Nice music always on the background. The menu options must improve. Weekends are always hectic. Kathir's Management to address customers needs and deliver the best he can to satisfy them is good. Ismail's service is also highly commendable. All the staffs are polite and friendly thus far in all my experiences thus far.

    We had a function 3 days before in anjappar party hall,thoraippakam. Having a great expectation we booked the hall and spent 60 numbers of buffet.But the persons attended were less than the paid number.the quantity served for veg and non veg was less and the feedback from those who attended was not satisfied. Please make sure that those who dine get satisfied and does not loose the name of the restaurant.
