Vito's
Ristorante
offers
a
dark,
moody,
and
romantic
atmosphere
that
almost
transports
you
to
a
cozy
Italian
villa.
While
the
ambiance
was
inviting,
I
found
the
LED
tea
lights
a
tad
disappointing;
real
candles
would
have
enhanced
the
mood
substantially.
The
front-of-house
operations
were
smoothly
managed
by
the
owner,
setting
the
stage
for
a
delightful
meal.
The
focaccia
bread,
served
as
a
preamble,
was
unique
and
tasty.
However,
warming
it
up
a
bit
would
have
elevated
the
experience.
The
meat
ravioli
fritti
was
a
highlight;
they
tasted
like
a
gourmet
version
of
chef
boyardee
raviolis,
and
they're
a
must-try
for
next
time.
The
Caesar
salads
were
decent
but
could
benefit
from
a
few
more
croutons.
The
lasagna
was
meaty,
flavorful,
and
satisfying.
However,
the
chicken
Alfredo
was
a
letdown,
arriving
drowning
in
sauce
despite
my
specific
request
for
a
lighter
application.
The
waitress
assured
us
she
had
underlined
"LIGHT"
multiple
times,
making
this
a
kitchen
oversight.
Overall,
Vito's
Ristorante
is
good
enough
for
a
second
visit,
although
I'm
not
in
a
rush
to
return
primarily
due
to
the
Alfredo
incident.
If
the
experience
improves
on
a
subsequent
visit,
I'll
gladly
update
my
review.
