Made a reservation for a birthday dinner 2 weeks prior to coming in, we walked in and no one greeted us, sat us, took our order, NOTHING. The only person working was the bartender, and I really felt bad for the guy because according to him, no one told him that they had a party of 15 coming. He really did try his best. Half of our party got their food and the other half didn’t, and when we asked about it, they brought more food out but STILL forgot a couple people’s orders. The food was not worth a penny either, half was served cold. Then, after being extremely disappointed, we asked for our checks so we can make it to our club reservation. Tell me why is took them nearly and HOUR to bring our checks, after us asking multiple times? The only things that were remotely cool about the place were the decorations. Will not be going again and will be deterring everyone from trying the place.. Props to the bartender that worked there that night.

I agree with the guy about hospital parking. Can’t park due to bar traffic. I had to park on the street and my tires were slashed. Since Baker’s is closed down, I assume they can migrate to that parking lot. Or Kong’s should have their own parking lot! That’s a novel idea!

We decided to go into Midtown Oklahoma City to try Kongo Cantina & Chill. What a Great decision. I'm sure it gets a little crowded on Thursday Friday and Saturday. We were there on a Wednesday night. They have a pretty good sized bar there. If your lucky enough to get Jordahn as your server she is Great!!! This is a laid-back bar and restaurant its not a chain so forget the hurry in and hurry out. The menu is small. The food they make is large. Just check out the pictures! My family had a great time.... Check out this place you won't regret it..

The music was really good. None of the tables were ever bussed. I watched one of the bartenders put a drink in his mouth and baby bird it into some young cute girls (customer) mouth. Blahhh gross! Wet couldn't order food because it was shut down.

You go to the website and it clearly shows food and cocktails. But it's a club scene. It was cool and all but we wanted food. They told us they don't serve food... So can you please change your website? Super confusing. If it's only during the day, you should probably have that on the website too. It's not even called kings cantina it's called kings tavern, so then we asked if there was another place attached that served the food. Nope. Disappointing and the guy wasn't very nice about it.

It was okay place. Friendly folks and live band was good. I am a little older so not my crowd. However everyone there was having fun. This place is a restaurant that turns into night life club. In area of OKC that is called midtown.

Food was delicious and fresh. Waitress was fast and friendly.

Went here a few weekends ago for the night life, twice! It was so fun, chill and definitely beautiful. My friends, husband and myself love it here✅🥰✅🥰 drinks were always amazing. We'll be back!

My goodness I cannot say enough about this place!! ABSOLUTLY AMAZING FOOD and the kind you really can't get anywhere else!!! I have yet to order anything that not only met but exceeded my expectations. Fresh made dishes that will knock your socks off! We recently had an event here and not only the staff but the owner himself went above and beyond to make it a great success. This place is "outside the box" on more than one level. If your looking for a fun and inviting atmosphere with unparalle food and service this place is for you! This is an all ages venue.

So this is going to be a bit of a mixed review. I was alarmed to see when I walked in not a single person wearing a mask including the bartender. Still... I decided to fond a table away from the crowds and managed to enjoy the night and the live band. The atmosphere is fun, bright, and energetic. The drinks are pretty good for the price. Id like to see some more covid consciousness but other than that this is a pretty cool spot to chill and grab a quick bite.

I couldn't tell you anything about the bar itself because I am at the hospital across the road. My wife and I have been here for 2 days now, her brother in ICU and the customers from this establishment make it very difficult to find hospital parking. Please be respectful and use different parking areas, we are from out of state up here to see sick loved ones and need to park closer than over a block away. It must be a good bar the hospital parking lot is always full.

came here to try out the food and drinks at 9pm on a Thursday and no food available. bar tender seemed nice. We went down to Sunset Patio Bar and they had amazing food and drinks and a DJ.

Kong's Tavern was an excellent choice for brunch. We had four people in our party & we all ordered something different so that we could try four different items. They were all awesome in my opinion. Definitely try the Migas! Friendly attentive server also.

Cool Midtown spot. Came for Sunday Funday pretty dead around 3 pm. No champagne to be had. So there goes my appetite for Mimosas. Switched to a really nice scratch Rita from an engaging bartender. He explained they don’t do brunch so no more champagne. Maybe they can stock some Underwood Champagne single serve cans for Sunday Funday mimosa fans like me? 1 star down for not having Champs! Otherwise fun spot.

Friendly ,we have a great time even time we are there.. If u never been u need to come Saturday nights it popin' dj plays good jams and food is awesome manager walks around talks to everyone his very helpful and professional..

We partied, played pool and had a great time! The crowd was super lit, the vibe there was great!

Very cool atmosphere playing a lot of 2000 hits hip hop and r&b the food and the drink was delicious.. went on a Sunday but the kitchen doesn't open until 4:00

Very nice staff. I even had the pleasure of meeting the bartenders' family while enjoying dinner and drinks after a long business meeting. Overall, the hospitality of this place was great! Keep up the good work.
