This was our first time experiencing a fondue, cook your own food restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh, a definite 10/10. The service we received was disappointing to say the least, 2/10. For our cheese fondue, we did the spinach artichoke and thoroughly enjoyed it. We decided to go with the cast iron cooking option for our main course and it gave our food a great flavor. We did the create your own and had the chicken, filet minon (absolutely delicious), shrimp and salmon (incredible). Our desert was the flaming turtle and it was the cherry on top of a delicious meal, we were scraping the sides. The only downside to our meal was the service. We were patient because we know it is busy and short staffed, however we felt we were not treated equally to other customers seated around us. Others were seated after us and left 30 minutes before us. We saw our waiter waiting on a large table multiple times but he rarely stopped to even check on us. We waited almost 40 minutes from the time we finished our main course to even get our waiter to take our desert order. I understand wanting a larger tip and all, but abandoning your smaller tables to do so is not a good look. We were there for over 2 1/2 hours. A table seated almost an entire hour after us was receiving their desert at the same time we were. The worst part was the lack of accountability on our waiters end. He continued to blame that the kitchen was backed up, while people who ordered after us were receiving their food before us. When spending a pretty penny on dinner, you would think the service would be better. Overall, we had a great experience however next time if we have the same waiter we will request a new one so we can have a better dining experience.

Ask for Jordan, he's the best! We came into the city for a concert, so we had a tight schedule to keep. Jordan was professional, friendly, and quick as lightning! He had us in and out in less than 90 minutes. The atmosphere was great, with tables in large communal areas and some in out-of-the-way nooks for more privacy. We had the 4-course date special and everything was delicious!

This was our first experience of any Kinda fondue in the Oklahoma. Restaurant: at first glance the ambiance looked awesome and really big compare to its entrance. :) It’s bit full of different type of smells (of course due to melting cheese, chocolate and so on). Coming to the food part, we were 3 people visited and as this is first time we avoided ordering the anything from entree as we wanted to try different things from menu. We ordered; Crispy stuffed mushrooms- 4/5 (can become better if they change the dressing provided with it) Vegan Polpettes - 3/5 ( we tried just to give it a try, if you don’t try no worries 😉) Spinach Artichoke cheese 🫕- 5/5 (must try) Flaming Turtle- 5/5 (candied pecans - you have my heart) Drinks - Order by your self. Overall good experience, we’ll definitely go for entrées next time when someone throws a party there (bit expensive when it comes to give out of pocket 😜). Disclaimer: Only Vegetarian, not even vegan this time. :)

My boyfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary and it was wonderful! They gave us a secluded booth with rose petals on the table. (Not worth ten dollars but still cute!) The server was very kind! We got the ‘Big Night Out for Two’. It came with a cheese fondue, two salads of your choice, your choice of meat and broth, and your choice of desert fondue. The total for it was 127$! The place was beautiful though and the experience was nice. The sides felt almost not worth the money. We got the s’mores fondue and that however was totally worth every penny. Our server lit the marshmallow on top on fire! Overall I’d definitely try this place out on a special occasion!!

For our wedding anniversary one of the best places we have been! Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and great service! They even have a romantic setting that you can plan with a reservation.

Host was very nice even though we didn’t RSVP. We got seated and didn’t had to wait. I advice to call ahead. Service given was excellent. Waiter Mason M. was a great help explaining the menu and had good recommendations. Food was delicious and lots of fun 🤩. Drinks definitely a must try! Different seating areas so one can have a romantic evening. One thing I was a bit disappointed was the lady’s room was a mess. Definitely something that needs to be kept clean.

Great fondue restaurant. I got the big night out for two which was delicious. Lots of food. The house salad is a favorite and has all the goodies on such as egg, bacon bits, cheese, croutons etc. The cheese fondue is awedome and the pretzel bread is my favorite on that course. They give you so much meat on the third course i usually end up taking some home with me. The chocolates and dippers are to die for. They give you plenty of things to dip. My waiter was nice and attentive. Overall a good experience.

Casey S. deserves a raise I came in with my mom for mother's day and the customer service was outstanding and the food was perfect the experience was fun and out of this world. Casey went above and beyond for us a couple of times, my mom does not do mustard so she accommodated her on this by bringing her regular butter for her lobster tail and she even remembered a quick conversation that her and my mom had about liking dark chocolate better then milk chocolate so she even modified our chocolate fondue and even that was superb. Whatever you guys do, she deserves a raise for working hard and making sure the guests are happy coming in and happy going out.

Kareema made our first experience at the Melting Pot a very enjoyable one! The menu was a bit confusing at first but she made sure to take her time and carefully explain everything. We will definitely be returning! She is knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and I'm very glad the she was our table hostess for the night. The food is absolutely AMAZING and we left full!

What else can I say but WOW!!! Took my husband here for our anniversary, I paid a little extra for a special surprise of rose petals on the table. You guys really went ALL OUT for us! We had a very secluded booth, and felt like royalty all night. We never get to do anything this nice without all of our kids so this date was extra special. I could write all day about the little ways in which your staff made it the perfect night, but I will simply say... Josh was phenomenal and deserves a raise. Not only did he treat us with the upmost respect and graciousness but he handled a situation at our next table that could have been very upsetting for our neighbor guests. He acted with so much professionalism and grace!! I just can't say enough good things about him and this place. We will definitely be returning!!! The exquisite food, the atmosphere, the staff all receive my highest praise!!

This was our first time to visit the melting pot and we LOVED it! Our server, Timmy was such a huge help as we had no idea where to begin. He walked us through the menu and shared recommendations as well. The food was delicious and there was a lot of it. We will be back!

We came here because of a recommendation from a friend. The staff was great, our waiter was very funny but also very friendly and helpful when it came to navigating the menu. The bacon potato cheese fondue was probably my favorite. The main course we chose was the larger one with the lobster, filet, chicken, shrimp and steak. All of it was delicious! We spent over 3 hours here, so I would plan to have plenty of time. It did not feel like 3 hours at all we had so much fun. We had the cookies and cream fondue which was good as well, it had marshmallows, cookies, brownie as well as pineapple and strawberries. I would highly recommend this place for anyone. I forgot to mention I also had the modern old fashioned to drink and I enjoyed it as well.

The service was amazing! Our servers name was Kaitlyn . She was super nice! Kept checking on me and my girlfriend. It was our 2 year anniversary and the melting pot, made it an amazing day and experience. Will definitely be coming back again, might even make it our goto anniversary date!

The staff were just as good as the food. The prices are a little high but well worth it. I would recommend anyone in a group more than 3 or 4 make a reservation. The dining room was well packed when we arrived however, we had reservations so that was no issue at all. The staff will walk you through the menu, so if you're new or hesitant, they can help you and make recommendations for your dining experience.

My wife and I had a reservation at this location for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We both have never been to the Melting Pot but I knew I wanted it to be special so we scheduled for "Thursdate." When we arrived we were seated immediately and presented with a room in a private hall beautifully setup with rose petals and candles. It was absolutely stunning. Our waiter Jake. S was hands down the best waiter we have had at any restaurant we've ever been too. He was extremely polite and professional. Walked us through the entire menu options providing fantastic recommendations! At the end of our night he offered to take a picture of my wife and I together. We both wanted to say thank you again to Jake for making our night special. I recommend going with a pot broth for your entrée. I have never cooked food in that way before but was surprised at the depth of flavor it added to every item. Also get all the extras for dessert its worth it just for the cheesecake alone! From the Atmosphere to the service and the food I wish I could give this Melting Pot a higher score than just 5 stars it was a beautiful experience.

Love this place. My husband and I like to have a romantic date night here in one of the private dinning rooms specifically setup for special occasions. It's a bit pricey, approximately $50. + per person depending on what is ordered. The staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. Take your spouse here for a romantic evening. You won't regret it. Make sure to call ahead to reserve the private room.

My only knock is the bar service was a little slow, but could be purposeful as the experience is meant to take roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. We split 3x of the bigger portions between 7 male adults and it was more than enough food. Was my first visit to a fondue restaurant, was fun!

  • 2/5 Bill L. 3 years ago on Google
Unfortunately we departed the restaurant before we are the main course. We waited an hour and a half and decided to leave. The service was.less than desirable.

Nice spot for delicious Fondue. Arrived at five, it wasn't busy. Prices were average for the menu. Ambience is similar to Fresno's scene.

This was a first and I really enjoyed it. They have great lunch specials which run from 12p to 4p. I got the meal that has your choice of fondue, choice of three meats and choice of salads. The price was amazing for the amount of food that I had. This is not including the tray with the pretzel bread, apples, celery, broccoli and carrots.

We had a reservation for 815pm and were seated immediately. The service was great and they adjusted the menu for us as we had a group of three. It seemed like it would have been easier with 2 or 4 people with the pricing. It was expensive but it was a special night and it came with a significant amount of food. The cheese and chocolate were wonderful! House dressing very good. The meat was fabulous. I really enjoyed the teriyaki steak

Delicious food, thoughtful service. Dinner took 2 hours but the time flew by - courses were well paced & you eat slower since you are cooking as you go. Highly recommend for a birthday or anniversary dinner with someone special.

This was our first time eating at the Melting Pot (after wanting to visit since we were broke college kids in 2010) and our experience was great! I made a reservation for 6:45 on a Saturday and we were seated within 10 minutes. We ordered the Land and Sea and the Pacific Rim and everything was delicious, but the highlight of the night was the s’mores dessert fondue!! Emma was our server and she did a phenomenal job of explaining the menu, giving us recommendations, and frequently checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. She was very friendly and made our first visit top notch! We’ll definitely be back!

Ashley C. gave us excellent service, and helped some first timers through the ropes with knowledge and patience. She made my birthday extra special. Reserved table online and it was smooth and easy. We will definitely return...the chocolate was worthy of it advertising.

Had a great family dinner tonight. Good was great especially for our daughter’s first time here. Our server Emma was wonderful! She was very attentive and considerate of all my food allergies. She always had our drinks refilled before we needed to ask. Very happy and full!

Definitely on the expensive side, but mostly paying for the experience. With the 4 course package, you get appetizers with 1 cheese fondue, 1 salad each, 2 entree options & then a dessert fondue. Cooking the food yourself is fun for dates or group meals. Alcoholic drinks were tasty. All of the food was delicious! The service was great!

Tradition to have my oldest daughter birthday dinner at Melting Pot, no matter the state we are in. And OKC Melting pot did not disappoint 🙌 👏 our server was new, but Jocelyn did a fabulous job! It was busy we know the deal but and smile and swiftness and cute personality we had a great time. I didn't realize some thing's are different at some locations different but still great. Get some sparkling water in bottles PLEASE. Food was just as great as anticipated. Thanks so much looking forward to coming back to this location. Great service, great food, atmosphere, with amazing company this is what I love. Thanks

Had not been here in a few years but decided to have a date night. Here's my take on it. The cheese fondue, salads and dessert fondue 🫕 is very delicious, but entree is lacking. We felt like we would have e to go grab something g else to eat after there because it was not filling at all. The entree portion for 2 people was maybe enough for one person and the price is $$$ for what you get. We sat at the bar and service was good and consistent . We kept hearing the servers that were gathering at the end of bar. All negative guests remarks were heard. This was a big turn off as they can discuss away from people sitting within ear shot. My husband left his Credit card by mistake and we called an hour later when we noticed. The host table is 6 steps from bar. We asked the person on phone if they could confirm if we left the card at the bar. The person said it would be 10pm before he could call us to let us know. Needless to say that was very annoying. We drove back since we were in the area still and it was there. We did advise the manager about this person too. Overall the experience itself was good. Would come back for the cheese fondue 🫕

  • 4/5 Angel M. 1 year ago on Google
Really fun experience! Great management! Coming in was weird, came a bit before our reservation and had to wait. No place to sit either, besides the bar. The manager was attending our table for a while until a server was able to take over. They were both great! Food was great quality, it was a blast getting to cook with my wife. We had fun getting to dip and cook all our stuff. My only reason for holding back from a 5 star is the fact we were their two plus hours. The appetizer came out slow, salad long after, meats and oil even longer, thankfully the desert came quick and we left right after that lol. Food was great! But the wait was brutal.

Came here for a night out. A little confusing off the bat for my first time, was going to rate it lower for that but the experience and food more than made up for it! Our waiter was also very patient and enthusiastic which made the whole experience amazing. I love this place and will be back.

We have been to the melting pot many many times for both special occasions and just because. When its a special occasion they always present us with an appropriate card for the situation signed by the staff. Its a simple yet exceptionally nice gesture. It is a little pricey but aside from great food you are also paying for the experience. In the past I would have almost always rated our experience at 5 stars. I have only rated 4 stars in consideration of our most recent experience. While the food was great the waiter and the experience he provided was severely lacking both in service and personality. Our most recent experience was only worth 2 or 3 stars and the experience definitely did not justify the price. I sincerely hope that it was just a one off and not of sign of things changing.

The Melting Pot is one of the best resturants I have eaten at. They bring a whole deliciously new meaning to fondue type meals...and yes they also have cheese fondue too. The Land & Sea meal is great, and the dipping desserts are to die for. While I ate alone, the meals are really planned for 2 people...hense why I was so full when I left.

Is it a bit on the pricey side? Yes. Is it worth every penny? Abso-freaking-lutely! I can only have a big night out here about twice a year, and I wish I could afford it once a week. The Melting Pot is a fantastic restaurant and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend that if you have never been here before, please go and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

It was an awesome experience and fondue was great my girl prepared a special date for me. It was bit pricey but everything was worth it and our server Natalie she was very good at her job and know what she is doing. First time and I had a great time. The reservation was spot on in greeting us and taking us to our table. Very nice ambience for a dinner date though the $100+ for two was a bit pricey but was worth the experience, which took us about 2 hours.

  • 5/5 Wendy M. 3 years ago on Google
The waitress the food and the entire experience is wonderful well worth going. Will go again. Is a bit pricey but worth it. This is place I would suggest going to and trying at least once. Is a four course meal for 2 is $99. And didnt seem so kid friendly. The vibe seemed geared more towards adults. Which makes it great for a date night or special occasion. Oh and they have a bar that also makes great mixed drinks also.

As a first-timer to fondue, I wasn't all too sure what to expect from flavors- whether everything I ate would simply taste overwhelmed by cheese. However, The Melting Pot does as excellent job of preparing delicious entrées that can hold their own even without a touch (or dunk) of their flavorsome cheese lava! It was so fun to try the results of dipping each of the complimentary appetizer selections (Granny Smith apple wedges, white and brown bread, carrots, and celery) into our little cheese cauldron. The apples surprised me as a favorite! We chose the Quattro Formaggio as our cheese of choice, and that stuff is so yummy (mild white cheeses infused with tempting scents of herbs and garlic), I 100% could've polished it all off even had there been only crackers provided. As it were, we were fortunate enough to be plied with the scrumptious options afforded by the Fondue in a Flash each of us ordered off the lunch menu. This allowed us to choose from a lovely assortment of meat skewers and salads. I genuinely loved everything I was served! My strawberry almond salad was fresh and tasty with a bright vinaigrette, and the skewers were all cooked to perfection- each wonderfully flavored with subtle herbs and sauces. The dinner prices are higher (but also come with dessert), so if you'd like to come for the experience without dipping into the wallet too much, I would heartily recommend coming for lunch first to try this place out! Having tried it once, I could definitely see myself coming back not only to try different cheeses and their chocolate fondue, but also for a truly solid meal all around! It seems almost misleading to think of The Melting Pot as a niche fondue place when it could've made money from just serving up its delicious meats and salads!

We love the meting pot and decided to try the OKC location on New Years Eve as a treat! The food and drinks were outstanding as usual! On the pricier end but totally worth the money, definitely visit with an appetite! Unfortunately, however, this was our least favorite experiences purely because of the service we received. For $69pp and 20% gratuity included due to it being NYE, we expected exceptional service or at least the usual good standard of service we have always had at TMP. This time, our server Michael L just did not seem to want to be there. At one point it was a good 20 minutes we went without seeing him and needing another round of drinks, meanwhile the table next to us had 4 visits from their server who was super friendly and giving them the service we’d expected. Even a bus boy came over before our server did, at which point we asked if he could send him over as we were done with our entree (which the server never checked in on after delivering) and really wanting drinks. Maybe he was having a bad day as the manager stepped in (we did not ask for one) to help, delivered another round of drinks and gave us a glimpse of what good service was. A warm, friendly personality and attention to detail that had been missing all night. If this was our first visit, we would be hard pressed to go back. Michael, I hope you enjoyed your $40 unearned tip that we had no choice but to pay. I will always recommend TMP for a unique dining experience, but maybe avoid this location during special events to be safe.

We went in for dessert and they weren't offering any. The decor and atmosphere felt amazing.

  • 5/5 Dallas M. 3 years ago on Google
My wife and I love the atmosphere. The food is great. we mainly stick with the Classic entree. just a nice array of steak, shrimp and chicken. You would think apples and hot, melted cheese wouldn't pair well but they are a match made in fondue heaven. I'm the grill master so the grated skillet is what I choose to cook with. We always spend over $100 whenever we go so it's not necessarily an "every week" kind of thing, however that's what makes it special!!

We never even got to go in!!! We looked up cute places to go on dates, and this place popped up. Me and my fianceé recently got engaged and wanted to do something really nice. It had great reviews so we drove 35 minutes and paid $5 for parking. When looking at the place online we checked for any new special protocols that might have been put in place for COVID. We didn't see any. We show up and there's a sign on the door about calling first, I'm willing to bend any way a business needs to bend in order for life to be easy during all this. So we call and a girl picks up saying that they can totally seat us, and someone would be right with us. We waited outside the door for about 10 minutes and no one showed. We left to go to crabtown instead, but here's the issue: as we were walking around i tried to see if we were at the wrong door. Empty restraunt. The other door said something like "Entrance on other side." And as im looking in, it looked a girl was standing at the door we waited at. Was it the whole time? We don't know. We don't wanna assume anything and play any blame games. We read some of the other reviews about the staff having small issues, but decided not to let that sway us. Once again I don't really think that she waited for us to leave, it makes no sense. That's just how it looked. We went to Pearl's about 5 mins down the road instead. I was looking forward to Hot hot cheese!!
