So beautiful. I would suggest NOT going on a Sunday. I would have loved to enjoy more of the park but way to many photographers were out there. Baby bump pictures, cap and gown pictures, couples pictures, wedding pictures, they pretty much took over the park. I wish there were more places like this in Oklahoma. Great areas inside to also walk your dog. Lots of ducks, geese and turtles. Need more parking spots.

Absolutely love this place! It's like a little fairy wonderland good for picnics, reading, playing, memorial remembrance, meditating, or a good old cosplay/DND session.

We went to take senior pictures for my oldest son. This park is super well kept but still gives family vibes, like it's ok to have a dog and kids there. We will be going back to take family pics soon!!!

Beautiful park for a beautiful January day! I’m excited to come back when the plants and flowers are in full bloom. Free to get in with a decent amount of parking as well. I imagine this would make a great place for a wedding venue or party. Glad I got to see it!

Made a visit to the garden while visiting from CA. This place is huge and offers a variety of plant species as well as some local wildlife. It’s a nice place just to walk, get your steps in and disconnect for a bit. There were workers tending to the grounds while I was there and the garden is kept very neat and clean. There are restrooms in the information building that were nice and clean, as well as a drinking fountain with a spout to fill you water bottle.

The park is a very nice place to walk around. Looking at all the tiny houses makes the walk go faster and also a lot more fun. My wife and I loved the houses. I especially liked the condo. The key is can you find them all? Also the greenhouse is very neat to look in. Of course, you cannot forget to look at all the beautiful flowers and gardens. What a wonderful place to visit in OKC.

Beautiful expansive gardens but I wish they stayed open later than 5pm in the warmer months. In the summer I think they should be open until 8pm or 9pm. It would be great to be able to walk around the park with my family after work on the weekdays or spend some time there before a date. Having it open later would allow others to enjoy the gardens when it's not as blazingly hot outside.

Absolutely beautiful grounds and pretty well maintained. We did not get to see everything, yet definitely making another trip. Kids had fun with all the little Elf doors and houses, etc hidden around the grounds. It was a great day. Almost full Spring time and trees, flowers were blooming. Pretty awesome.

Will Rogers has all the features of a great park. A nice play area, gardens, flowers, trees, senior center and group park features and even an event area out of doors and an indoor event feature for weddings etc... One of the best parks in Oklahoma City

Paradise in the midst of the city. I went to exercise but was so taken by the beauty that I changed my plans and simply enjoyed the surroundings. Check out the whimsical birdhouses, Children's theater, Memory Garden, hummingbirds, and butterflies. Best of all, it's all free!

After a Sit And Stay vacation, it was so nice to be outside. The gardens were fragrant with Spring blooms, remarkable the gardens were well tended. Paths provided, areas to rest are available, people respected the 6' rule. Parking is free, entrance is free, wander the grounds or have a picnic or do both. The beauty of the gardens is welcome.

A charming utopia overflowing with botanical beauties. I popped into the cactus garden area on a whim. Then, after wandering for a bit, was invited to see the inner greenhouses. A very knowledgeable curator showed me their current projects. It felt like a unique private tour. I will be back to volunteer.

Since leaving and now returning with to visit family in the Metro area, I am discovering all the wonderful things the north side of Oklahoma City has that I never knew about growing up here. This is another one of those. It is a wonderful little place to go for a stroll. The buildings were closed on the day we were there (Christmas Eve, they are closed all city holidays), but the outdoor spaces were nice on such a pleasant December day. I am sure it would be an amazing place in the spring.

Beautiful, clean and refreshing. There are various sections to this garden. I spent the bulk of my time inside the building taking a Bonsai class. Time spent outside was to locate a nice colorful area for a photo shoot. There are many locations, and you can choose between greenery for background or colorful flowers or other background images such as the bridge, pond, pagoda etc.

Beautiful place! A lady said the sprinkler system was down so the plants were looking a little sad, but that did not take away from the experience. The iris garden was not in bloom, but that's ok, we will come back when they are! My only complaint is there isn't very much shade, but there are a couple places to get relief from the sun.

I just had my wedding at the Will Rogers gardens on a Saturday in November, and wanted to give a few warnings to those who will be also getting married there but may not know the same things I didn’t know until the day of. 1. Since this place is public, it has to remain open during the day. That means anyone can come in and congregate in the “lounge” area and homeless people use the restrooms. 2. Also, we had guests who couldn’t find a parking spot because there were so many people at the park in general. 3. Again with it being public, we had no way to secure our belongings in the rooms we were getting ready in while we were not in there. 4. People may be sitting right in front of the conservatory while you are doing your wedding. Or just walk in before when everything is set up even though you’re paying for it, and it’s closed to the public on the weekends. 5. Outlets outside do not work, so don’t plan on using them. 6. Volunteers put Christmas lights on the bushes and trees RIGHT before we were about to get in the conservatory. They even tried to tell us at 1:30 that we couldn’t go in there until 1, even though it was obviously passed 1. 7. Some staff were very nice, but others not so great. 8. We had to have people getting the random people out of the building, and finally had to ask a worker to put up signs that there was a private event, and it did not stop people. 9. There was another wedding in the conservatory that night, so there was a bride and bridal party getting ready in the bathrooms and walking around the lobby during my reception, with their guest also hanging out in there. With this being said, it was a beautiful wedding, but I would not do it there if I were to do it again.

This park is gorgeous and so enjoyable! Be sure to double check the hours before you head over though! They close extravagantly early for a park. There’s a lot of cool fish and birds that live in the park so it’s really relaxing to just sit and watch

  • 5/5 Crusty M. 3 years ago on Google
Just love it here. Very pretty and calm. It's very popular so there will likely be a lot of people taking group photos or prom pics when you go.

Up until just recently my wife and I used to come here often to play Pokemon go when they started doing the Community days and she would love to pick up rocks the painted ones you know, I think it's OKC ROCKS on Facebook. The beauty, peace, and serenity you get from just walking around in this park can really help clear your head if it needs to be or help you think and contemplate on a decision that's life-changing, not only for yourself but for someone you care very much for. I would definitely recommend this park to anyone because there are so many different activities you can do there . There is a tennis area, a swimming pool for summer hours, trails to walk on, Bridges to cross, not to mention the uncountable koi fish and beautiful flowers they plant and try to keep up with. I think my favorite time is when the roses come out. I don't like the bees but it reminds me of my grandmother. Oh I also forgot to mention that there is a playground area for the kids and frisbee golf. I won't hate on it cuz I've never tried it but I'm terrible with the Frisbee so I'll just watch at a distance

New to Okc....so we went on advice from photographer that this would be a great place for family Christmas pictures. She was definitely right. What a pretty little park with little ponds everywhere. Will definitely be back to explore more

This park is always fun to visit and offers lots of family oriented opportunities. Great disc golf course. I only wish it could be a little better maintained during the summer. The grass was rather long and going to seed. Otherwise, awesome place!!

Will Rogers is a beautiful and very well maintained park. During the Spring and Summer, you can walk through paths winding through the various types of flowers and greenery and during the fall and winter, although it can get chilly by the pond and bridge, there is plenty of natural sights, tasteful gazebos, bridges and arboretum's amongst the carefully manicured seasonal plants and flowers to be equally attractive and beautiful. My one complaint is that the Park closes quite early during the fall and winter. Although, as some of the paths follow natural rock formations and are thus somewhat tricky to navigate, this is rather understandable, albeit disappointing. On a side note, for Pokemon GO! Players, there are numerous Pokestops and Gyms. You can make a 10-15 minute circuit around the park and never run out of Pokestops with at least 4 Gyms along the path. Will Rogers is a beautiful park, and I would highly recommend visiting it, especially during the early evenings. There is plenty of parking and several public restrooms, as well.

Beautiful parks! However the support and customer service leaves room for improvement. After going back and forth via email for a couple days trying to schedule time to meet. My fiancé and I decide to view the venue without the help of a parks employee to reduce the delay in further. The coordinator I had been speaking to neglected to mention that they day we had been negotiating on had been booked out from under us. So we spent an additional 3 days trying to meet this employee for no opportunity to book. Park is BEAUTIFUL, wish all the other experiences would have been able to match.

The gardens offer a wonderful place for a walk with those you love, or even some good places for alone time out in nature! The garden staff has always been kind to me. I helped out with mulching and planting a couple years ago and these folks are passionate and lovely to be around. Sat in on a class about mycology today which was a lot of fun!

Pleasant smaller garden. People were walking on short trails with their dogs. Weddings hosted here as well. It was neat to see some placards on trees in the arboretum so you could learn more about them. Only drawback was the freeway noise and bit of exhaust smell.

  • 1/5 Kara M. 7 months ago on Google
Would not recommend the conservatory for your wedding. There was no promised follow up leading up the wedding or in the hours before. I had to go find someone or call about any question. We spent $500 to rent air conditioners to learn the conservatory couldn’t close the windows. Miraculously they were closed soon as we walked out.
