This was my first time at Blue Note Lounge. As I entered, the atmosphere was casual, relaxing. The theme of music was Jazz night played by OCU alumni members. The bartender was so warm and attentive. Then I entered the back patio. My heart smiled as I was approached and welcomed with smiles and conversation by a few local patrons. I believe everyone who enters here..is welcomed..I'll be back!!😻

Cozy bar with free jazz nights on Sundays. Good prices on drinks, tasty cocktails, and amazing bartenders. If you play PokémonGO, there is a gym here and a stop in range with medium spawn rates.

The people here are very nice. Themisphere is very lively. There's always really good music in here. The staff are friendly and professional The live music they have helps keep the place very lively. Everybody there is really polite

Had a great time last night celebrating a couple things! I had been here previously ~4 years ago and it has been completely remodeled, it looks fantastic! Drinks were great all night, we played pool and darts. Live music Thur-Sun

Just saw Speak, Memory there. It was my first time back in that room since the remodel and it sounds far and away better than it did pre-remodel. Also much cleaner, but they managed to hang on to the old charm the Note has always had.

Sunday night Jazz is exactly how we wanted to end our weekend and the Blue Note provided that! The drinks were great and so was the service. Highly recommended on a Sunday.

Blue Note is probably the best dive bar in the city. Excellent service, talented bartenders, and a solid schedule of music and activities. They don't serve food, but they allow other food to be brought in and have partner restaurants that are close and will deliver.

I went to see Scott Wright from 92.1 Heart & Soul and The Direct Connect Band, and it was a lot of fun. Really laidback atmosphere. I plan to return for Funk Mondays and Jazz Night.

My friend sang jazz with her fellow musicians and it was fabulous! The drinks were great tasting, the atmosphere was fun 🌈 Highly recommend 🙏

Cool atmosphere! But me & my mom was there tonight & we was having fun talking & laughing amongst OURSELVES! But somehow that bartender (Heather) thought we was laughing at her..(??) Why I have no idea🤔 NO REASON TO LAUGH AT HER. BECAUSE SHE WAS SUPER NICE!! & FRIENDLY! WEIRD. BUT I had fun! Will be going back for sure! My mom told me she used to go there back in her day😚😚😚😚😘 WILL RETURN again!

This place is awesome. The people are the absolute best. Both the staff and the regulars were SUPER welcoming and very friendly. I highly recommend this place for a friendly or business meetup.

Bartender was not only gorgeous but also gave me earplugs and a shot after realizing I was staying with my parents for the night. 13/10 service would come back and tip her more.

Blue Note is where I go when I want to have a strong drink, meet some folks, and /or hear some great local punk/rock/indie/metal/jazz music. They offer nice variety within their punk"ish" niche. Whatever genre, I'm never disappointed by the music here! The Outside patio is patient friendly and while the inside is smoke free they allow vaping. The venue has recently been remodeled and looks much improved (love the restaurant style booths and low but not dark lighting) but without losing its original identity. The venue has a long history of representing a different side of the music scene in OKC and that hasn't been forgotten. The new stage was even built using pieces from the original stage that had become an icon of 23rd St., a symbol of the underground, and of place for the underdog.

Finally went to the blue note lounge. I was expecting an upscale jazz lab only to find more of a dive bar/speakeasy feel. I liked it. There were no waitresses so you had to go to the bar to get drinks but service was fast and the one drink I ordered (a mezcal cocktail) was excellent. The band was pretty bad so we didn't stay long but we bought tickets to a Rockabilly artist later this month and have high hopes for a good experience. We will definitely be going back.

This place is such a hidden gem! It’s been around for a long time but the new owners have really given it .. the kick it needed to turn it into something fantastic! Shows are amazing here.. and they serve food now! Super Plus!

We went to this club expecting jazz music since that is what they advertise. We asked the door man if the jazz/blues band was good that night and he said yes. We paid the ridiculous cover charge, went in, found a seat and started trying to have a good time. If I pay a cover charge for a venue that seems clean and has decent seating and clientele, one would think that they would have at least one person that is making sure everyone is having a good time and offering drinks. Nope...that didn't happen. We listened to the opening band and they were pretty good..country music (which I like) but not jazz/blues. The headliner came on stage and not only was it not jazz/country...they were awful. The opening band was MUCH better than the headliner. After having my ears assaulted by bad country music, we left. The door man said I thought we were friends when we left and was just plain rude to my husband! Unless you enjoy paying a cover charge with no waitstaff and bad live music I would avoid this place!

Craft cocktails, real glassware, love the patio. The bartender was a badass. The stage during Karaoke, makes you feel like a STAR!

The Blue Note has become one of my favorite places to see shows. The sound is better than most other smaller venues (and even better than a few of the larger ones). They have a wide variety of bands and events to keep things interesting. The Sunday jazz is a must for anyone who enjoys live music! Their drink and ticket prices are reasonable and they have a good variety of non-alcoholic beers and mocktails for people who are not drinking. The staff is amazing and still remain friendly even when it is packed. I always feel safe and welcome here!

I was majorly impressed with the aesthetic and atmosphere of this place. It took a long time for the music to start (1.5 hours from 8pm arrival) but otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

The remodel is amazing and really transformed the place, although longtime visitors can still easily feel at home. Bigger stage, back patio area is huge and has heaters + TV. One of my favorite bars, especially after the Fry & Hilo closed

The damn quails show was awesome as usual. It had been awhile since last visiting the blue note, the place is great,clean and friendly. The staff very efficient, competent and friendly. We will be back.

This bar is a classic favorite. Recently remodeled; great specials, enclosed smoking area, dog friendly, a nice pool table etcetera. I've been going to this bar for over 20 years and it's always been on my top 3.
