The Pump Bar

Bar Bar and grill

👍👍 A small walk from the arts district led us to this absolute gem of a place. This dog friendly bar and cafe is a salad bowl of different expressions all sharing in a moment of joy and beer-full bliss. We met locals and travelers while we stopped on our road trip, and everyone was down to pet the pup.... People often mention great, good, drinks, drink,

Atmosphere great, food great drink selection great! The automatically added 20% gratuity to the bill regardless of quality of service not great! And have the audacity to keep the tip line on the bill! Won't be back.

A small walk from the arts district led us to this absolute gem of a place. This dog friendly bar and cafe is a salad bowl of different expressions all sharing in a moment of joy and beer-full bliss. We met locals and travelers while we stopped on our road trip, and everyone was down to pet the pup. It made me want to stay and spend more time. Great beer, food, music and energy. This is a good time place and definitely worth the stop!

Great patio outdoor & inside retro bar with light bites. I love the prickly pear cocktails here!

Pet friendly patio, great drinks and good food! I ordered the Buffalo chicken quesadilla to eat, as well as the Sugar 'N' Spice and Reproductive rights(super cool they support this cause! This is the drink in the picture) and Black Betty drinks. Quesadilla was 11$ and drinks were 8$ a piece so decently priced and I was actually really impressed with the food! It was really good for something I assumed would be "just something I ordered at the bar." All in all, great little place! You know they're local, support good causes, and decently priced. Mix that with the pet friendly patio? A+ for me!

Wanted to give it a try but website said 20% gratuity added to the ticket which is by all means their right but I'm not going to be forced to tip when I already planned on it. I'll just eat and drink else where oh ya and leave a good tip because I wasn't forced to lol

Okay this is so weird because I've been here before and had a great experience but last night was not it. My boyfriend and I ordered a total of four drinks and they were all so bitter and frankly disgusting we took about two sips and couldn't stomach it. I'm not sure if our bartender was new or what but they were seriously the worst drinks I've ever had at a bar period. My boyfriend wouldn't let me go confront the staff about it, but yikes they were terrible. I'm sure it was a fluke but choose your bartender carefully folks

Minus the automatic gratuity charge which I think is insane, this place is awesome. Great variety of people. The food was good. And great customer service. Ps. Whomever owns this bar needs to stop the auto gratuity.

If you're looking for a good atmosphere for a first-time date or just to hang out with friends, drinks are pretty good. They have good reasonable pricing for the drinks. Especially the $6 shot and beer special. They don't really have a variety of food selection, but it's fair for a bar. The outside games are fun.

Wasn't alot of people there for a weekend so that was nice. Had never been here befor. Decent bar layout. Fire pit doesnt work. Food tasted like salt and greese and nothing else. Even with a small crowd it took about an hr and fifteen min to get food to us. If you live close and want an expensive drink, sure. Other than that. I'd avoid.

I went on a Monday but I didn't catch the Karaoke. I got the black Betty cocktail and fried flatbread tacos and I have never been so satisfied with both flavor and portions in a taco!! Place your order at the bar, get a number and sit anywhere you want, they bring the food to you. Outdoor games available, lots of seating, pet friendly, music playing. It's a vibe!

The wings were bland and the cheesecake didnt have enough crust. I also ran into a chunk of salty cream cheese while eating the cheese cake. But the environment was cool.

What used to be a great spot for a patio beer has now turned into a strange environment. The new staff seems to be stoned out of their minds. I also normally get charged extra on my tabs and the $10 minimum is not ideal. What used to be one of the best bars in OKC has now become “meh.” I would recommend the pump as a last resort if you’re wanting to go out with friends.

So this was a last minute dinner decision. We just happened to pick a good night for outside dining. The Pump provided the perfect spot on what was a warm autumn night. The laid back outdoor atmosphere was conducive to conversation and made unwinding with a cocktail easy. The reason we ventured out was dinner, not sure bar food would hit the mark we were presently surprised with the taco Tuesday selection. Everything was delicious. The two young men working the bar were awesome, displaying patience and attentiveness. In a nutshell... go have a drink you'll be glad you did.

First of all, they do not serve Michelob, there is an official sign that I'm sure all the inebriated folks like myself ignore/d. The bartenders seemed pretty busy and we're short and to the point. There's plenty of seating, there was a fancy ping pong table that I found enjoyable. The restroom was a little creepy, but on the interesting side. They were playing an audiobook of Harry Potter I believe... I'm not sure how I felt about the boracho nachos. There were tons of chips, some cheese, but something was lacking.

Great hang out!! Not a fan of the Black Betty, maybe because of the mint, not my favorite. But one of my favorites to go to.

This was so much fun, it was laid back and relaxing. The bartenders were so funny and so nice, they gave so many suggestions on great liquor. Me and my girlfriend are definitely coming back!

I’ve been here what seems like a million times and I’ve always had fun. Also…Jordan (like the river), if you see this please know that you’re the best. We all love you and anytime I pull up I get wildly excited to see you.

Insanely cool space with a great outdoor vibe, complete with roaring fire pit and overhanging lights. I deduct a star only because both beers I had on tap were super flat and seemed almost syrupy, maybe it was the end of the keg for both beers but it didn’t ruin the vibe!

I have had excellent service, drinks, and food every time I have come to The Pump. Most recently, I was having a hard time picking out a cocktail, and the owner gave me a complimentary Dirty Harry. It was delicious! I love blueberry and this drink hits the spot. Actually everything here I have tried hits the spot, and it’s affordable. I have had 2 or 3 drinks and quinoa tacos all under $20 before:) I love that the patio is pet friendly too.

Excellent staff, good prices and strong drinks on the menu. Plenty of outdoor seating area. Definitely one of my favorite hangout bars in the metro

I have been here countless times and only once did we have any kind of issue. There was a chewing tobacco packet floating in my beer when the waiter set it down. We all saw it together and they apologized profusely and didn't charge for the drinks we had. That was probably like 3 years ago now. Otherwise it's been great. My friend broke a glass and drunkenly tried to pick it up and sliced their finger open and bled everywhere and they were chill with it 😅
