While
over
the
years
I
have
had
enjoyable
times
and
in
the
past
had
found
the
club
open
to
different
people
and
lifestyles.
Tonite
I
was
denied
entry
by
a
very
unsavory
security
person
who
said
as
a
man
I
was
not
allowed
into
the
club
with
open
toed
shoes.
While
I
was
being
denied
entry
for
sandles
that
I
wear
24/7365.
I
have
heavy
work
boots
and
lace
up
uniform
boots
and
a
single
pair
of
leather
lace
up
dress
shoes.
I
wear
sandles
in
freezing
weather
with
snow
on
the
ground.
I
do
not
even
own
closed
toe
shoes
other
than
work
boots.
As
I
was
denied
entry
several
women
we
allowed
into
the
club
with
open
toes
and
one
was
even
in
flip
flops.
They
were
allowed
in
but
as
a
man
I
was
discriminated
against.
I
specifically
asked
the
security
person
if
I
was
transgenic
and
showed
up
in
a
dress
and
open
toe
heals
if
I
would
be
allowed
entry
and
was
told
that
no
because
I
was
an
anden
are
not
allowed
to
wear
open
toes.
I
am
a
retired
Firefighter/Paramedic
and
over
the
many
years
have
run
a
nber
of
emergency
calls
inside
this
dive.
I
have
aways
in
the
past
interacted
with
a
on
duty
manager.
I
asked
to
speak
to
that
parson
ad
was
told
no
the
security
person
would
not
get
the
manager
on
duty
because
he
didn't
have
to.
I
asked
where
this
supposed
dress
code
was
posted
so
someone
might
know
about
it
before
being
denied
entry
however
no
dress
code
is
posted
in
the
club
or
on
a
website
or
social
media.
It
is
simply
not
posted
at
all.
I
am
surprised
that
a
club
known
to
be
inclusive
or
those
people
who
practice
alternative
lifestyles
would
actively
discriminate
against
anyone.
But
that
was
certainly
what
happened
and
when
questioned
about
it
both
the
woman
taking
the
cover
charge
as
well
as
the
unsavory
security
person
that
both
stated
that
yes
this
type
of
discrimination
as
well
as
that
toward
tansgender
persons.
