I was shocked at how bad this experience was ! Completely not worth the price - extremely tiny portions is an understatement. (See photos I’m attaching). In a 6 course menu which costs essentially $300 for two people one of the courses was literally a single piece of naan bread ! I’ve been to so many multicourse, award-winning restaurants. No one does a bread course as part of the courses ! On top of that it -was kind of stale and awful. We didn’t know whether to laugh or just get angry. Then another other course was a single piece of asparagus, cut into small bites, followed by a course that was a single broccolini floret fried ! The one dish that was the best flavor was the short rib bison but it was a tiny 2” x 2” square again see the pictures I’m honestly shocked this restaurant is able to get away with this- not just tiny portions for this type of price but also some of the decisions made on what to serve I’m not exaggerating we are literally on our way to get dinner at a fast food joint just so we could not feel hungry.

Local food is the star at this meticulously curated dining experience. There is a story behind each selection of course offering and your palate will be introduced to flavor combinations you didn't know you needed. Both alcoholic and non alcoholic drink pairings are offered and were fantastic compliments to the cuisine. Too often, food that is pretty lacks in flavor or is too busy, but Nonesuch uses restraint and creativity in a perfectly balanced way to make each of the individual course components work together in a result that leaves you speechless in awe.

It doesn't look like much walking past, but once inside you're greeted warming and taken to your seat at the bar. Once you're seated, they begin serving you the most delicious 10-course meal. My tastebuds are so happy! We left full and extremely happy!!

I surprised my husband on his birthday with dinner at nonesuch and it was worth every penny! We did the wine selection, at first we thought that they forgot to switch wines, as they served the same for the first few courses. Then we finally asked if they were going to serve other wines and they said that they were on the following course. There could’ve been a little explanation of the wine course ahead of the game. But the experience was pretty good overall.

Nonesuch is SUCH AN AMAZING restaurant. I have celebrated my birthday (21st, 23rd) here twice now and every experience is superb. The employees are super kind, respectful, and professional. The food is SO flavorful and unique to each season with all ingredients based in Oklahoma. They have dynamite flavors, stunning colors, and delectable desserts. They get to know you a little bit as well, which adds to the experience. I am so proud to be raised an Oklahoman and have this exquisite of a restaurant in my hometown. For each plate, since the servings are not large, I savored every single bite and enjoyed every bit of it. They made my birthday extra special this year, and I can't wait for next year. Even the plates and dry decor is beautiful. Come here for an amazing Oklahoman experience that will make you feel so happy. Thank you nonesuch.

Took my wife out tonight to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I had heard of Nonesuch and was eager to give it a try. You book a reservation online and you must prepay for the reservation with gratuity included at 18%. You’ll be given wine pairing or drink pairing options for an up charge. Make sure you’ll actually be able to attend your reservation! Small venue so they rely on them being filled. The door was opened for us upon arrival and our coats were also checked. Was introduced to the staff and given a brief overview of what to expect for the evening. It is an intimate setting yet the seating is around a horseshoe shaped bar top. The kitchen is open view to where you’re seated and can watch as they work. Quite unique. The staff does an amazing job keeping you taken care of and I never saw my water cup half empty. The waiters and cooks will take turns going over the dish that they are serving you and will answer any questions you may have. They had a nice wine pairing option with great wines throughout the dinner. 10 course set menu and we maybe didn’t enjoy 1 dish of the 10. Small portions, but you end up full at the end for sure! We got to enjoy a relaxing evening with great drinks and outstanding food! Will definitely return, however I’ll have to save up a little as it is not cheap. Well worth it in my opinion! At the end of dinner they give you a print out of the menu you just enjoyed and the wines you drank if you did the wine pairing. Nice touch!

The is the best dining experience in Oklahoma. Each unique dish has a story behind it from foraging seasonal ingredients to childhood nostalgia. Such as the Bison with Smoked Cheddar paying homage to beef and cheese sticks. The wine pairing adds a extra layer that compliments and elevates the food. Nonesuch is comparable to some of the best restaurants been to in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I highly recommend this place.

We expected the food to be top-quality, but we were still blown away by the quality and creativity. Our server and chef were fun and knowledgeable. Do set aside 2-3 hours for this experience. We decided on the private room since we had a party of 6. It is a “hidden” room with a tranquil vibe. I would highly recommend it. The uniqueness of the cocktails were especially fun.

First time going to a restaurant like this. Everything was delicious and I can't imagine what goes into the preparation. Take your time do not devour the food. We did the 6 course no drink pairings and left satisfied - not full but not hungry. Worth the money. The chefs deserve it!

The food is excellent (though not wildly extraordinary) and they're trying hard to cultivate a fine dining atmosphere, but they're just not there yet. The staff was friendly but awkward, the presentation rushed and the silverware spotty. I did very much enjoy the well-chosen nonalcoholic pairings, which are so often an afterthought in such places, but at this price point I want more to wow me.

If you're on the fence and you're into fine dining, take the plunge. Beautifully-plated, delicious dishes all throughout. They ran a turnip dish that was dusted with mushroom salt, and it tasted how summer feels - warm, earthy, and involved a little extra work that you maybe weren't sure you were gonna enjoy but totally did. Topped off the fantastic tasting menu experience with a really fantastic take on an Old Fashioned, and my beverage extraordinaire went light on the chili oil for me after I expressed some hesitation. It was the perfect amount - thanks! Extra big thank you to Ian for accommodating my last-minute reservation change due to the extremely long drive being made longer by slowdowns on I-40 from Albuquerque. That extra 30 minutes made a world of difference to me, my friend. One other thing I noticed that I wanted to share was that I don't think there was a person on staff when I went who was over 35. I cannot express exactly how awesome it is to see a crew of capable, young people killin' it in the kitchen like this. Keep it up! Hope to visit again one day. <3

An outstanding expression of neoteric American finding inspiration from fusion elements of French, Japanese, Korean, German and molecular cuisines. Precision execution from the kitchen and wait staff alike. Loved the balance of acid, salt, crunch, sweet and savoury, but also the extensive use of fermentation in food menu. Worth coming back time and time again to see the changing seasons.

We had an incredible evening at nonesuch. The name is very fitting, as the courses were quite excellent. The service is top notch and the food was created with passion by outstanding chefs. It’s a place you must experience yourself!

This was our 12 year anniversary and it will be the most memorable date night we have ever had. If you want to mark a special evening with an unforgettable dining experience, there is no better place. We talked the whole way home about this course and that. It reminded me of leaving a museum and talking about the various pieces of art and how each was striking in its own way. The wine pairings were excellent, and I’m so glad we chose to include them. We had follow up questions on every course and the team was quick to give more detail or research the answers and follow up. We can’t imagine a better experience.

All of the employees at Nonesuch kept masks on and wore gloves. There were large plexiglass dividers between each couple. We felt very safe. The food was also amazing, particularly the carrot sorbet, peppercorn encrusted bison tenderloin with white cheddar foam and the grilled broccoli with tasty paste. YUM!!!

I didn’t take any photographs of the delicacies, but ooohhhhh my goodness lemme tell ya…it was the first time in my life that food and drink had me legit thanking God to be alive. I reserved for the 10 course tasting menu with premium wine pairings and spring water, and it was worth every single hard earned dollar. Everyone was delightful there, and the simple elegance of the secretive feel of the place was really cool as well. I most certainly will be returning to this diamond dusted golden nugget of a restaurant. Next I bring my 2 Foremen and my son for Christmas! I’ll take food photography then, I promise! 😂

Innovative, amazing and delicious. The food and wine pairing was clever and spot on. Each course was full of distinct flavors leaving you excited for the next. The servers were very informative and attentive. We highly recommend this dinning experience.

Nonesuch is a high end small restaurant experience. If you have ever sat at a Chefs Table it is similar. The food is not prepared completely in front of you but you can see it prepared. Our experience was a 10 course tasting menu. It is farm to table food. The experience was excellent. The best way to describe the theme for me was floral. I would highly recommend if you enjoy tasting many flavors.

I do not like to leave negative reviews however when you are spending $$$$ I feel it is important for others to know you will be let down if you are looking for a fine dining experience with amazing flavors. The food is very bland, lacks flavor and texture. The consistency of fat throughout our pork varied between the 4 of us. The amount of flowers used with each dish was beautiful but it would have been nice to have flavor with the presentation. My husband and I travel and have eaten at several Michelin star restaurants which is why I am in shock nonesuch was rated so highly. I want to be proud of our local restuarants and be known for having amazing food in Oklahoma and the chief was so kind and passionate I didn't have the heart to tell him it lacked flavor. The staff is also very kind and attentive so instead of looking at this review as negative I hope it will be viewed more as a learning experience to increase the flavor and texture of each dish.

My wife and I, having eaten at many michelin star restaurants when traveling abroad, And just being foodies in general were extremely excited to Visit the hottest new restaurant in America. Visual appeal 5/10 Visually the food is beautiful however it lacks certain elements on many of the dishes. The plain cutlery and Bowls made of local pottery did not mesh well with a $500 meal. Texture 2/10 Extremely disappointing. The chicken texture was as if it was from a can and the 1st course cookie was too hard to bite into, I literally looked at my wife on the very 1st course and we both had the same look on our faces. Every dish lacked crispness and/or some sort of texture to offset the soft elements that every michelin star restaurant is renowned for. Taste 2/10 I feel like I'm beating a Dead Horse so I won't go into depth too much but the asparagus ice cream mixed with What I believe to be pickled asparagus and fresh asparagus was absolutely hideous. My wife's pork was 80% fat however mine was 80% meat... there is little consistency in the cuts of meat from our anecdotal evidence. Pretty much all 10 courses were bland and/or unappealing for the $50 per dish price. Price 1/10 I would be happy to pay $5 a course however $50 is extravagant. Wine pairing 8/10 Excellent wine pairing, the sommelier should be given much credit here. We were only served white wine, champagne and Vermouth however it paired extremely well with the food. Service 9/10 Exceptional staff, extremely helpful extremely passionate. We talked with Chef and he was extremely passionate about what he did. I did not have the heart to tell him that we disliked the vast majority of his dishes. You could tell that he was so passionate that this would crush him. We complimented his food and politely left. Overall 3/10 or 2 stars on Google. There are far better restaurants in Oklahoma and certainly America. I'm not quite sure how this was voted best new restaurant in America. I would love to see chef visit a few michelin star restaurants throughout Europe and come back with a fresh approach.

One of the best dinner services of my lifetime. I highly recommend nonesuch to anyone who is at least moderately adventurous with their taste palate. A very thought-provoking culinary experience & I appreciated that each menu item wasn't overly done or fussy - the main components really shined through. The smoked corn custard was one of our favorite courses of the evening & each wine pairing complemented & brought an even more depth of flavor to each dish. I'd love to experience this again & again if I lived in Oklahoma.

This is not a restaurant it's an experience! And a wonderful one at that. Each course has a drink pairing either alcohol or Non-alcohol, your choice. The food was beautiful and delicious. Don't let the small size fool you, I promise you will be full and satisfied when you leave. Very unassuming dishes, executed perfectly. The staff are very friendly and enjoy their job as evidenced by the pride that you can see radiating from them. Wear what you want, but dress up a little bit and feel good about yourself. Thursday 10/27 will be a guest cheft, Mathew Meeker. If you've never been to Nonesuch, Thursday night would be a great night to give it a try. I'll be there to support the local restaurant community as well as the guest chef!!! I hear he is FABULOUS!!!

What a fantastic experience. Twelve wonderful tasting courses, each better than the one before. The food was excellent, all grown locally, the liquid pairings were very good, and the service was impeccable. What a great two hours. I am already making plans for a return trip.

This was an absolute amazing dining experience! We did the wine pairing with eleven courses. It was a tasty, flavor-filled delight. The service was impeccable, and the whole staff was a pleasure. I'm pretty speechless afterwards, so I shall let the photos I took do the talking.

If nonesuch has a million fans, I am one of them. If nonesuch has ten fans, I am one of them. If nonesuch has no fans, I am no longer on the earth. Everything about this place is so thoughtful. Staff makes you feel right at home. The food-stories are creative and captivating (yummy, too!). The chefs are all geniuses. I've never experienced a restaurant like this.

My teen daughter said to me tonight, you know you always watch the judges on tv judge the prepared dishes...and how their palette was so diverse. Like how could this be? She understood tonight and so did I!! Nonesuch prepared dishes with such skill and taste, that it opened my mind to things I didn't like or have been afraid to try. The use of ingredients complimented each other so well. Our experience: Staff-we were greeted immediately and a kind gentleman opened the door for us and showed us to our seat. The staff was very tentative and answered questions as the courses went on. They also did a great job of explaining what each dish was thoroughly. I also loved that the chefs came out as well and delivered some of the dishes. Atmosphere-Moody. Dark walls...leather chairs....so cozy and intimate Food- I am just going to give a highlight of what we had. I have never had chicken liver mouse until today. I opened my mind and received this beautiful bite of savory. Definitely one of the most flavorful of the dishes I had. The hot potato salad was so elevated. I am still thinking about it. I could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Then handmade pasta with squash, browned butter, sage and pecans was a beautiful marriage of ingredients that needed each other. Simple and beautiful. The cinnamon and plum tea with the canele was such a fun dish. You just wanted to cozy in on a rainy day and read a book while you were eating it. My bison was simple and beautiful. The milk bread with salt on top was a beautiful compliment. The intermezzo of onion ice cream and caviar was so different and out of the box. It literally set your pallet up for the next dish. My daughter's favorite dish was the chawanmushi soup. She loved how the egg had a flan like texture and the soup was so flavorful. Negative... we would have liked to have something other 3 ice creams. They were different, but two were back to back. It would have been nice to have a different desert course and only desert ice cream. The other was, the chairs were comfortable to sit in, but for a short girl...they were hard to get in and out of and we noticed you could rock back in them when leaning on the back of the chair. This kind of made us feel unsafe although they were stable. These negatives did not take away from the beautiful experience we had and highly recommend going here. They were more so just a critique from a short girl and personal taste. :)

I've only been to Nonesuch once, but it was a great experience! The staff was friendly and the chefs would come out and explain their creations which I loved as it added more to each dish that wasn't just the taste. The food itself was amazing with the only disappointing dish being the quail only because it wasn't as unique as the other offers, though it still tasted great. I would recommend coming here for the food, experience, and good company! Just be sure to beat everyone else getting a reservation 😜

An outstanding establishment in the heart of downtown OKC. Every single person on staff was kind & knowledgeable. Top-notch! The food presentation, creativity, and taste was truly unique and delicious. The atmosphere was calming, the music was at a good volume & very zen-like. Everything was perfect & we can't wait to go back in September when the menu changes!

Thoughtfully procured menu, incredible ambience, and a welcoming team of people. Attention to detail was unlike any restaurant I’ve been to, and their passion for the dishes they create really shines through their presentation and explanation of each dish. Service is OUTSTANDING! They are super covid friendly. Take that as you will...We hated the beverage selection and wish we wouldn't have spent the extra money so four stars for that. Food was OK this time. The first time I went was MUCH better. I would give 3 stars for this menu but gave four because of last menu. Good news is they have a new menu frequently.

This is easily my favorite dining experience I’ve ever had. I’m looking forward to returning as soon as I can. My girlfriend and I enjoyed every dish and the view of the kitchen. As someone with back pain, I can say the chairs were surprisingly comfortable for me. We’ve both traveled a lot and love food— and we agree this is the best place we’ve been to. We love how the menu changes seasonally and each chef has their own specialties. The service was 5/5, just as each dish was, too. Each chef and staff member was extremely polite, we felt comfortable and welcomed. I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates unique and flavorful food.

Delivery, presentation, flavor and staff were excellent. My only concern is that they're paying top dollar for sub-par pottery. Tell your potter to compress their clay! There shouldn't be voids on the bottom. O_o

This is a hidden gem given most wouldn’t expect such a unique and special place in downtown Oklahoma City. Everything down to the plates and decorations was locally sourced. The entire experience was out of control amazing. Every single bite was heavenly. The wine pairing made the entire meal 10x better. I'd come back any time I’m in Oklahoma City.

Ok lets get to the food and why you're actually reading this. It's a 10 course tasting menu and the to me the appetizers was very innovative, unique, and it hit the taste buds like i've never tasted before. Something brand new if you will. Hands down the best dining experience I've ever had. Food was all delicious, although some dishes stood out more than others. Most notably the broccoli, bison, and carrot sorbet were the best to us. My wife couldn't stop giggling at the taste of the carrot sorbet, just because it was so unexpected and delicious, she said it was life changing. Dining staff was super helpful and friendly and answered all of our questions very well, or went out of their way to get the information if they didn't know. Wine selection paired well with each dish.
