Such a cozy little spot. Drove from Kansas City for a book signing. The candles they have going are amazing! We loved the kids area. The best part is the coffee shop attached to it. Hands down the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had! They were so sweet to us and I will definitely come back!

Contains mostly coffee table books for Karens to read and lecture you via word diarrhea. The store's layout and the interior design are pretty cool. So kudos for that. The books here are almost all non-academic level or currently trending. Mainly they sell books with cool cover design to make these hipsters feel like they are about gain wisdom at a galactic level.

Great bookstore! This is a must visit when visiting OKC. While the selection is limited, the care and effort put into the catalog shows. The kids section is unlike any other in the city. The employees are very friendly, and the store is extremely inviting. Would definitely recommend!

Loved this spot. When traveling, I always try to find and support a local bookstore. This place is worth a stop. Buy a book and then head to their Cafe to dive into it.

I didn’t need any books today but I always need a bookstore. The shop smelled so good when I walked in that I bought some of the candles they were burning. I’ll be back when it’s time for a new book.

I am so glad I found this cute book store. As soon as I walked in I fell in love. I love how the store smelled so good & how some candles were lit. Also, I liked how friendly the staff are & I felt welcomed. I will definitely be back ☺️ Ooh I forgot to ask if there was any true crime book but I will ask next time.

This is an inviting little bookstore in midtown Okc. It's in a convenient location right by some eateries and coffee shops. The bookstore itself is small but a nice stop for a quick browse.

5 stars for a gem of a place. We love Commonplace Books. We frequently visit as a family and love the variety of books for both us, and our young children. The ambiance is welcoming and warm- complete with candles and soft music. I wish my house was as soothing as Commonplace!

Driving across the country my friend & I stopped here looking for a Bible. They were currently out, but we decided to hang around for a second because the vibe was solid. We had some rad convos with the Manager Jacob. Definitely a hot spot to check out!!

Absolutely loved the vibe I got in this place, very comfortable light and airy. The people were super friendly and they have a free rewards program. They knew people by name when they walked in the door and were very knowledgeable! Would totally reccomend as a go to spot!

One of the coolest—if not—the only book store that carry the current, contemporary book listing. There’s art book, coffee table book, wanderlust photo book, graphic novels, books about tea, A24 newsletter, books about Bauhaus models, etc etc. If you’re into trendy, artsy, contemporary pieces, then this bookstore is for you. The space is super comfy, with huge mid-century sofas to read and ponder to at the center. I think they also have a cafe next door. What a homey space! Treat yourself a comfortable evening and drop by Commonplace bookstore when you’re around Midtown, OK. There are lots to look around and maybe carry home with you!

Normally I like this place but the new layout is not it. All the comfy reading chairs are gone. Less shelving to make room for a giant cashier table. It feels like they're moving their focus more towards gifts, not books. And that's disappointing. They usually have a stack of free books and you can take one with your purchase, but on my last visit it wasn't there. I hope that doesn't mean they're not doing that anymore. It's the biggest reason I go here. Sorry for the harsh rating, I'm just bummed out.

Cute! Love the layout and how inviting it is! Plenty to peruse and plenty of places to sit and linger. Definitely want to come back for a date at the adjoining eatery! Parking is easy across the the street and there’s a cute outside sitting area as well as seen in pic shared.

What an incredible place. Wow. When we walked in, we thought “we’ll just take a look around and go on with our day.” We ended up sitting there for 2 hours. The girl who owns/runs the place was so friendly and helpful, and offered so many suggestions of places to go and see in Oklahoma City! The atmosphere was so cute and aesthetic. There was so much room to sit and meet with people and talk. It was such a sweet space that really fostered good community. The books were so diverse and beautifully organized. I found a book by my most favorite poet there. I am so thankful. If you’re in the area, stop in. Stay a while. Buy some books!! Get some cards, notebooks, pottery. It’s so worth your time!!

This is one of my favorite places to visit. The staff is amazing and helpful and several comfortable places to sit and toys for your kids as well. If they do not have the books you want they can order it for you. There are also two awesome coffee shops near by.

One of our favorite spots in okc! Both their stores are great places to find a full selection of great contemporary books and beautiful versions of classics.
