9.6 miles to ride your bike all around! Good exercise and was it pretty! Nice trails. Would he nice if the people walking would walk on one side when bikers are on the trail too. Popular place and I can see why. Next time will try for 2 laps.

There is around a 10 mile lap around Hefner lake to run, ride bikes, and this park is where the your adventure begins. This park is south east of the lake off Grande, east of portland and highway 74. It has the dog park, baseball fields and a basic place to picnic and play area. Lake Hefner is a great place to boat, watch the sunrise, sunset, fish(catfish, all kinds of bass, suprisingly good walleye) good restaurants on (Britton rd), take your kids to the parks( one on each side of the lake).

The only bad thing I can say is trash cans were few and far between and all were overflowing. It may be COVID related...? Beautiful walking trail around the lake. Kids everywhere. Dog Friendly. Restaurant on the water. Lighthouse.

This could be a cute park, but it's not being well-maintained. The grass is high and it needs new mulch. It's muddy because of the mulch situation. We came in the morning on a weekday. I drove through a questionable looking neighborhood to get to the park. On top of it, we arrived being the only people around. The situation did not make me feel too comfortable and we didn't stay long.

This was our first time back to the park since they updated the “membership” requirements. Super disappointed, because I always offered a donation of whatever I had in hand. To ask for $120 a year, just doesn’t seem right. All they are offering is a “clean and safe park”, no other benefits or offerings. I would gladly pay per visit or even make a donation. But to be required to have a membership is just a joke. They’ve definitely lost us as attendees.

We love this park, so much wide open space and several areas for my lil elf to play with other Lil elves. Great views at sunrise and sunset too. 😎👍📷🥏

This park has beautiful views and today it was 58° and somewhat windy. Lots of birds to see, many of which were huddled together like friends, even though they were different kinds of birds. I thought that was pretty cool.😎 Enjoyed walking the well maintained trails. My only complaint would be that someone in the city needs to empty the trashcans. They were all full. 😕

It’s 93 degrees outside and NONE of your drinking fountains work. Your park is 13 miles long. I almost passed out from dehydration. Get them working. No ones getting COVID from it. Dehydration or a heat stroke is more dangerous at this point

I went to take my dog to dog park! You have to be a member? Shame on you! My taxes pay upkeep on parks and you want more money? There were no forms I could fill out, no information on cost, and my dogs vet. has to fill out forms? Well I am appalled you would make a dog park for members only!

Beautiful and spacious park but it’s not open 24 hours. Park hours are 5am-11pm according to the sign that says park rules. Also the dog park is membership exclusive and will be locked to outsiders so just a heads up for those traveling with pets that are not from this area. Otherwise me and my fur baby walked the trails and had a nice time.

I love the location! By the water!! It is cozy and niceeee! Only problem was mosquitoes feasting on me! Sadly, they don’t have any bug repellent or anything to help! The food was amazing too, very well priced for the location! I will advice to book ahead though.

Very nice places. It has different sections for different activities. Some stupids smoke mari*uana next to the children’s playground which needs to be addressed.

Don't forget your bug spray! That is, unless being devoured by ravenous mosquito hoards that attack like ocean predators after a bait-ball while choking on the swarming gnats that kamikaze straight to the back of your throat with each of your exacerbated cries happens to be your thing. It is beautiful and peaceful as long as you shower in DEET before you go. The real DEET, I'm talking the 90% carcinogen, lymphoma inducing chemical shield.

A good place to stop and relax and look out over the lake. Some time's you have to stop to injoy life and Hefner Park does that.

It's a nice place for a walk or run, to exercise or just relax, there are good places to eat too like Louis for example.

Where a guy shot another’s dog because he thought he over stepped his boundaries. And I’ve had 2 beagles nailed by German Shepard’s being paraded in a circle by alpha women showing off their aggressive breed. Unfortunately for my dog one day a young woman was pulled over on her face and here pack attacked my dog. He was shaken and scratched but got over this days later. See recent NEW York Times article in Dig Parks good for you but not for dogs.
