We had a terrible experience with this hotel. We got stranded in Atlanta. We called the hotel multiple times and kept them apprised. They told us we would not be charged because of the flight issue. We had to stay overnight in Atlanta but hotel staff then was very rude and, of course, still charged us. They refused to reconsider. Never again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We had a belligerent guest fighting in the room next to us, yelling and banging the walls all night long. We contacted the front desk 4 times to try to get the situation handled. They basically brushed us off and nothing was done, not even offering to let us change rooms. We got absolutely no sleep at all and they refused to let me speak to management. I have attempted to contact management multiple times since leaving because I was so angry with this experience and he refuses to speak to me on the phone, always has an excuse on why he is unavailable. I understand that the hotel has no way of knowing which guests could become violent, but they handled this horribly. The hotel is right across the street from a busy country club so imagine this experience happens more often than not, but the hotel apparently does not care about other guests.

Nice ambiance, a little worn, but still a good comfortable, clean place to stay. No crowds. The pool needs cleaning and the jacuzzi was down for repairs. People are very nice. If you get to breakfast and they are out of anything then they will cook some more for you.

Room wasn't cleaned. The surfaces were dirty. The neighbours next to us spent the night fighting. Not sure why we were put next to anyone based on the fact there were under 5 rooms occupied that night. Not worth the cheap price. Go somewhere else.

Unique hotel, definitely being taken care of and renovated. Naturally some wear and tear as it's obviously an older building but as I said, work clearly being done! BIG room, like three times the size of the camper I call home, so that was wild! Standard hot breakfast, nothing show stopping but served in their beautiful lobby. Hot tub and sauna were cool albeit a little weird that everyone can see in but you can't see out. Could use some mood lighting. All in all a wonderful stay in a clean and quiet room.

I read reviews online and was not disappointed, especially for the price. Staff very friendly, our room with king bed was large, and everything was clean, No bugs anywhere. Lobby and atrium where breakfast served was clean! Traveling through and location was perfect for us. Didn't use pool or hot tub so can't commit on that, but was very pleased and would stay again. Recommend!! Other hotel near by were twice the price, but would take this one again over the chain brand hotel, very friendly and seemed to appreciate that we chose them! Oh, and hot breakfast with real food was nice for us.

The check-in process was efficient and friendly, with the staff going out of their way to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The room I was assigned exceeded my expectations in every way. By far, the best hotel I have ever stayed in my life, and would recommend this place to anyone reading this review. 10/10 highly recommend.

This is a nice place to stay if you're on a budget and don't want a lot of frills. Is a little dated and breakfast got old after 2 days, but staff were great and our room was spacious and had a separate living/kitchenette. We would stay again if it was for a day or two and I brought my own shampoo, soap, etc. Overall all a good experience.

A lovely older hotel. Indoor atrium with balconies, tropical trees, and skylights. Very clean, with friendly service. Very quiet: it rained hard enough at night for the groundskeeper to have to sweep up twigs and leaves in the morning, but we never heard a thing. And not very expensive. Glad we found this place!

Accommodation: through a third party just fine but what is really shady is when I have to pay an extra $80 plus the deposit, which I have yet to receive even though I left the room spotless. Cleanliness: the tenets do all the cleaning and they get everything clean especially your belongings, which they shouldn't be touching in the first place. Breakfast: felt really insecure with the tenets watching over my kids and my wife like i was limited to the servings. Checkout: felt rushed and not at my own pace. **this establishment use to be a go to place but now I'm assuming it's new management and it's gone down hill... really down hill. I would not suggest this place to a friend or a stranger.

My spouse and I have stayed all over the states. This was by far the best hotel experience we have had. From the very friendly staff at check-in, to the staff at breakfast. The pool, hot tub and sauna were open, which is rare for most hotels. They care about their property and it shows. Clean rooms, great showers and fair priced.

If u are a contractor don't get mixed up with these people. They do not pay their bills. Whenever I have someone do work for me then I'm prepared to pay them when they are done. Not these people. And won't even give u any idea when they will pay. Who does business like this. I see now why they can't get anyone to come out and work.

The room was very spacious. All the furniture, carpets, and doors are out of date. This is not only a cosmetic issue but also functionality issue. The door wiggled so much that when the wind came in, I thought someone was trying to break in. The outlets are not conveniently placed.

while the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the overall hotel is very clean. most of the staff are pleasant to deal with, the male night clerks in particular. The fact that your vehicle WILL probably get broken into and vandalize, as mine was, and then the customer service and assistance once vandalized negates any and all positive attributes or amenities. unless you are parking underneath the portico, assume your vehicle will be vandalized and pelfriched through. The poor security lighting and lack of security cameras speaks volumes to the hotel's interest and their priority of patrons.

Very nice spacious rooms with comfy beds and great AC. Loved that the pool was deep the only thing is wish they had lights in it. The hot breakfast options are awesome. Overall a nice experience I would stay again and the owner is always attentive.

Beautiful, vintage hotel with a terrific atrium in the middle. Comfy beds, smooth sheets, safe location, well lit free parking. Front desk staff was super accommodating and friendly upon check in! They have a gorgeous hot tub and free hot breakfast! Definitely a bargain and the hotel has a ton of character! Don’t know how they grew such huge trees but the landscaping and indoor gardens are gorgeous!!

Very spacious and clean room for the price! Bed was very comfortable and the pillows were decently comfortable. Breakfast had a decent selection of good food (waffles, eggs, bacon/sausage, biscuits & gravy, etc.). Hot tub and pool available but we didn’t use them.

It's shocking how amazing this hotel is. A lot of places want the high-end hotel billing, but cut corners in quality. This place is a true gem. Will probably come here whenever I need a local weekend break in the future. It is very beautiful, small, and has extremely helpful and efficient staff. Best of all, I am quite particular about sheets, &they have high thread-count percale cotton. Location is amazing, lots of excellent quality restaurants and things to do very close by. It's at the nice end of the airport hotels. Love it!

We stay here several times a yrar when visiting family. The breakfast is excellent and rooms are clean and spacious. Other hotels in this area are much higher for this level of quality.

The reason for the low rating is the shower at partial hot water, resulting in a cold shower. Otherwise a nice or great stay. The rooms are large, bed is comfortable and breakfast is nice. The hot tub is a nice way to end the day

We were delighted when we walked into Govenor's Suites. The lobby is welcoming and has a WOW factor. Our room was clean, large, quiet, the bed comfortable. I had a great night sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would choose this hotel again in a minute.

A little out of date, but this is a wonderful hotel. It is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good; eggs, biscuits, waffles, hash browns, and bacon. We enjoyed our stay so much.

Wow this hotel is beautiful, Clean, nice staff ,good breakfast what more can you ask for. Lots of charm in this hotel that you don't get with the bigger hotels that are loud super busy with a ton of people and just cold in and out service attitude. Idk why more people don't come to this hidden gem. They have a nice out door pool, steam room and a big in group hot tub to take the days stress away. Price is cheap as well. This is now my go to hotel when I'm in okc I'm so glad I found this place.

Always a pleasure - been staying here since 16 anytime we need a little staycation. They have the best breakfast and the friendliest staff. Also, it’s worth the extra for the executive suite - separate bedroom, king bed, sofa bed, whirlpool tub, full size fridge with a stove, mini coffee pot (not just a little single cup) & dining room table and chairs.

This was a hotel that I was unfamiliar with . I booked my room based on the positive reviews. Im so glad I did. This is an older hotel. Everything was clean and the front desk employees were wonderful. Will definitely be back. The lobby and breakfast were great. There are many plants ,some as tall as two stories. Beautiful and peaceful.

Disappointed. Bed uncomfortable. Pillows super firm and too thick. Bathroom exhaust fan is loud and runs continuously. The fan motor on the bedroom ac unit did not work. Furnishings/decor seem to be from the 60’s with obvious signs of wear - desperately in need of an update. Paid total of $351 for two nights, but I’m leaving after only one. Not sure how this facility rates 3 stars. It doesn’t measure up to other hotels with the same rating.

the hotel is old but it’s very well maintained for the price. They have automatic front doors and a very friendly front desk. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Air conditioner is modern and function properly. We are very pleased with our stay and will definitely recommend for those people who are in a budget and looking for a nice and clean rooms and good location.

This grand old gal is showing her age but still has a lot of gas left in the tank. I felt like I had been time warped back to the 80s when I entered the lobby. It has a great feel to it; a lot of character. It has not upgraded out the spirit of the 80s and I am HERE for it! Also the service is good, the breakfast is good and the pool is nice. You should bring your own pillows though--the ones here are way too flat. I highly recommend this place.

I LOVED the hot tub. I was surprised it was in a room with the sauna, usually its outside but they had a sauna. It was amazing and very hot which I LOVE! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms could be updated but it was good and surprisingly big. Standing in the tub felt like either I was going to fall through or like it had bubbles underneath the tub. Sorry, thats the best way to describe it. The bed was too firm for me.
