I
want
to
share
the
unpleasant
experience
I
had
on
Wednesday
upon
arriving
at
your
hotel.
The
receptionist
twice
gave
me
keys
to
occupied
rooms
and
a
third
key
to
a
room
that
was
dirty
and
disheveled.
I
found
this
highly
disappointing,
but
I
did
not
think
much
of
it
at
the
time.
However,
what
happened
this
morning
confirms
the
racial
discrimination
that
employees
sometimes
experience
when
they
are
not
adequately
prepared
to
serve
all
kinds
of
guests.
You
have
a
business
that
caters
to
anyone
who
needs
and
can
afford
it.
I
have
been
traveling
both
domestically
and
internationally
for
years,
and
I
have
never
felt
as
humiliated
by
a
hotel
as
I
did
at
3:00
am
when
it
seemed
like
someone
was
trying
to
enter
my
room.
I
saw
a
couple
and
a
hotel
staff
member
attempting
to
open
the
door.
I
informed
them
that
the
room
was
occupied.
Five
minutes
later,
they
knocked
again,
and
I
opened
the
door
to
find
three
police
officers
who
made
me
leave
my
room
to
verify
my
registration.
After
an
hour
of
the
employee
checking
his
computer,
it
was
confirmed
that
I
was
indeed
registered
with
both
my
company's
credit
card
and
my
own.
It
is
disheartening
and
embarrassing
that
a
hotel
affiliated
with
a
reputable
hotel
chain
would
treat
someone,
simply
because
they
are
Hispanic,
in
such
a
manner.
