Came here twice last year and would eat here everyday if I could! I ordered new things I haven’t tried before off the menu and everything was incredible. I think I could pick off the menu with my eyes closed and still enjoy whatever they serve.. the food is just such high quality and the flavors of each dish compliment each other. Not to mention, the service is always wonderful and friendly. Dreaming of my next meal here!

What a gem the Metro Wine Bar is. We are only in town visiting but as we were there it was amazing to listen to the staff greet many of the regulars by name and the staff was unbelievably attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Cedar Plank Salmon and the Pork Tenderloin. The Cedar Plank Salmon was prepared perfectly and came with green beans and potatoes on the side. The Pork Tenderloin was also prepared amazingly and was very tender. The sauce that was poured over it was out of this world. The eggplant chutney was not my favorite but that isn't because it was not well prepared just not my taste. The short ten minute drive out of the city was well worth it to say the least.

Have visited this place three times by now. Love the food! Especially the filet, it just melted in your mouth. The staff were also very nice and professional. Reservations probably needed on holidays.

Love this restaurant. The food is always absolutely fantastic, and price wise it’s not as ridiculous as other eateries in the city. Great place for a date night, anniversary, or other special occasion. We have been extremely grateful for the service and experience we’ve had with our visits. The staff always makes sure to make any occasion special.

This place is kinda small and I can see where there would be a wait on the weekends. Went on a Monday night, had reservations and was seated right away. Me and another couple. The waiter was Trevor whom did a great job. He made recommendations on the beer, was attentive and made sure our dinner was out right after the appetizers. I had the French onion soup that comes in a big bowl that was very good. As an appetizer we had the Straccetti and the planko crusted shrimp. I highly recommend the shrimp. They have a pretty good steak selection, but I ordered the grilled pork tenderloin. Mashed potatoes and a relish. It was delicious. Good service, good food and reasonably priced. Give this place a try, you'll be glad you did.

An incredible jewel found by accident. We drove up from Houston, Texas to visit relatives. My spouse and I wanted some time by ourselves. Fabulous food, service, old new world ambience. I wish we lived closer so we could frequent it more often.

LOVELY LUNCH My husband and I made reservations for a lunch date to celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere is romantic. The service was amazing. The food is impeccable! We will go back!

We were in Oklahoma City on business for the day and we stopped by this restaurant after a Google search. We had made a booking for a later time but we were able to be seated earlier which was great as the restaurant filled up quickly. We had the pear and blue cheese salad which was ver tasty then followed by crab cakes. It was a wonderful lunch in a lovely setting.

Some of the best fine dining in OKC for lunch or dinner. Quiet and intimate with beautiful, delicious food and excellent service. We had braised beef over risotto, crab cakes and pumpkin seed crusted cod. All amazing. Very nice salads as well, and If you like vichyssoise, their's is to die for! They also make their own uniquely flavored ice creams and we love the lemon tart.

Got there near five, it wasn't very busy. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. This place has a great feel to it.

We love the metro! Its a hidden quiet little gem in Nichols Hills offering the best cuisine. Their menu is diverse, portion size is perfect, cocktails are tasty and they have a nice wine selection. Everyone is friendly and provides attentive service. Reservations are suggested! We love just about everything on the menu. We have been dining at The Metro for 15 years+

We both had a steak for an entree, my fiancé has the filet and I had the NY Strip. My fiancé got the red wine sauce and I got the red wine sauce with a juniper and rosemary crust. The only thing about the strip was it was not well done as asked. It was medium well. The steak absolutely MELTSSSS in your mouth.

Last time I was there I drove over things in the parking lot that wasn't meant to drive over. Lol. That was around 15ish years ago. It was exactly the same yet not what I remember. Memories are tricky! 😉 staff as well as patrons were welcoming. Saw ppl I'd never expected to see. It was enjoyable to say the least.

Incredible food and amazing service! I'm not really into wine, but if I were, this would be the place to go. The food is absolutely incredible, both in presentation and in taste. The service it wonderful as well. Refills before your glass is empty every time. This is the perfect spot for a fancy date night and I'd highly recommend it. Also, the lemon white chocolate cheesecake is the best cheesecake I've ever had, and I've had a lot.

I've had better steak at other dining venues. The Lamb Pot stickers and the Risotto was great. Overall, it was a good fine dining experience, but I will be shopping around to other fine dining venues before making a choice as to what I consider my regular fine dining spot in the OKC metro.

Lovely dinner! I just love the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and top notch service. I started with the soup special which was mushroom soup. It wasn’t from a can and it was delicious. For my entree, I enjoyed the Red Snapper dinner special and the chef had no problem leaving off the fennel for me. For dessert hubby and I shared the dessert trio (cream brûlée, chocolate cake and berry sorbet) and it was the perfect size.

Dinner reservations might be recommended but we stood outside in the cold quite a while waiting for our table. The menu offers a variety of mainstream dishes, only one vegan choice. On the plus side, the vegan curry tasted good. Downers were the portion size was small and the ingredients hardly justified the hefty price.

We have frequented the Metro for over 30 years. It is consistently the best restaurant in Oklahoma City. The wait staff is wonderful and the food is delicious. Their seasonal menu is always good. This season’s lamb was perfect. The wine flights are always fun. I have never had a bad glass of wine here. But the main features are the wonderful food and staff!

Atmosphere is dated and has a stuffy feel to it. We had a good waiter, but the food was just ok. Looking for more with that Nichols Hills price tag. Won't be back to this place.

Delicious as always, and the service is top-notch. Our waiter (shoutout to Jim!) was attentive and happy to answer any questions we had. The only problem was with the cheese trio: about half of the grapes were clearly past their prime and too far gone to eat. We always order the cheese trio, and this is the first time that we’ve ever had an issue with it, so I will have no problem returning and ordering it again. Everything else was as excellent as it always is! The perfect upscale date night spot. They’re always very accommodating, and take care of any requests in the reservation. That attention to detail, combined with the outstanding food and wondering service, makes this a true fine dining experience. Side note, we were curious about a drink we had so we asked the bartender about it. He was so helpful! He graciously answered our questions and was so friendly.

DRIVE - From anywhere to come here! This isn’t a stop or a detour, it’s a destination for foodies. Service and quality are second to none! Our server tonight is Trevor, he’s been here 20 years and is ultra-knowledgeable and friendly…No pretentiousness or pressure. Every single item is decadent, perfectly designed and executed. It’s uncommon that an ownership pays attention to all details, but obviously after 30 years, they’ve nailed it. Hats off to the management for a business well done. If OKC was Michelin rated, this place would surely be listed.

We didn't have a reservation and hostess Oliver's attentiveness to accommodate us was first class. She was simply "Great". The service was impeccable and every dish we tried was outstanding! I recommend the Pork Chop from the "Seasonal Menu" ..twas fantastic. This is a great place for an upscale experience! A MUST when in OKC! Thanks for making my wife's birthday memorable!

We were a group of 11 that came here last year from Kansas City for a tennis tournament. We loved it so much that everyone wanted to return this year. Jim was our server and he was very knowledgeable and patient with our group.Jim was wonderful. The food was great! The wine did not disappoint! The kicker was when I left my credit card there, I called and spoke to Eric the GM/Owner and he personally came to our hotel and brought it to me after he was done working. That is the best service I have ever received from any restaurant. I have owned a restaurant for 40 years. And, Eric taught me a lesson in hospitality! Well done Eric and the fabulous Metro Wine Bar & Bistro!!
