Very short staffed and overworked. No true lunch breaks. There is nobody to relieve you of your patient load to take a break and eat. Management will come and tell you more things that need to be done when you are already behind, then go sit on a cell phone. When you start, they act like everybody will help but they won’t. Patient care is lacking and orders frequently not carried through due to staffing. It was unsafe to me. Hire techs with no certification that don’t know how to take a blood pressure or recognize when one is dangerous. The higher ups can be very disrespectful and talk down to you, like you are a child. A lot of the staff have hateful attitudes. Keep record of all communication with management because they circle back. Don’t do anything in person, text or email everything for record. Charge nurse speaks inappropriately of staff to fellow staff. Charge nurse made hateful remarks about me walking by me one day as well. I could not believe a grown woman acted so ugly to me like high school again.

By far the best clinic to visit. A few month ago my mother was here for 15 days and the care was overwhelmingly great. This was the best rehab facility to every have to be in.i would higly recommended this place any one needs rehabilitation. the staff, nurses, doctors everybody are wonderful. Especially the receptionist was great with greeting everyone when they came in that really made it great to see a smiling face every time I and my mother came in. Which made this place unforgettable for her

My wife transferred from Select Specialty Hospital on 06/03/21and she stayed to 06/18/21. She was very happy ...room really clean, specially was the hospital staff , every ones are nice and professionally. Just two weeks in the hospital my wife has her strength improved . Now she is at home and practicing more to get back to normal after 4 months 3 days stayed in 4 hospitals due to Covid-19 infection. We can’t say thanks enough to Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital.

Great doctors, great rehab therapist, horrible case management! The inability to communicate specific information that helps patients and families make good choices during a very trying time 0 out of 10. As patients and families, we rely on hospital staff particularly case managers to help guide your steps, not having the security to provide facts no matter how tough is unacceptable. If patient progress is graded and can be cause for discharge families should know the criteria to be prepared for inevitable discharge. My original appeal was approved on a technicality, case manager said there was no date on it. I believed I needed to do another appeal, they then recommended that she be moved which makes sense if she wasn’t making progress. My appeal was denied today, she has to leave tomorrow by noon. Case manager probably laughed all the way home. The decision was made by the facility before I ever appealed. I was told the day before discharge that the hospital was recommending discharge. They gave the impression that that date was based on an initial Medicare assessment. We are eligible per Medicare for 30 days. I believed I needed to ask for an extension or appeal as everyone on staff was insisting that they were so pleased with progress until yesterday! My hope was that she would get the best level of therapy here, I still believe that. A simple conversation to explain the expectation would have avoided several days of stress and unease! Simply providing other facilities when they knew I believed I could appeal because we had coverage is again unacceptable. The idea that adults are not capable of handling the truth is ludicrous.

I had a stroke and it was the second one I had. My local hospital was not going to give me their own rehab programapparently did not feel I was progressing enough after four days or so but mercy rehab hospital contacted my mom and got me accepted . Working here I progressed wonderfully well every day. I can now move my left hand a lot and I am walking with a walker. THANK YOU GUYS SO VERY MUCH!!!

Our family member has received exceptional care during her stay. The entire staff has done their jobs very well. They have goals and stick to them. After a very difficult time in the hospital, they have done everything to aid in recovery. From the admitting nurse to drs to therapists to nursing staff and techs, they have treated our family member with dignity and respect.

I was there in January 2020 and in March 2020. They all were the best they totaly got me where I could handle things at home after have 2 back surgeries. The nurses were great. And the Therapist there went above and beyond. If I ever have to have anymore rehab it will be there.

My mother, age 91,fell in her home. The hospital where she was transported, encouraged me to put her in a Skilled Nursing facility. I knew she would not thrive in this situation. I requested Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital because I had seen such positive results from elderly friends. After 3 weeks, she was walking, dressing herself and was able to maneuver herself to get into a car. The therapist, nurses, aids and case worker were very attentive and kind. And Mom loved the food!! I highly recommend this facility, if you want positive results.

I’ve had a few family members that have come to be patients at Mercy Rehab. They all have pretty much said how big of a blessing it was to have the care from the Doctors, Nurses, Therapist and the warm welcome from the receptionist from their first day there to the day they discharged home. They truly care and I recommend this hospital for care

My wife was sent to Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital after suffering a stroke. We have nothing but praise for the therapy and care she received. Dr. Kim Bouvette and the team of therapists who worked with her were amazing. We have nothing but admiration for this facility and staff.

Top notch facility with top-notch staff professional staff. I highly recommend Mercy Rehab North as the place to go for inpatient rehabilitation. Only one thing I would suggest and that would be to extend visiting hours. Other than that n complaints at all.

My wife just finished a 18 day stay at the hospital. Primary reason was to get daily therapy to improve her mobility and strength. She has lots of experience with in home and out patient therapy since a stroke in 2014. The therapy program at this facility is very good. While receiving the daily therapy the doctor, nurse and aides did a great job managing her health needs that were the original reason for needing therapy. The food service, cleaning and administration staff provided great service during my wife's stay. We highly recommend this facility

Mercy rehab hospital okc has been wonderful. Everything from the food to the staff has been way beyond my expectations. They truly are miracle workers. Abby went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She was constantly checking on me and made sure I taken care of, her and I just “vibed”. My therapists Laurel, Isabella and Landry were absolutely amazing, without them I fell like I wouldn’t be where I am now. Debbie at the front desk was always so friendly and checking on me also. The cafeteria staff are amazing as well, not to mention excellent cooks. I just can’t say enough wonderful things about this rehab hospital, I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs it! ❤️

My 86 year old mom who is a retired nurse was admitted here a week ago. Her experience could not have been better. The staff is the most kind, caring and compassionate group of people! It feels like family here. You’ll even see the senior staff jumping in to help serve meals. I have stayed with her 24/7 but didn’t need to. She was very well cared for. I pray we don’t need this in the future but if we do we won’t hesitate to come back here. My dad was here in 2020 during Covid and had the same wonderful experience. Thank you MIRH for everything you do - all with a welcoming smile!

My mother came to Mercy Rehab North after a long, trying 90 day stay at a Skilled Nursing facility. She was so ready to be home. When she arrived it felt like the Ritz Carlton experience of attention and care she received. It was an answer to our prayers! She was suppose to stay for 14 days and they got her home in 8 days!!! Thank you for getting my Mom home and walking! I would love to work here to be part of this awesome team. 😉Thank you!!!!

This is an amazing place. I've actually been here twice. After a motorcycle wreck in 2016 and in 2023 after an infection disease. The people are so professional and friendly. Kelli PT and Mary OT, were so much fun to work with! My nurses, Jeremy, Semayshen and Edith were amazing. I never saw a face here that wasn't caring and friendly. I hope I never have to come back but I highly recommend this place!

This was our first stay in a rehabilitation center. We interacted with the attending; physicians, the nurse aids, and occupational therapist, speech therapist, and physical therapist. We had a delightful time with the dietary staff they were more than accommodating with all of our wishes. When we arrived, I had the inability to walk or talk. I have regained much of my physical strength. Everyone has been extremely professional and courteous. I would recommend this facility for anyone who has to have additional medical attention after a hospitalization. Have a great this rehabilitation center as #1 in our city probably our state. They received the highest recommendation from me,

It was wonderful here. Days I have been down, but the interactions with everyone here made me feel like a celebrity. The staff is so nice. Loriana in OT and Marlee in PT really got me through. Thank you!

My stay at Mercy rehab was great. The staff was friendly, respectful, and encouraging. Therapist Michele and Ana were very supportive. Therapy tech Preston and Canaan were both very helpful Nurses Quana and Belinda along with nurse techs Abigail and Erica were also incredibly kind. They all were a great team, I’m very thankful for their help in my recovery.

The doctors and staff at MRH are all examples of the best in the business. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The facilities are modern and well appointed. I was able bring in personal items like photographs, favorite blankets and even a Roku - all of which made my stay so much more comfortable. The best parts were the visits from my pups. I looked forward to my interactions with staff each day. It was like being cared for by your favorite friends and relatives! The therapy was top quality, and with their help I made great progress. I will absolutely remember MRH for any future needs, and I highly recommend their services!

I had the best care during my stay at Mercy Rehabilitation Center. Sarah the night nurse took such good care me. She treated me with so much compassion. Tyenne my day nurse was absolutely amazing. Special shout out to the PT team Ashley, Mary, and Macy for using all of your knowledge to help me walk again. Thank you for pushing me to do the hard things.

I had an amputation of my right leg and was sent here after surgery. I was nervous of the rehab but my PTs were great. The taught me all the home situations I will come across. Food was great too. I would recommend this as your rehab hospital.

If it wasn't for Mercy Rehab I would be up the creek without a paddle. What they did for me was almost a miracle in my mind because before I got here I was ready to throw in the towel. I found out if you don't give up and. you don't give in and believe in the staff they will get you where you need to be.

I came here for over 2 weeks after extensive spinal surgery at St Anthony Hospital. The physical rehab was extensive and beneficial. Staff was very positive and encouraging. Atmosphere was bright and uplifting. Meals had variety as there were chouces within menus. It was amazing how great care was in spite of short staffing for nursing floor. I keep hearing the one cafeteria person I call the cheerleader. She called everyone dear and vociferously said I am blessed.

This was my first experience staying at a rehabilitation facility following my Medical stay at Mercy Hospital. The care here has been outstanding at all levels, nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. The facility is nice and has nice sized rooms. The meals have been great and they have great variety. If I ever needed this type of care again, without question I would come back.
