I
have
a
small
pet
and
have
stayed
at
a
few
Holiday
Inn
Express’
during
my
travels,
and
have
been
pleased
in
the
past.
The
front
desk
people
are
nice,
and
that
I
appreciate,
however,
I
will
not
be
back
to
this
location.
I
had
remodelers
working
in
my
home
and
needed
a
place
to
go
to
during
the
daytime
with
my
elderly
parent
and
pet.
Upon
arrival,
the
room
was
so
hot
you
could
barely
stand
it.
The
front
desk
said
the
air
had
been
off
for
a
couple
of
days
in
that
room
(motion
sensors).
Eventually
the
room
did
cool.
The
carpet
was
filthy,
one
of
the
chairs
had
vinyl
hanging
off,
the
little
dinette
had
wooden
chairs
that
were
all
chipped
with
age
and
one
of
the
walls
had
some
kind
of
greasy
looking
smears
on
it.
The
smell
was
gagging,
it
smelled
like
a
dirty
wet
dog
that
had
been
in
a
pond.
I
cleaned
the
room
with
a
disinfectant
and
we
continued
to
use
it
for
2
hours
first
day
and
5
hours
the
next
because
if
you’ve
ever
had
to
move
elderly
people,
you
know
it
upsets
their
world
to
change
it
constantly.
We
had
a
physical
therapist
come
for
the
weekly
appointment
with
my
parent
and
she
was
appalled
by
the
conditions.
I
assured
her
I
had
cleaned
and
we
would
be
leaving
soon.
Guys,
I
did
contact
the
management
after
the
stay,
so
in
their
defense,
they
didn’t
get
the
opportunity
to
move
us
from
room
to
room,
but
when
you
have
need
for
handicap
facilities
and
pet,
options
can
be
limited
and
I
just
didn’t
want
the
hassle,
we
just
dealt.
When
I
called,
I
did
not
ask
for
a
refund,
but
did
let
them
know
the
conditions.
They
apologized
and
said
they
are
getting
ready
to
remodel,
it’s
a
16
year
old
facility
and
they
know
the
furniture
is
dated.
My
suggestion
to
those
considering
staying,
call
ahead
and
ask
if
the
remodel
has
been
completed
before
you
book
with
them.
Sorry
IHG,
this
was
a
very
poor
experience.
