Food was tasty and price was great. We got the sweet and sour family meal and it was 13.50 and came with so much food( we declined the soup that comes with it). Sauce was meh. But chicken was really good and fried rice was delicious on its own.didnt like the chicken on the stick that menu said was supposed to be chicken teriyaki but tasted like pork to me. Employees were very nice.

I’m actually shocked that I am just now doing a review on Speedy Wok! I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years! I discovered it when I worked nearby and I haven’t stopped going since. They have had CONSISTENTLY DELICIOUS FOOD. In the 20+ years I’ve been going here, I have only had one or two issues but I didn’t even bring it to their attention because I figured of ALL the years I’ve eaten here, they deserve to get by with a mistake or two. The owners recognize me and always speak and are friendly when I come in. I love this place! 🤤🧡

Love this place! My husband and I tried the Speedy Wok last month for the first time. We were drawn there by the great reviews. We were not disappointed! We were taken back by the reasonable prices. And then the food arrived! Beginning with delicious egg drop soup and then generous potions of our entree. I had the cashew chicken and vegetables and my husband had the orange chicken. The vegetables were fresh, just the way I like them plus they gave me plenty of cashews. This past week we got take out and again, generous portions and delicious! We only paid $5.99 for each meal!

First time coming in, very disappointed. When they took my order down it was in a messy piece of paper, no wonder they completely messed up my order. I wasted $42 here. Never going to bring my business back Don’t order the chicken chowmein, it’s far from chowmein you’ll get crisps and the chicken looks and tastes horrible. The fried rice is ok. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp and I received fried shrimp. The soups aren’t that tasty. I ordered and paid for dumplings they completely missed that part of my order.

Food was great, portions were great, the young girls working the register complained about my tip as I was walking out the door. Super unprofessional and I won’t be back. If you wait on my table 20% tip, if I drive to you to pick up my food 5-10% tip. Entitled nonsense to complain about a tip in front of a customer. I dropped $45 in food

I love the shrimp fried rice! Fried rice is some of the best in the city. The general tsos chicken is delicious as well. Been going here for years! Food is always consistent and delicious. Generous portions and the staff is very friendly! Would highly recommend! They are a mom and pop shop, so please be patient as sometimes they get really busy. Call ahead your order! Worth the wait.

Lomain noodles are fettuccine noodles taste burn. Place had a funny smell like chlorine when you walk in and food is given in a cvs bag

Ordered for the first time today, and I was very disappointed. The first issue was that the food was given to us in used Walmart and CVS bags. The second issue was the overall quality and taste of the food. The sweet and sour chicken was not fully cooked. The chicken was raw and the batter was still uncooked. Everything we ordered was flavorless. Waste of money. I don’t recommend.

The Egg Drop Soup had no flavor whatsoever. I wondered what it was. It looked correct but had absolutely no flavor. I didn’t eat wondering what was in it. My Egg Roll had long strands of hair in it. So disgusting!!! I did not eat any more of it. So of course this ruined my appetite for the sweet and sour shrimp and rice. Disgusting!!! I will never order from here again.

Been eating here for over 15 years. Best Chinese takeout on the NW side. Pepper steak is my fav & the sweet & sour shrimp. Portions are big & the prices aren’t outrageous. Food is always fresh upon arrival.

I rarely do reviews, but Speedy Wok deserves one. They were very kind, the prices were reasonable, and most importantly, the food was fantastic. Fresh ingredients and not too heavily sauced like many Asian restaurants tend toward. Highly recommend Speedy Wok!
