My husband had a 360 degree fusion surgery on his back requiring a 4 day stay at Northwest Surgical Hospital. His surgery was conducted in two parts by Dr Emily Friedman and was assisted by Dr. Riggs and Dr. Conley. His care at this facility was excellent , not only from the physicians and anesthesiologists, but also the cleaning staff, nutrition, physical therapy, to the nursing staff. The staff were not just attentive to his physical needs but offered much encouragement and emotional support to him and our family. Upon dismissal, we felt comfortable continuing his care at home due to all of the information, supplies, and guidance given by the nursing staff. My husband has never left a review for anything but was so impressed and appreciative he wanted to express his gratitude and hopefully offer some encouragement to anyone that may be needing a surgical procedure and stay at this facility. You will be in good hands.

I was scheduled for surgery in late Oct, and was surprised it was at this facility. Never had noticed it or heard of it. I was taken care of like I was the only patient from the time I arrived. My pre-op nurse Candace was great. The anesthetist, Steve was through and my time in recovery was short, and no after affects. My surgeon Dr. B came and discussed everything with me, and as I was headed to my room he visited again. My day nurse Michelle was by far the best nurse and caring person I have ever had . This facility and its staff is top notch.

Although small in stature from the outside, once inside I was extremely impressed. From the excellent staff, the superb care and the fact that I didn't feel as if I was in a hospital but more like a weekend getaway, I was thoroughly impressed. Any more surgeries I have, Iwill make sure my Dr is affiliated with this facility.

Excellent care and environment. And YES, the food (which I understand is catered in) is Excellent! You can choose from a nice menu each meal of the day.

I had a surgery with an overnight hospital stay. The nurses were very attentive and careful. The food was excellent, it would be good food anywhere but especially in light of the reputation of hospital food. My room was comfortably sized with 2 options for my husband to sleep, a recliner and a pull out loveseat. Everything was clean. The staffing was excellent. I was able to make some choices about what would be most comfortable for me, but they were careful to provide options that were helpful. Nobody wants to stay in a hospital, but this would be my first choice.

Incredible! Such a great experience here when I needed surgery. Every nurse and physical therapist I had was so kind and took such good care of me! They were also very nice and helpful to all of my family and friends who were visiting. Thank you all!

I have had two outpatient surgeries at this hospital in the last two months. I believe the all inclusive care that I received was second to none. From check-in to discharge the staff made me feel at ease. So happy my doctor chose this hospital. Keep up the good work. Thank you!

I had back surgery recently and they were kind enough to provide a as a courtesy room since i had to arrive so early the next morning for surgery and it was a 2.5 hour drive. The room I was given was the same room i remained in for the remainder of my stay. The shower was spotty water flow to say the least and i was expected to take my shower and cleanse for surgery. Not to mention that the water was ice cold despite letting it warm up for 15 minutes and having warm water in my sink. I had the absolute best night nurse ever . Kay went above and beyond to walk me and help me anyway possible with the pain following my surgery. Kim with Pt was equally as caring. The meals were edible and I was given several choices of menus. I will not, however, based on the shower issues and other staff attitudes be willing to have another needed procedure at this facility. Dr. Smith did seem to repair my problem best I can tell two weeks post op.

If I could give 0, I would. I tried to explain to the anesthesiologist that I had been told by several doctors that it would be hard to intubate and instead of listening to me, he puts me under and "magically" can't intubate me. He told me that everyone says who has TMJ. So I wasn't able to do my surgery, they charged my insurance $17,000+ and want me to pay $137 for something I didn't have done. Might I add that I paid $300 when I got there. I've called and told them what happened they didn't want to listen so I'll tell my insurance about me not having the surgery and see if they want to consider it insurance fraud 🤷‍♀️.

Best hospital experience I have ever had, from check in to release. I had to have surgery on my left hip. When I came in the nurse at the front desk saw I was in pain, so she made sure I had to move as little as possible and even tried to find any way she could to make me more comfortable. The nurse that took me back was extremely understanding and moved at my pace. Not once did she make me feel like I was holding her up. She even apologized several tes for the distance we had to travel (up an elevator, down a hall, down am elevator, down another hall. They could see how much pain I was in so they moved as fast as they could to get everything done that needed to be so they could give me some relief. While I was waiting the entire staff was incredibly attentive and constantly showed genuine concern for my needs and comfort. Going into the OR the little bit I saw the staff the were very calming and interactive before I was out. Recovery was even great. Sherri and Tanya watched over me the entire time and even ran to my wife to get some snacks when they found out I was gluten intolerant so I could eat something post op. If I needed another surgery this place would definitely be my first choice for care.

I had surgery here a year ago, was required to stay for 3 days due to the type of surgery, and really enjoyed the great nurses and environment. The staff was amazing, my husband stayed with me and was treated great as well. When it came his turn for surgery we wanted it here since we had such a great experience last year. But he was an outpatient surgery and got to go home a few hours later. I was treated like a annoyance, no one explained anything to us about me not being able to see him until they wheeled him outside, and the nurses didn't seem to want anyone around. I found out after his surgery was done, after asking the receptionist why I hadn't got to go back to see him yet, that I wasn't allowed. They would call me to inform me when and where to pick him up. After this experience, we will not be coming back.

NW Surgical went above and beyond to assure I received the absolute best care while I was there. Definitely the BEST hospital experience I've ever had. I can't say enough good things about the doctors, nurses, techs, nutrition, pt...everyone was phenomenal! I felt like they truly cared about their patients and loved their job. Thank you all! ❤️
