I live and work in Edmond so I order my loose leaf tea online. It gets here quickly and they always include a nice note with a sample of a seasonal tea. I’ve ordered some tea for gifts as well and each kind is very much enjoyed! I would recommend Urban Teahouse to everyone who enjoys tea and kind people.

Kelly made us a lifelong customer. She was very patient with us, as we are beginner tea drinkers. Kelly was knowledgeable and very professional. The owner should give her a raise, as Kelly is a valued employee. We live a hour and half away and will come to the shop again due to Kelly.Thank you Kelly.

My experience with the owner was less than ideal. I wanted to try a tea before buying loose leaf, so I bought a cup. The owner stressed that they were takeaway only and rushed me to leave. As a result I took a sip of my scorching hot tea and burnt my tongue badly. The owner was very nice other than this, but due to her rushing me to leave, now I cannot even taste the tea I bought. It was 30 degrees outside, the place wasn't busy, it seems like it wouldn't hurt to let people have shelter for 10 minutes. I really wonder if the purpose of this policy is to keep unhoused individuals outside. In any case, the tea was quite good. I'll wait to drink more till my tongue doesn't hurt anymore.

Will always love this place ever since they opened up. Feels at home when you enter. Always a delight when they greet you. I had ask for assistance on a gift basket and they did it all! Help picking out the gifts, the pricing, and they even decorated the basket for extra flair! Highly recommend every time.

I’ve only been here a couple of times but have had extremely pleasant experiences every time. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable about their products and will take the time to explain differences or help point you in the direction of what you might like, or what would be best for the tea you got. It’s a really cute, laid back space and everyone there is really nice. I don’t go their often because it’s pretty far away from where I live. I wish I were closer because I would probably go here all the time! Also 11/10 that they have eco cups and cups with no straws. Huuuuge plus and lots of respect for that.

If you like tea and really enjoy struggling to choose one because 70 of them sound good, this is the place to go! Seriously, the most extensive menu in the best way 🙌 Also, the staff and customers are extremely friendly and social every time I go.

I am venturing into the world of tea (instead of constantly consuming coffee at the rate that I do). I placed an online order for in-store pickup with various tools to get me started, along with a small sampling of different teas. They included a sweet note in my order, along with a little sample of something extra on the house. I ordered an iced tea to go while I was there and chatted with the employee about tea while it steeped. She gave me some tips on making Matcha lattes at home. Hopefully, this new habit catches on and if it does, I'll be loyal to Urban Teahouse! Great first experience.

Absolutely amazing place! The tea is not your bagged tea. This is organic with a wide selection from around the world, and the taste is beyond description. I love the local art on display and the chill vibes. Best part beyond the hot and cold is that the loose tea can be ordered online.

Finally was able to go try this place out. The two young ladies serving were very helpful and informative. I explained it was our first time etc as the manager/owner (not really sure) just looked at us. She didn’t seem to be having a good day. As a previous customer service manager that was the moment you should of been welcoming and inviting. Nope she just looked at us. Good thing the two ladies that were there were awesome! The teas I purchased smell so good. I have only tried one so far but it is yummy!

The atmosphere is nice that so for sure, the tea is good too. I am just not a fan of the takeout only rule. It is not made clear they are takeout only. I think it gives the employees a bad look when they have to kick you out because you aren’t aware that they are takeout only. There are chairs and tables inside and so you can only assume that you’re able to enjoy your tea there. Also I don’t love that they didn’t explain why they are takeout only. Management or whoever handles the situation should make it clear to customers that they are takeout only. If I were an employee I would not appreciate having to ask people to leave when they are new customers that is so unwelcoming. I just recommend a sign or automatically telling customers before they order that it is takeout only. I think that would fix this problem. Maybe they have gone to these measures and I’m not aware or the staff that day didn’t follow through I don’t know. But I just wanted to write a really honest review and let future new customers know. I will be going back to urban tea house on a regular basis though for the flavor of the tea. I also would like to add they ask what sweetness you want your tea from 1-3 and I think that is very nice. However they don’t offer sugar packets if you want it more sweet, that is odd to me. The first time I went in the staff was accommodating and gave me a little tin with sugar. However the second time they didn’t offer anything. If you like a lot of sugar bring some with you I guess. If you like normal sweetness you’ll probably be fine.

Ordered a few teas to try while I was sick and they arrived at my door within 24 hours!! They are the best teas I’ve tried and love they are local. Can’t wait to visit in person!

I recently moved to OKC and I have been trying new places and activities. Urban Teahouse is such a great experience due to their tea selection, but mostly because of their employees. I go on Sundays and run into Mac and Samson. These two are such amazing people and really make my day! Every time I come in I am greeted with smiles and two people who are happy to see me. I have been slowly working through the various teas offered and I am blown away at the service and quality. I love coming here and I’m so thankful I found this little slice of paradise. ☺️

My fav place to buy tea. They have the best teas and great prices. Their online ordering is super easy and fast shipping. If you go in store, the service is excellent and they have lots of teapots and such to buy. Love this place

    • Little bit hidden, large tea selection, relaxed place. • This one is a tad harder to find, especially if you go by your GPS. It's actually on the back side of the building, not towards the main road. Inviting atmosphere with plenty of places to sit and lots of teas to choose from. We got ours to go and mine was really good (they even give you 3 sweet levels to choose from and style of sweetener to get).

Amazing tea. There were some issues with pricing discrepancies between the website and the store, but the employee who helped me went out of his way to address the problem.

First time in this evening and I can't say enough wonderful things about the atmosphere, employees, and the selection of teas! Gabrielle helped along with another girl had some good opinions as well! Very nice experience and will absolutely be back. Coming back the second time was worth it! Sam(p?)son was fun and helped us have a great experience picking out teas.

Fun little vibe. The tea is great and service is fabulous! Great place to catch up with friends for an afternoon tea. The place is kind of hidden behind pizzeria ghusto in a strip. Fun art in the hallway. Use Google maps to find it.

I recently had their Black Vanilla tea at Syrup and it was delicious! It was so good, I ordered some to brew at home. It’s the best hot tea I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend for any tea lovers!

I made a list of my favorite teas below. I thought it might be helpful. I've tried many of the teas. This the best tea house! I drop by every time I'm in OKC. Super friendly people. I live out of town, I order my tea online. My favorites: 1) Ceylon 2) Meyer Lemon - black 3) Apricot - black Favorite green: Lemon Ginger Snap - green Other favorites: Sweet Almond - herbal White Strawberry - white I don't like to use sugar or honey. Each of these teas are wonderful with nothing added to them. My orders typically arrive within a couple of days. They add a sample with each order. That's how I discovered Black Currant. I'm looking forward to trying more of the teas. I'm very happy that I found Urban Tea House.

Such a cute tea spot! Dozens of great tea options, and super knowledgeable staff. They offered to help me find the perfect flavor, and were super helpful in picking out loose leaf to take home (even writing out specific temperatures and steeping times)! Will definitely be returning to try more flavors.

Urban Teahouse is spectacular! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They are eager to assist you in finding your perfect match when it comes to loose leaf teas. The selection is incredible, and the prices are very fair! Their orange grapefruit blend is my personal favorite. I promise you won't regret a visit to this adorable small business!🥰
