Mediocre food for the money. Try somewhere else.

Awesome food, great service and the chief came out several times to check on everything. The filet was fantastic and the baked apple pie was out of this world. It is a bit pricey but I think it is worth it for the price.

I set out on a mission to find a killer steak in OKC. I didn’t get steak, I got lamb… and it was spectacular. Loved the atmosphere and vibe. Service was on point. Had great conversation with the bartender Michael. Definitely a place to go if you’re in OKC.

The worst service and food we've ever wasted our hard earned money on. The meanest owner you'll ever speak to. Our anniversary is ruined to say the very least. Telling everyone we know to avoid avoid avoid .

You are doing yourself a huge disservice if you do not dine here when you are in Oklahoma City... I have a good friend who lives nearby, and we went to numerous other establishments before I discovered this place through some serious research... My friend had not been to the restaurant in perhaps 15 years... Now, It is his go-to... And it is my go-to when I am in Oklahoma City... If I am there for one night, there is not even a thought, this is where I am going to dine... I might even go there both nights if it was just a two-night stay in the city... You will find Michael, the owner, Greeting And checking in on every table while you are there... His care is only that you have the finest dining experience that you can... And if you dine here, you will... A word of advice, the specials are always something to think very strongly about ordering... If the regular meals are 100%, then the specials are always 110% or more... The owner has been involved in restaurants probably since he was born, and it shows in his offerings, presentation, and service... It would be hard to beat this restaurant ANYWHERE...

This is for gluten sensitve people. This resturant is amazing; atmosphere, food & wait staff included. Michael's is known for the caesar salad & that was the reason for my visit on my daughter birthday. I requested the salad with no croutons & was told Michael wouldn't modify the salad. I asked the waiter to please ask Michael & let him know this wasn't just a preference but an allergy issue. The waiter came back & said Michael said he would NOT accommodate my request. SERIOUSLY!!??? So, if you are gluten free you might need to call ahead to make sure they are willing to accommodate your sensitivity outside the caesar salad. I hope by writing the review that Michael will reconsider.

Let me preface this by saying that yes, the menu items are expensive. The location is unusual for such an upscale and pricey menu; located in a strip of other stores. This was our first visit here, and we almost missed the turn on Country Club because it wasn't marked. We came before Christmas, so they had a plethora of Santa figures, seasonal decor, and Christmas music piping in from the speakers. Very warm and welcoming. We saw Michael as we sat down and he was very amiable. The restaurant is a bit of an unusual hybrid of elegance and sports bar. The crab cakes were amazing and my burger was quite sizable and delicious. The house bread is crunchy—like large croutons. Not my favorite. As time passed the restaurant filled with more patrons and our server became more scarce. That's the main reason for a lost star. If we're paying good money we should not have to wait over five-plus minutes for a refill or dessert.

We came for our holiday party as a treat for our restaurant staff. We were greeted warmly by Michael with a handshake and a thank you (each of us, he came around the table to all 7 of us) which was a very nice touch. Our server, John, was knowledgeable and quick. We all ordered something different so we could try a bit of each. It was all amazing. The salads were especially good. It was all top notch, we will be back. Thank you!

I can briefly describe this place in a short paragraph: -Extremely expensive for low quality, tastelsss and old food. You will not get your money’s worth - poor food quality and unprofessional service. -owner needs temper or anger management because he will scream and explode at even the smallest customer complaint. This place is definitely a restaurant where the customer is never right! Do not complain at all about the food, service, or anything, because the rude, temperamental owner will scream at you in front of everyone and not feel shame! -owner’s wife is also not very nice. She’s very snappy and will lie directly to your face -just a suggestion: if you want a beautiful, relaxing dinner with good food, spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Excellent dinner to celebrate my mother-in-laws 88th Birthday with family. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. We can’t wait to return!

If you want to go to Flavortown - any dish will get you there. My notable favs: the Caesar, clams, & veal Marsala. Also a great place to watch a game. Don’t sleep on the wings.

This is absolutely the best restaurant in Oklahoma.I highly recommend the grilled shrimp Caesar salad and ask for the steak special it's not on the menu always sit at the bar and ask for Michael

Wonderful

Small upscale restaurant just east of May Ave. Fantastic owner really takes pride in his shop. The food is fantastic, but a bit on the pricey side. Most entrees were $39-50. Popular with locals, so check for reservations. Somewhat difficult to spot as it's just off May Ave. behind a large Blue 7 store.

Unbelievably rude, Wow! Never been, intrigued by the online presence, decided to make a reservation, however no Online Offer to do so. No link provided anywhere... ? Strange I thought so decided to start calling even tho they don't open til 6pm. It was approx 4:20pm. I called several times, just in case - wanted to surprise someone coming into town. I didn't "expect" a table but wasn't sure why no ability to make a reservation wasn't avail? So I figured I'd leave a msg. I decide to call back at 5:25, Guy answers andI tried asking him if folks call several days in advance for this place or how it works cuz I'd been calling since about 4pm w/no answer. The guy tells me "what? you haven't called that long and to expect to get in 30 min b4 we open...?" I was shocked really... The audacity of someone to be so careless, wow. This guy was so flippant and ungrateful, obviously for his place of his or his position I just couldn't believe the phoneetiquette. Now I will n ever visit. .

absolutely the BEST steakhouse in Oklahoma. if you come through okc you have to try it. I only eat steak and it is the best I have EVER ate! michaels will not disappoint 🙌 👏

My New Favorite Restaurant! My husband brought me here for our anniversary. Honestly, I didn't want to go. I'm not really into food and the thought of sitting in a "nice" restaurant through an entire meal makes me want to pull my hair out. I always feel like "nice" restaurants are full of pretentious staff intent on convincing me they're very important people. I was super surprised. The staff was down to earth and fun to talk with. The owner greeted us at the door. The waiter was excellent. He provided us with recommendations, which we gladly took. I had the best scallops I've ever had. I don't like steak but my husband ordered a KC strip and it was so delicious he refused to try my scallops (though I did try his steak and it was excellent.) Our Caesar salads were delicious! It was a great meal and I loved the low-key atmosphere. I couldn't wait to eat the rest of my scallops for lunch today and I noticed my husband took the rest of his steak to work for lunch, which he ever does. Will definitely go there again!

Ordered the Sirloin burger, got the tenderloin sandwich. Asked server about it and he said it was the correct meal. Took it home and threw it in the trash. It was not good. Won’t ever go back

My fiance's family introduced me to this little hidden gem, and it is one of the places we love to drop by, knowing we will get an amazing meal. If you go on a weekend, you NEED a reservation. Otherwise you just won't get a seat haha. We recently went on a weeknight, and were sat immediately. One of the best things ever is their garlic bread stuff that they bring to every table. It is crispy, golden, buttery, garlicky, and perfect. I could eat just those and be happy. I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy immensely, and their desserts are just SO good. The owner is a gem, and the staff is always great as well. Definitely worth a visit!

Michael is gracious and the food is amazing. We loved the atmosphere, the warm welcome and the Kansas City strip was the best I’ve ever eaten. We also had the cherry pie which is home made topped with ice cream.

Horrible, absolutely horrible experience. The food was not good and extremely overpriced. The atmosphere is dark and weird. The owner made things extremely uncomfortable as he threw a huge hissy fit at one of his employees and a delivery man. The owner would not wear a mask and unleashed a verbal bashing on someone who asked him to put one on. Do not go this place is horrible.

The wife an I celebrated our 11th anniversary here, it was amazing as always. The wife had the lamb chops and I had the coconut crusted halibut both were so delicious I was sad once they were gone!

Not to crazy about this place

Great place for fine dining experience. Their appitisors, entre and deserts are awesome. I especially remember the clams for appitisor. The portion satisfied four of us. Michael would come around to the tables asking if things were prepared properly or if anyone needed anything.
