👍👍 This was our first time going to First Med Urgent Care. The staff was very friendly from check-in to check-out. The doctor and nurse were both so kind. They treated me with care, patience and professionalism. Hopefully I won’t have the need to return any time soon but it’s great know they are there... People often mention time, wait, care, staff, doctor, kind, great, told, room, people,

We were in a pinch this evening - my youngest had a fever and aches/cough come on extremely quickly. None of the Urgent Cares near us were open or willing to see us since it was Sunday at 5pm but Dr. Kubier and his staff were absolutely PHENOMENAL. We hopped on a virtual visit and she needed to be seen in clinic. He told us they were open and he’d absolutely see us if we could get there before closing time. We were able to catch her strep in the early stages AND got medicine TONIGHT. Absolutely fantastic job to all of them and amazing patient care!!! Would absolutely recommend! Also, Patsy at the front desk was a rock star and we loved her! THANK YOU!!!!

Went here the day before Memorial Day after returning from an international trip where I contracted ecoli (didn’t know at the time). There was one car in the entire parking lot, but I waited 45 min in pain in the back room before Dr Kubier met with me and basically said I would have to wait until Tuesday to do a test and there was nothing he could do for me. He also said I wouldn’t be charged for the visit. No tests were ran, no prescriptions, nothing. I asked for a recommendation to speed up the testing process and he pointed me to an area ER. Paid over $1000 at the ER, was diagnosed and given prescriptions for relief. I was fine and dandy with all that until I got a bill. Finally called to explain and the corporate bill collector said I need to call the clinic because they won’t do anything, just send to collections. Called the clinic and they said I need to talk to corporate billing, they cannot do anything. No help at all, just like my visit for care. I can easily pay my bills, but nothing was done for me except add an hour to my agony and ER bills. Honor your word or do anything at all to make this right. I suppose all I can do at this point is give you a dumb 1 star review.

Dr. Martin did a great job on my health exam. He explained everything to me in a very calm and clear manner even when I kept asking questions he answered all of them. He didn't rush the exam and took the proper procedures to diagnose me even tho he was quite busy that weekend.

The staff were kind, professional. It was efficient service. The doctor was also kind, compassionate, very knowledgeable. I was in and out with a definitive diagnosis in less than 90 minutes. I would highly recommend them.

I usually use this urgent care and have always loved it but I will no longer come here. I made an appointment for 3:30 because that was the only soonest available. I did come in early knowing I may have to wait either way (2:00)but my sons fever got to 104 and wanted to be atleast near a doctor. We check in, 3 different people walk in after us and they were all seen before us. I asked the front desk when we would be seen after waiting 2 hours, they said we were next. Told me these people have waited 2 hours as if we hadn't already but even then I was calm and understanding. Then they let another person go back before my son and so I confronted them about it and they tried to say they had no control on what goes on in the rooms. I held my ground about us being told we were next and then one of what I'm assuming was a nurse pulled us into the triage room, she didn't have a good attitude because I was upset with them already. She checked his vitals and was super condescending towards me about my son's health and if I had taken the proper steps myself. I feel like she made up some story about him needing blood work and that he couldn't be seen here. We didn't even get to see a doctor, we were basically rushed out because I made a fuss about their poor care. I was frustrated and honestly didn't trust them anymore and just left like they wanted me too but I plan to call corporate and hopefully something can be done about these people. I'm not one to complain usually but when it comes to professionalism and having my child taken care of properly, I can't not say something and I really hope it doesn't happen to someone else's child or even themselves. I work in healthcare myself and I understand being swamped but this wasn't ok. Went to the ER, was seen in and out in an hour and he didn't need blood work at all. They just actually listened to me and took care of my son the right way.

The MA & doctor were nice & very helpful. I had experienced an asthma attack the night before. I had told them. They helped sooo much. Literally saved my life. I havent been able to find a health physician & its times like this that really suck especially being asthmatic. Thank you to First Med urgent care. & my coworker for recommending me to go here

The staff was the most considerate I have encountered. I have ET and most times staff will hand you the paperwork and say "just do the best you can" not here! The nurse and doctor were also very caring and kind. I was diagnosed quickly. Meds were ready at my pharmacy by the time I drove there. I will go back !

I took my adult hearing impaired/intellectually disabled son in for treatment for a foot injury. I feel like we were listen to and treated professionally. Even though we were walkins and they were busy, I was surprised at how quickly we received treatment from the doctor and the x-ray technician. I like the fact that they had a nurse practitioner on duty, which I’ve always experienced they seem to have more knowledge not just on medicine, but on nutrition as well for the body. Dr. Erika has a great bedside manner. Too bad she’s not in the Edmond/Guthrie area or I would probably switch physicians.

My daughter needed a doctor on the weekend so I brought her to First Med Urgent Care. The prime working there were very friendly and professional. The wait time was minimal before going back. We only waited a couple minutes for the doctor. Dr Moor was great! He took care of my daughter and called in medicine she needed.

I had a horrible earache and needed to be seen quickly. It was a Sunday and I found that they were open on Google. I saw PA Kat. She was very friendly and efficient. She ordered me some scripts. I am still sick but on the mend. I recommend utilizing urgent care if needed

Ladies at the front were great and accommodating to my busy schedule. Got me fit it the same day and the Dr got everything addressed and handled in great time without missing anything. Hard to find while traveling.

Oh My💜💜💜ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Such kind and sweet people from the moment I arrived. Made me feel so welcomed I almost forgot why I was there. The DR us the sweetest. I’m still in parking lot as I’m writing this review. I don’t ever leave reviews, but I just had to. I want everyone to know this is the place to be seen at. Thank you for being so kind. 💕

Nice staff. Waiting time was normal. Only problem i had was one person was saying how sick he was but was not told to put a mask on until he was about to leave.

Have come here twice this month, both times the ladies at the front desk didn't welcome me or provide help, but did for people who walked in after me. When i came up to the front desk they didnt look me in my eyes. I came for a walk in today, told the receptionist and she told me to use the iPad to sign in, then a lady comes in after me, also a walk-in, and they give her papers to sign and didn't even tell her about the iPad? The lady who took me to my room was rude and just told me to find my room, and then proceeded to walk another lady to her room. The NP I had was lovely, but when I went to leave to get a doctor's note for school I had to wait until a coworker of the receptionists brought their attention to me. They then proceeded to direct about 4 feet away then helped me, even though I was already standing at their desk, and didn't even apologize to me for not noticing me (even though they had looked at me). I felt like they were treating me worse than other patients because I am younger... I've came here for years and haven't had any issues since before this year, lately the customer service has just been lacking.

I love this clinic I never had any issues. The longest I waited there is maybe like 15 to 20 minutes to be seen. The staff is just very friendly I recommend this Clinic đź’Ż % and Doctor Erikka.

I went in today after being sick for almost a week. Had so much drainage I had lost my appetite. The doctor came in and gave me medicine to help me try to get well. I signed up that morning and went home. They called me back to do a covit test I only had to wait about 10 minutes tested negative but have had a sinus infection he wrote me a prescription for that and I was on my way. Everyone was really nice and helpful.

Went for a Covid test. They forgot I was in my room and called me with my results. When I told them I was still there they said “oh sorry we thought you were in room 4”. My test from them was positive and the doctor told me to go home and do another test to confirm. The second test was negative ! Going elsewhere today to hopefully get an answer.

The wait wasn’t horrible for us walking in. I appreciate the medical assistants care from start to finish. My daughter was sleeping and they examined her with no issues. Erika the nurse practitioner was awesome. Examined her while she was sleeping and gave us the news she had strep throat. Immediately gave us a prescription for antibiotics. If you are ever in a bind and can’t find an urgent care this is the place to go.

  • 4/5 Lesli D. A. 1 year ago on Google
The staff is really nice. I had an appointment, the wait time was about 15 minutes past the appointment time, however that’s not a long wait nowadays. I’m certainly going to be back in the future, since I recently moved and don’t have a primary care doctor yet.

    S. Walker, Okc location. The lady at the front desk, Tyler was outstanding! Working alone and swamped with walk-ins and a constantly ringing phone, she was cool, calm, pleasant and VERY helpful! Really helped alleviate a stressful situation for everyone. Also, Ms. Ma was an outstanding and caring nurse and Dr Kubiak is awesome.

My wait time was not bad at all. I waited maybe 20 minutes a walk in. I like that im able to see myselfin the waitlist. I wish the provider wasn't so rushed. I feel like I was brushed off with a "maybe it's this" answer. I got a rx sent to my pharmacy that insurance doesn't cover and I can buy over the counter. The receptionist are great.

Sometimes they have a long wait time because they do their job good and efficiently. Well worth the wait & I can’t recommend a better place. All the employees are kind and try the best they can to help you

  • 1/5 cierra m. 2 years ago on Google
This place is awful be prepared to wait 3+ hours. Once you get into a room you’ll have to wait another hour to see a doctor or PA. The people working here act like it’s a burden for them to properly answer questions and talk to you. And make sure to double check where they send your prescription because they will not help you even though they sent it to the wrong place.

The staff was very helpful and concerned about getting my children seen. Very thankful for the opportunity to utilize the local clinic. Whenever other clinics were more complicated to get us in, they made it happen asap. I appreciate the concern.

This is my 3rd or 4th visit to this particular location. No real complaints except for wait time. Waited approx. 1 1/2 hrs. Not too bad. All of the staff have been very polite during all of my visits. I will continue coming back

Love this place! They really keep you updated, the staff is super friendly, they’re amusing too! Dr. Edwards is amazing, been skipping around clinics for a while now but he has a great personality and will explain anything you need to know!

Slowest clinic ever! My wife came in at noon today and filled out the dreadful paperwork they want you to fill out each time even though it's the exact same information. She did this so she can return after she gets off work at 530. There have been 2 people come in after her. It's been 45 minutes and the poor thing is still sitting in waiting room. This place has been given a lot of her money over 3years. This is the very last time they will treat her like she doesn't matter. If I could give 0, yes. ZERO STARS. I would. Very unprofessional.

I would definitely recommend this First Med Urgent Care. The nurse and female Doctor (assistant?) were extremely kind & patient with me. They took the time to listen to all my concerns, they were real sweethearts. Yes I did have to wait about 45mins but that is not unusual at a doctor's office especially a busy one. The ladies at the front reception were very friendly alsođź‘Ť

I intended to be a walk-in patient but after seeing how many people where waiting on that Saturday afternoon, I decided to make an appointment for the following day, with hopes of being seen without much waiting and it surely was the best for me and my daughter. They provided strep and covid tests and sent meds over promptly to our neighborhood pharmacy, it was easier than trying to get an appointment at our original Provider. I'm so grateful for this urgent care making health care accessible and convenient for sick people and their family members.

Tried to get an appointment, but every time slot was booked. So I get a call from Nicole that helped me get in, she was so professional and kind..The clinic was so awesome also....I would recommend them to anyone.

All of the staff as well was very kind and considerate. Dr. Patel was thorough and seemed interested in caring for my 86 year old mother. The nursing assistant and x-ray technicians were quite kind tried hard to accommodate Mother’s lack of stamina. It was a five star visit.
