Can't pass up on a Chihuly exhibit! His mother was from Oklahoma, or so they claim. I have to verify. The other exhibits we're interesting. Lovely gift shop too.

Got the chance to see the amazing glass art by Chihuly. The museum has 3 floors for art so it can host multiple exhibitions. There is an entry fee for the museum but it's for all 3 floors. The store on the first floor has a small cafe and many art and quirky items for sale. Photos are allowed but no flash. It was a very calming experience.

This place was nothing short of amazing it showed me different genre's of art, from cultural to classic media forms. At the entry your greeted with friendly and knowledgeable staff who can direct you. Also in the entry there is a glass blown art piece that we were told took 14 days to install made by one of the local artists and his staff. This place is a must see if you are ever in OKC visiting.

They have some remodeling in process but I got some good views there. They gave discounts for students with IDs and free access for Bank of America members. I have some pictures so you can see it. It looks better in person. Some look different from the human eye compared to the camera

The Chihuly exhibit is unlike any other I have seen around the country. I did the whole exhibit twice and intend to go again. Additionally the photography exhibition on the third floor was a group of some of the most iconic sports photos of my life. It was neat seeing the actual photos instead of a magazine page. The middle level has paintings new and old and I enjoyed every single one. I can't recommend this place enough!

My family visited the art museum while we were in town for an NBA game. I appreciated that they offered a military discount. The exhibits were phenomenal. I was a little concerned that my sons would be bored, but the museum offers discovery packs for kiddos to use to explore and learn about the art. My seven year old really enjoyed this. It made our experience so much more enjoyable and kept the kids engaged and excited. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.

Lovely museum! Not large, but exquisite exhibits, including the Chihuly glass exhibit. The library has a free pass for up to 5 people if you have a library card! 😊

I don’t have any significant background in art, but I enjoyed my visit here. The museum has a good collection covering a wide variety of subjects and themes, and has enough on exhibit to take up a good part of an afternoon. If you can, visit the museum while the Pompeii exhibit is still on display!

We took advantage of the Spring Break 2023 free admission! Kids under 17 are always free with an adult. Check the Metro Family Magazine for the discount code! My two kids (age 11 & 14) enjoyed the exhibits. They had craft activities geared for younger kids. There is an elevator and exhibits are ADA accessible. There is a cafe on the 1st floor with the MOA Store, but could not guarantee cross-contamination for food allergies, so we didn’t grab anything to eat. The “Arts Garage” nearby had the cheapest parking at $2/hour. It was enjoyable for all of us!

This museum was beautiful especially the blown glass sculptures. Not very pocket friendly however there are discounts for service members and the senior citizens. Bring a a light sweater it's a tad chilly. They also had these awsome bags to help the littlest visitors have a good time. The gift shop down the hall on the first floor was pretty awesome and there is a little Cafe inside as well.

Beautiful museum, We spent hours in here! I’m usually not a fan of glass art but the exhibit here was incredible, and I would recommend it to anyone because it was truly captivating. One particular room I also liked was one with a theme of water/the beach, and it featured a variety of art styles with the common theme tying it all together. There was also a little film festival going on while we visited which added to our great experience!

Sara in the private events office was a joy to work with! She made it easy to understand how to get in and up to the event space on the rooftop. We have worked in OKC as DJs for 15 years and finally got a chance to work at OKCMOA and it did not disappoint! 5 Stars!

Definitely a showpiece for the Midwest. Great exhibits and the collection of Chihuly glass is awesome. Definitely worth the time, plan on spending between 3 and 5 hours. Easy parking nearby.

The glass art is so pretty! The museum had 2 sections closed off the time I went, they also offer student and military discount. The building was kept cleaned, and all the glass art are monitored. In addition, parking was also easy to find.

What a treasure for Oklahoma City! From the Chihuly exhibit as you come in to the rotating guest exhibits there's always beautiful art to be seen. They have redone the gift shop that seems bigger and brighter now and has a coffee bar with desserts from Ganache so make sure you check it out on the east side of the building.

It was for a kids activity on new years eve, was my first time there. The event was ok didn't have much extra to o for the kids but story time, dance party and a balloon drop. After that we went through the museum, love the top floor with the blown glass art.

Price: $15 Duration: 60 - 90 minutes (with no temporary exhibit on the 3rd floor) Beautiful art museum with a large collection of Dale Chihuly blown glass in addition to another large glass display and collection of European and American paintings. This museums has fantastic descriptions accompanying each piece helping you to fully appreciate the art. These are among the best and most complete descriptions we have seen in any art museum and highly appreciate. Well worth a stop if you are in OKC. COVID: When we visited on a weekday in September 2022 it was not crowded though very few were wearing masks.

Fun gallery. Went to see the Chihuly glass, and was pleasantly surprised by the rest of the collection. The adjacent restaurant was very good. Only downside was expensive parking in nearby lots

This museum is hard to review because on one hand if you've never gone it's very nice, has beautiful contents, and the Chihuly glass works are inspiring. The building and eating section have a nice aesthetic to it. BUT here's my dilemma; I've gone here for school a few times (like 7 years old and up), and even as an adult it's a nice place to take your date but the art's never changed in like a 20 year span. So I have pictures of different dates I went on with different women next to basically the same structures or paintings. But I digress; it's a very nice place to go to for the first time.

Went to see the Dale Chihuly gallery. It was fantastic. A must see. Note: Be sure to watch the documentary on the wall just outside the entrance. It is 50 minutes but at least see some of it. Very interesting about how the pieces are made. Did not see the other exhibits.

Great place to visit if you are on the jury duty reserves list. I had an hour and a half lunch, so decided to walk over to the museum and enjoy the Pompeii exhibit (here through 10.17.21). Always love seeing the Dale Chihuly glass sculptures.

I always recommend that people visit the OKCMOA. I LOVE it. We always have a good time checking out the exhibits. The Chihuly exhibit is my favorite even though it seems smaller than it used to be. I still love his work & it was great to see some new pieces.

The art and activism + fighters for freedom exhibits were my favorite. The museum did a wonderful job featuring the work of black artists honoring black history. This was my first time here and found it a pleasant offering in OKC.

We went to see the Dale Chihuly's exhibit. We have been following him for several years now. Never disappointed. The museum is is very nice and the staff were very helpful and polite. If it wasn't such a long drive we would go ago.

Enjoyed 1st time visit using library Experience Passes, otherwise, would not have been happy BUT I'm not "artsy fartsy" ;-) The glass artwork section was phenomenal but make SURE you stay behind the tape on floor or you WILL be reprimanded but the "hawks" I mean staff. Did not pay to see any speciality exhibits. The painting artwork section was bit of a snooze, wasted space. The large Waterford crystal chandelier was unique, pretty. Gift shop, pretty darn expensive but nice variety. The woman taking tickets was GREAT & the one by chandelier as well; young others could learn from these two. Would only return if used free pass again. Once you've seen it....

Visited the OKCMOA for the first time. Recieved a tour of their newest exhibit, The Perfect Shot 👌. While there, checked out the #dalechihuly exhibit. They offered a FREE WEEK during spring break in partnership with #themetropolitanlibrary.

I had high hopes going in, based on the price of admission ($15/adult) but there wasn’t a lot of art to explore. The exhibits were neat but I’ve been to much bigger art museums that were free to visit. No comparison to the Nelson in Kansas City, which doesn’t charge admission.

I love everything about this place. I've been through the exhibits, watched movies, had lunch at the Cafe. The "Who done it" night was an amazing date night. The crossover between the actual art and the performing artists was truly a treat. Amazing staff and facilities. If you are in OKC and you don't stop by and get the full museum experience you have missed out.

It's a small museum. Even though there are 3 floors, I was able to view the galleries on floors 2 & 3 in about an hour. Floor 1 is for the Pompei Exhibit only which requires an entry fee separate from the regular museum. I chose to view the museum itself so I could see the Dale Chihuly works. So stunning! His art is on the 3rd floor and takes up about a third of the space. There's nothing else to see up there. The second floor is the main section.
