Yikes!!! The pics look way tastier than the actual food. The chips was okay, salsa was blah, too many raw onions & cilantro. The drinks are affordable and good. Wife had the Hawaiian beef fajitas, awful. Meat was tough, no flavor whatsoever. The charro beans was clean and good and rice was tender. I had the 18 combination dinner with enchilada and crispy taco. The red sauce on the side is enchilada wasnโ€™t pleasant, more like Tapatio (red sauce mix with hot sauce) , crispy taco was okay, didnโ€™t care for the flavor of the meat. Just wasnโ€™t what we expected

I am a Marine 71 years old. Survived 31 days on a Ventilator and 6 months in the hospital. I came here today my first time and told them that. I asked for queso for chips and on my enchiladas. No one told me it was an extra charge I went to the register and was charged almost 5 dollars for the side and 2 dollars for the cheese on my plate. I explain to the manager that I did not know and it was my first time nobody cared there was no discount. Had they told me it was five dollars I would not have ordered it. You're a competitor down the street does not charge for that so most people do not know. Horrible service

This is a wonderful fun place to have a family dinner! All the food was amazingly delicious and the staff was so friendly! We are already planning our next family dinner there.

Lazy Donkey has a few locations in the OKC metro and the OKC downtown location has become our favorite. Over the years, Mrs. Flip Out and I have tried a variety from their menu and everything is good. This visit was no exception. You must try the white Queso. Whether you get it plain, or with ground beef or beans, you cannot go wrong with any option. Mrs. Flip Out tried the Lazy Donkey Especial and if you enjoy a shrimp dish, give this a try. The cilantro sauce was delicious with the shrimp and mushrooms. The Caesar was very fresh and the steamed beans were delicious. I had the Enchiladas Mexicanos. It comes with three different sauces which each one stands on its own and were delicious. The service is always amazing and accommodating. Well worth stopping by to eat.

The interior of the restaurant is really nice. I had quesadillas fajita chicken and coke. It was tasty. Enough for a person. Serving was really great.

I ordered the molcajete and my hubby ordered the taco salad along with a classic margarita on the rocks. The salsa and chips were wonderful. Salsa tasted homemade and was fresh. My food order was enormous in my opinion. I got to take home leftovers. I'll definitely go back again very soon. This is my 4th Mexican restaurant that I visited in Oklahoma and my preferred one so far. This will be one of our date night spots going forward

Food was served fast but flavor is not to accurate to Mexican food, place as very nice decorations, the only thing I didn't like was that the waitress take my change before I planned to give a tip๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿคท

The service was good I think we had a little bit of a communication problem but other than that it was fine but it was still fine actually. The margaritas were delicious. Food was also great

When I saw the best queso I was excited, not so much the price when most places I've been to around here just give it with the chips & salsa. The salsa was okay kind of bland. The chips were good and tasted fresh. Issue I have; I ordered a chicken chimichanga without onions, even asked the waiter for them NOT to be in my food, and that I was allergic. Showed him my plate that there were indeed onions, and all he said was sorry. He didn't attempt to remove it from the bill. Will most definitely not return. Sad because we came in for my husband's birthday and it was meh. The food was okay, lacking in flavors. Beans were about the only decent thing and queso. The place is bright and colorful on the inside! Very inviting, however, it felt like the staff was just staring you down at the bar while they figured out what to do with their time...

Absolutely amazing & authentic Mexican food with a taste that satisfies me & my wife. Their Habenero Salsa, Spinnach dip, chips, Spinnach Enchilada, Chicken Pollo Loco... My tummy was full. Had to walk a few laps around Scissorstrail Park after dinner. Keep up the good work! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ˜Š

Came here with a group of co-workers. The food & service was good. Myself and a few of my co-workers thought it was a bit pricey (could be due to inflation). For 1 enchilada w/rice & beans & a drink (agua de jamica) it was $15+ (not including tip). Two of my male co-workers thought the portion size was small as well. I would say they could have added a bit more rice & beans or some sort of guacamole salad like they did with the other plates.

Food was good, they grilled the carnitas as you do but left the meat in chunks and didn't shred it before grilling and there was a juicy hunk of fat with it. #lazy Mom's enchiladas was nice. $5 for a little white queso cup but it was good inspite of being over-priced. Also for some reason it was so hot in there like the heater was on. I hate it when restaurants are hot. The house salsa was decent but no heat whatsoever.

Went with a group of 4 to get dinner. We were seated immediately and were brought chips and salsa. The food come out within a reasonable time and everything was delicious. Everyone at the table was very happy with their food. The Modelo beers were perfect in the icy cold glass. The decor of the restaurant is very nice.

My new favorite Mexican place! We got the white queso to share, which we learned was voted the best in OKC, and I can see why. Highly recommend! I got Yolanda's Special (3 chicken enchiladas topped with cheese sauce with a side of rice and guacamole salad) and since we had the appetizer I had enough leftover to bring home for lunch the next day. My partner got Carne Asada and he didn't love it, but said he's excited to try something else the next time we go. Will definitely be back.

Four stars Mexican Restaurant based on my first visit which was take out. Salsa for the chips was very tasty, chips weren't bad either. Ordered Chili Colorado and Texas Fajitas, both items were very good. I liked the Chili Colorado better than another place that I've frequented many times. When I got there it was before dinner crowd so I got my order quickly. I look forward to returning so I can try other items, maybe eat in.

The staff are nice & the place is clean & itโ€™s beautiful inside. The food was pretty good, itโ€™s not the best Iโ€™ve ever had, but good none the less. I think my favorite part was the way it looked & the name. I did love the Christmas tree.

The customer service was amazing and the chips were out of this world. SO GOOD! The food was quite possibly the best food Iโ€™ve had in a year. The chips were especially good, but the fajita chicken takes the cake. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and was cooked in the best mouth watering way. Their beans were great. Their rice was amazing, and the price was very reasonable. 10 out of 10 would go again. Highly recommend.
