Great place to learn about deaf culture. A great display of ASL throughout history. Everyone is very friendly. You walk through an exhibit that shows deaf artists , pictures of the school throughout history, and devices used for communication. Would highly recommend going.

I have been there twice and I always learn something. The volunteers are wonderful. They need your support! Give them a visit! It is free. You can donate!

If you are a member of the Deaf community or simply would like to learn about Deaf culture this is the place for you. We had a great time and learned so much.

One of a kind experience. The only thing is that the exhibits are a bit dated. The volunteer working acknowledged that, and said it is an ongoing process.

Great place to start getting acquainted with the Deaf community. Lots of history in written form. Also movies to personalize your experience. An art exhibit further enhances the story. This was my second visit and I still haven't seen everything. If you are curious or even familiar with the Deaf community, take a visit to this museum. You won't be disappointed!

Very interesting. We did the guided tour which I didn't think added much value. This is the only deaf museum in the country. Probably take about 1-2 hours to walk through and read the highlights

Their annual Holiday sale was great! Lots of creative items, museum was interesting and baked good for sale looked delicious! The green tomato bread I bought was awesome!

To get a 100% visit of this place, you must request a tour guide! Don’t just walk around and look at displays, the tour guide gives you stories behind them!

Really quick free museum with clear displays and some interesting facts. Not the best museum in the area, but if you live in town it's worth a stop.
