We liked the beach. Its connected with Veterans Memorial Park and has three parking spots. The 1st section is a kids park and a long boardwalk goes along with beach. But It doesn't let you to the waters. The second section is bigger parking from where you can walk to beach. Third is the veterans park section nice big picnic fun family area for kids with swings and sprinklers. Sitting areas, basketball & baseball parks, good for big kids too. It has nice clean bathrooms and yiu can walk from there to the beach as well. Beach is a bit rocky but clean. Lots of fishes to catch. Good fun place of weekends in summers. No snacks or food available so bring your own. Overall good fun.

The park for the kids was ok, but the beach was dirty and smelly, dead crabs everywhere. Not a beach to swim.

I live near here and it's nice. Trash is always an issue but some of that comes out of the water. If you are expecting Hawaii or the Caribbean, don't come here. It's NJ near Staten Island. Summer is not the best time. To many people, insects and flys. The trails are short and it connects to a mile long sea wall. The wall is great day or night. Clean up after yourself, kids and dogs. I always bring trash out with me. People can be gross. The park can be a half day event. It connects to other parks and is a ton of fun walking around. Read up on the history of the area. Bring your kids, a picnic or a book. It is also one of the most boring places you are going to go to. A playground, ame barking and bathrooms available. Pictures are from this morning. I do love this place.

Nice boardwalk along the waterfront. Great wetlands for bird watching, nice sunsets. Nice playground and adequate parking. Lots of people were fishing on this beach.

Dog friendly, kind of cluttered from storms with debris but my dogs enjoyed it. Nice length for waking

The fishing here is hit or miss and not alot of room when there are several people fishing. The jettie gets fished hard and the bottom fisherman pretty much crowd the beach. I managed a fish but I have been back 3 times and haven't seen anything caught.

It's a nice park. But I didn't find any restroom.

Surprising find, and I loved it. It was not crowded when I went, there were barely 10 people around. There's a playground for the kids. Bring a chair and a book. I do not know if you can swim in the water. Sand area was pretty clean when I went, though a little rocky. I didn't see any bathrooms, but other reviews say there are port-a-potties.

We really enjoyed. No wave, bit clean water. There is enough space for camp and mobile restroom. The main reason I like because at the point the whale creek joins with sea. There are two children play area near with two free parking one after another.

Great hidden little gem that has a very nice playground, spray park, and of course a little trail (3 minute walk) that leads to the beach and ocean. Highly recommended.

I have seen this park change over the past 40 years from no park to what it is now. Just a 10 min walk from where I grew up. Beach across the street, swamps behind, Whales creek to your right, and a 3 min walk to Treasure Lake.

Very nice and clean for the kids. Gets packed around the afternoon if it's nice out. So come early 🫂

Nice little park with a raised walk that overlooks the water. Beautiful place to go.

Awesome place. Only need a changing room for people who shower in beach. Even though they have restrooms near in the children's park. But, still it's an big beach in a city obviously it's better to have a changing room for people.

It was a gloomy day when we stopped by and walk around and play. Very clean and very spacious parking spaces. Not enough benches tho.
