I usually love this restaurant, my wife and I would frequent there at least once a week, but tonight was not so good. We took the whole family for my sons birthday, we were both craving the tomahawk steak. It's been great before when we've had it but it came out overcooked tonight. Steak is best when cooked medium rare, this came out closer to well done, so disappointing. The owner came over and said he could cook us another one but it would be a while. Mind you service was extremely slow tonight and we were already there 2hrs or that would have been the ideal choice. The other choice was just eat the 2 center pieces, they were cooked slightly less than well, and enjoy the sides, and he would discount the steak half off. And the last choice was just send it back and call it a wash, that's what I should have done. But I decided to eat a little bit of the steak discounted at half price. My wife and I spend a lot of money there and it would have been nice if he comped the steak. I won't be going back for a while. Maybe time to try the sister resteraunts. Owner not very friendly

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. The waiters are friendly and kind and the food is to die for. We celebrated my mother's 60th birthday with a table of at least 20 25 people and it couldn't have gone better. We had 6 or 7 family style appetizers and everyone chose their own dish. The restaurant even made the most beautiful cake! It was a wonderful night thank you!!

Hot apps for 2 were great, got to taste a little of 5 different items. The special halibut with lobster risotto, was awesome but just wish it had some bigger checks of lobster. The crab stuffed bronzino was traffic. Wife loved the toffee cake, the chocolate cake was average. Next time will order the in-house made dessert, I'm sure it will be more fresh. The cappuccino was also excellent. Overall loved the food. The service was great but was a bit slow as it was a full house. As I had no other plans it was fine. Will definitely go back.

Best Italian restaurant in New Jersey, maybe even in NYC. I had the plum tomato sauce, with basil and garlic. Fantastic. All home made. My wife had the Branizo filet over Rosetta, unbelievable good. Our server was Mike, he was friendly and helpful Cannot recommend enough. Remember to BYOB.

This place is absolutely outdated. It's an American country restaurant using a lot of Italian names. The price is reasonable, and the portion is super big! Unfortunately the pasta is over cooked. Their chicken marsala and chicken francese are the same chicken dish with different sauces. The sauces in general are too salty. Desserts are not impressive at all, supermarket grade. Need some big makeover from the kitchen.

Really shocked at how this place has 4.5 stars. Came here on a Saturday evening called 20 min prior to going and they had plenty of space available. Now I know why they had so much availability. The food was downright disgusting. Some of the nastiest calamari I’ve ever eaten due to how dry it was. My filet mignon was tough and chewy. Not sure where they source their meat from but they should definitely change vendors. My wife ordered penne a la vodka and that was the most okay thing we ate which was also sub par. Truly and thoroughly disappointed and wish I went to Taco Bell instead. Do not waste your money here. Go to steakhouse 85 in New Brunswick instead or order in for the night.

This is the sister restaurant of Fresco’s in East Brunswick and it’s another winner. The service was not on par with Fresco’s this night, but it was probably due to our server having a party of 15 to serve. However, we weren’t neglected whatsoever as other servers along with other support staff did their best to ensure we had our meal served on time and some refills on our drinks. We started off with some crab stuffed mushrooms which were excellent and highly recommended. We ordered veal Marsala and a seafood capellini dish. Both were excellent and served in large portions, more than we could eat. The veal was tender and had a very nice sauce. The Seafood capellini had large pieces of lobster (more than expected), about 10-12shrimp and ample pieces of mussels along with clams, both in the shell (garlic and butter were prevalent 👍). Both dinners were excellent and had to take home leftovers of both. Would have given 5 stars, but the service just wasn’t that great this night, as indicated by the large party which detracted from our experience. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant and will continue to patronize it again. BTW, it’s BYOB, in case you need to know. (Liquor store just next door). Ponte and Fresco’s are just a shade off from 5 stars, however I can’t rate it as such due to this site’s rating system 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. Either site is worthy of a try, very good and never disappoints. Basically, Ponte is 4.7 and Fresco’s is 4.9 IMO. Enjoy!

A lot of specials, food was delicious and the waitress was awesome. Very attentive and super friendly. The courses were timed perfectly, and the coffee was served at the exact same time as the dessert. Italian cheesecake was amazing. Chicken cutlets were not breaded for the chicken cutlet Parmesan which was a little disappointing. BYOB

Held a family reunion here and it is BYOB which I love! The food was outstanding from the appetizers of calamari, the salad, penne with vodka sauce, and great chocolate cake and cappuccino. The service was phenomenal and three private area for our 35 person reunion was well laid out and spacious. Highly r recommend this place!

What an amazing restaurant with excellent food and service. 7 minutes from home too. The Veal Chop was perfect and my wife’s ravioli was delicious. Super friendly and amazing wait staff. We will be coming back again. We love Old Bridge.

For a meal worth the price. Spend your money at this little hole in the wall of a restaurant that I did not know existed. We got the dinner for two which is a little pricey but it was WORTH EVERY PENNY. Delivery, taste, quality, freshness… Do not miss a chance to try out this place. You will not be disappointed and the serving staff is darling.

My salmon dish lacked presentation and flavor. The grilled veggies were too thick for my liking. The crab cakes were decent, but I swear I think they had filler even though we were told it was just lump crabmeat. Very expensive in my opinion, considering the quality of the fare. Sorry, I won't be eating there again.

BYOB! I had dinner with a group of 7 and all of us had a nice time. Our server Steve was a prince and took very good care of us. Standout menu choices were the stuffed mushrooms, fried zucchini appetizer (huge!), scallops, cod and crab cakes. We didn’t try any of the steaks but I’ll have my eye on them next time.

Went here for my step daughters birthday and everything was great. Even tho we were there for over 3 hrs the staff was very attentive and always brought what you asked for. The food was delicious as always. It's a BYOB. There is a liquor store in the same plaza. Great place for a dinner or out to celebrate a special occasion. I don't eat seafood and a lot of their food on the menu was seafood but they have other things too. I recommend everything!

One of my favorite Italian restaurants. Great atmosphere and attentive staff. The food is always on point for both in restaurant and catering. It's a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions or to enjoy a great meal.

My Wife and i loved Ponte Vecchio until this past Saturday where we had a nightmare Christmas Eve..Days before the holiday we ordered and paid in full for our Christmas Eve dinner which included an expensive but wonderful Tomahawk steak that i have purchased from here many times..We made it very clear to not put any type of sauce on it or anything other than serving it plain..The Woman Angela assured us it would be just the way we ordered it….Until Christmas Eve came along and we picked up our order and brought it home to find this steak dripped in this garlic cream butter that cheapened the meat…We called right back when we got home and some guy answered stating he was the Manager and saying because it was a “high ticket item”…..He couldnt make me a new steak so if i drove back in the freezing cold on Christmas Eve and returned the steak to him he would give a full refund but if i wanted to keep the steak as is dripped in the garlic butter i would get 25 dollars back…until we went back and forth and he put me on hold multiple times to then tell me i can get a refund for only half the price of the steak…I have purchased this Tomahawk time after time and love this Restaurant so i was beyond shocked the options that were given to me..It was Christmas Eve there wasnt much open so i agreed to keep the steak and get the half price refund…I doubt we will ever go back again and i doubt ill be recommending this place to my co-workers and friends based on this horrendous customer service..The words “High ticket item” that the Manager used and in his arrogant tone made me disgusted knowing ive purchased this “High ticket item” MANY MANY TIMES! Awful way to treat a loyal customer!

Very nice place. Comfortable and yet up-scale enough. No liquor license so it's BYOB. which is better on dinner accounts as we opened 3 different bottles. The stage is very accommodating and polite and there to open and help with your wine. The food is delicious. The menu is impressive.

Costas was our server. Had an amazing meal. Tried a few apps and dinner was off the charts. Husband had branzino. My son and I shared the tomahawk steak with 2 lobster tails, creamed spinach, lobster Mac and cheese and onion rings. One slice of the tomahawk was like eating a whole steak. No room for dessert, but plenty left over for tomorrow! Will def be back! Loved it. Kudos to you Costas. Thanks for a really enjoyable experience!!

Dinner was exceptional!!! Our waiter VITO was authentic and excellent and knew his menu and never a water glass empty. Tomahawk steak for my husband was a little fatty but cooked perfectly. Halibut was fresh tasty and all entrees served on time and hot. Not rushed and acoustics are better than Fresco’s which we also love. We recommend 👍🏻

I’ve gone here three times in the last 2 years and the service is declining rapidly. Yesterday we waited over an hour for ravioli and pork parmigiana. Which my husband repeated 3 times and it was still wrong. When my husband brought it to the waiters attention, he said “oh I can put cheese on it”. Definitely will never return there. The food quality has also declined over the years. Sad because we used to love this place but between the long wait times (our reservation was for 5 yesterday and it was empty when we got there) and the lack of good service, asked 4 people for water and never got any, I don’t recommend

I recently had lunch here when the restaurant next door was undergoing renovations. I am so glad that I did because my meal was delicious. I had the eggplant rollatini with penne. It was very filling and satisfying. The service was impeccable. There were many tempting dishes in the specials.

We were there for a Christening dinner party. Food was good and the service was excellent. Young waitstaff couldn't do enough for you. Made sure they got you whatever you needed. Really outstanding. We had a very enjoyable afternoon.

We recently celebrated two birthdays with a party of 13 in attendance The food was absolutely delicious and the wait service was timely and precise. We were very happy with the restaurant experience and will definitely return.

It was nice. Great if you are looking for a byob. Our waiter was extremely nice, he seemed a bit nervous, but did an awesome job. They have A LOT of specials. I had a hard time listening to all of them. The food was good though and the atmosphere is nice. Great place for a night out with friends or date night.
