DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY!!! It's a house of horrors that should be closed down. I was in the process of obtaining a hidden camera through the state and the day before I was to go and get it she passed away there. The horrific part of it was that she had a DNR (do not resuscitate) order and they lost it! My Mother was brought back to life- against her written wishes, only to suffer another 24 hours in the hospital. Our family and my Mother were put through hell because of their incompetence. Those awful memories will remain with us forever. I was getting the camera as my Mother was repeatedly giving us reports of being man handled and yelled at. We had a private care giver going there daily that was less than happy with the care she was and was not receiving in the facility. Dietary guidelines were not followed for her conditions and I can't count how many times I went there and she had not a drop of water. Unfortunately she passed before I could get to the bottom of things and find another facility for her- we were going to move her regardless. I found several of the aides less than compassionate and down right rude. People like that have no business being in health care- they are disgusting, vile individuals. I only gave one star as I had to to post this review. This place shouldn't have anyone giving them any stars- THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS! STAY AWAY!!!

If I could give this place a zero I would. Please do not send any family member to this facility. We had a horrific experience where my mother was throwing up for hours and she had to call me for help because no one came to her aide as well as had to beg them to send her to the hospital. they also threw my 82 year-old father on the bed where he is now experiencing severe pain. This place should not be in operation. We tried to transfer my father out and they took all day. How could a facility be so dysfunctional is beyond me. There is complete lack of care and compassion for their residents. I will be reporting this facility to the department of health.

I’ve had many problems with this place. My grandmother is a resident at Roosevelt care center. As one ages, foods become less palatable, so the variety of food she eats has decreased. Since she does not speak any English and has trouble communicating with people, the dietitians took it upon themselves to create a menu for her to avoid wasting food. Wanting to avoid food waste is very understandable, however, she was served 1/2 cup of a vegetable for lunch, which she ends up not eating and I honestly don’t blame her because the food here is substandard. It is unacceptable that the facility did not contact us instead, so that we can make a menu of foods she would eat, as other residents often do. Another problem I’ve encountered is that the other residents wander around other rooms and take my grandmothers belongings. When I confront the staff about about problems I encounter, they are extremely rude and had no sympathy for my grandmother. They barely look up from their computer screens to talk to me. All of this is honestly really disappointing and I hope they make some changes. Otherwise, the facility looks Pretty nice and has a lot of great landscaping.

Unfortunately, my grandmother came down with COVID in early January. She was transferred from the hospital to Roosevelt Care Center. She was in the COVID ward. Family was allowed to visit and be with her. The staff, especially Yvonne the respiratory therapist and Beatrice, a nurse, were so kind to my grandmother and my mother. Heartbreakingly, my grandmother did not survive, but I know the staff did all they could and you could really tell they cared very much about her and she was getting round-the-clock care and they did everything they could to make her comfortable once the prognosis was not good. I just want to give my thanks to the staff, her family truly appreciates it. In memory of Otilia Salagaj.

No words can express my family’s gratitude and sincere appreciation for the care my mom was given during her stay here. The entire staff treated my mom and my family with respect and understanding. The nurses and aides on the third floor were exceptional in their care for my mom. They treated her with dignity and such loving care every day. My mom had dementia and was on hospice and couldn’t communicate , and yet they still talked to her as if she could , right to the end of her life. They called my family whenever there was a concern if one of us weren’t there, which wasn’t often. They allowed us the time to be with my mom during her last days with us. We will forever be grateful to them. In loving memory of Joyce Wistuba ❤️

My husband George was a client at this facility on the third floor, room 364 for about 5 weeks, he left January 13th, 2022. Everyone was so caring and made sure all his needs were met as best they could. We have to give credit for his great care to Nurse Chin and Nurse Krysta, who knew his needs before he did. Maria who was there every morning making sure he was washed and “looking good” for me. Making him laugh and keeping his spirits up when he started getting stir crazy not being able to leave his room or get out of bed. And of course Ms. Juliana, who gave George his shower every Monday and cleaned him up numerous times during her shift, never making it seem like a chore. We would like to give thanks to all the staff as well. We would definitely recommend this facility, also it was kept very clean and sanitized.

I am extremely happy and satisfied with this facility. My mother is in the dementia unit and she is treated with kindness and respect. All the staff are very professional and I am alerted any time there are any concerns with my mother. The administration is doing a great job of keeping the families informed during these trying times. They have a zoom meeting every Monday which is very informative and comforting. I am so grateful to all the staff that take such great care of my mom. I would tell anyone looking for a facility for a loved one that Roosevelt at Old Bridge is the perfect blend of professionalism and caring.

Clean facility! Unfortunately all care centers are having a big turnover of employees. I find if I have any issues they are quickly addressed by the Administration. The permanent Nurses and C.N.A'S are very good and do the best they can. Friendly staff! Friendly Administration! Great activities offered and the ladies are wonderful. I'm satisfied with the facility and would definitely recommend.

Absolutely pleased with the care my mother has been given. All of the staff are very attentive and caring from the moment you walk through the front entrance. The doctors, nurses, assistants, housekeeping, therapists, social workers... they all work together to get your loved one back on their feet and self-reliant... in my case. The facility is very clean, it's new, the meals for the residents are quite tasty in my opinion. These kind of facilities can be quite challenging, but from what I've seen on a daily basis over close to three weeks, they do a great job.

Administrator lior threatened me on several occasions to change my review. So here goes. I was sent to Roosevelt from old bridge hospital for one reason. To finish up my antibiotics for one day. When i got there they told me mistakenly that i had 3 days left. And it turned out, they didnt even have one of the medicines In the 24 hours i wss there, noone answered the call bell until 4 hours later. I had to walk to the front desk and disturb lady on her cell if i wanted something Aftrr 10 at night. I was woken up by a nurse knocking loudly, asking me if I was collecting my pee. As i said no. Im going to the bathroom myself, he started feeling my lrg. I said what are you doing? And he left A half hour later he came into my room again asking me to see my iv tube. Which was disconnected at the time. He touched me again, left room and typically left my door wide open leaving me no shot of sleeping. I went to front desk. And said to him if he came into my room again there would be a problem The next morning another male nurse woke me up staring at me asked me if i needed a diaper change! I said tget he @$%^ out of room. I feel sorry for the older, more infirm patients who cant defend the against the attempted sexual abuse Threats incompetence and inappropriate touching. They will be hearing from my lawyer soon

I have been at Roosevelt Care Center since October. I am extremely pleased with the care I have received. The Staff, Administration, Nurses, Doctors, and Physicians Assistants, have all been extremely dedicated and very kind and caring. In addition, the PT staff is wonderful. As a result I am making very good progress. And the food is very good. It is obvious that the management really cares and does everything they can to make the residents’ stay comfortable and enjoyable. I am so glad that I picked Roosevelt Care Center for my rehabilitation needs after I got out of the hospital.

My sister has been at Roosevelt Care Center Old Bridge since the middle of October. I cannot say enough positive things about her stay there. The nursing, aides, physical therapists, receptionist, activities, administration, social workers are all outstanding. The facility is very clean and decorated to cheer both residents and their family. In addition the food is very good. My sister has received excellent care and compassion during her stay and is making very good progress towards coming home.

Wonderful staff: nurses, CNAs, clinical coordinator, business office, receptionists, cooks, maintenance; provided every need of our mother. This gave us all confidence and allowed us to enjoy the 95th year of her life. We will ever be grateful.

My Mom needed to go to a rehab center after a stay in the hospital. I chose Roosevelt Care Center and so glad that I did! The first people I communicated with was the front desk staff who were extremely kind and welcoming! I asked if they could call me when my Mom arrived , which was 9:30pm, and they did call! My Mom was initially one weekin isolation (Covid) and then 2 more weeks in a double room which had a solid wall divider so it was still pretty private. The nurses and staff were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The other staff(Dr, physician assistant, social worker, physical therapists) we’re all very kind and helpful. I visited my Mom everyday for the 3 weeks she was there and got to know the staff. Her main nurse Romatu was extremely efficient and caring, and one of our favorite aids, Tracy, was beyond excellent! Everyone else there was very kind and caring. The entire facility was kept spotless! They were always cleaning the floors, rooms etc. I would highly recommend Roosevelt Care Center!

We saw a few rehabs but Roosevelt care caught our attention at first site. Especially since they have all semi private rooms and the facility is very clean. Not to mention the staff takes excellent care of the patients and are very professional and courteous
