My brother James (PACO) passed away In September. He loved this place and it seemed like you all loved him too. I came in and I couldn’t stay because I was so blow away that his mass card and a pic of him was on your board on the wall. I can’t express how much that meant to me and my family! He might of been a crazy one but his heart was so big and loves everyone. I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! We miss him more than I can ever say but I know he loved all of you! Hopefully next time I can come and stay without being so emotional. Once again THANK YOU FOR HONORING HIS MEMORY.

Great vibe, huge selection of beer and spirits, live DJ on Friday was a blast. We will be back again soon for a drink at the bar and a bottle to take home. I had a terrific dirty martini from a super friendly and knowledgeable bartender.

I stopped in and stayed, BEST BAR great music, Great staff and the Owner super ... I can't imagine a better place for a good time... Bring your friends you will not be disappointed

This place gives racist vibes. Always eyeing you as you make a selection, barely will great you if you’re tan/black. Not friendly to non-black customers compared to white ones. Sad to see in this day in age. Went here multiple times before writing the review, have had the same experience many times.

This bar has transformed into the most authentically classy, welcoming and sophisticated bar this neighborhood has ever seen. Old Bridge is privileged to have an establishment as such at their finger tips. If you want to enjoy an evening of fun with a dash of modern entertainment and creative decor along with skilled staff, Sammy D’s is the place to go. They have a signature cocktail list meticulously manufactured by 5 star mixologists, dedicated bartenders who have incredible experience, live entertainment that cultivates an incredibly lively crowd and a layout that was so beautifully designed and renovated. This is the hotspot, my friends.

This bar is my all time favorite. We go here at least 2 times a week. The bartenders are super nice and so is the manager.

Very rude establishment . Used to visit quite often when it was Cooney’s. Had just left my sister in laws wake and figure we would stop in for a drink. Was with my wife and a few friends. No sooner than when we walked in, the owner approached my wife and said he couldn’t serve two people in my party. Didn’t explain why nor did he approach me and explain why. Just said he couldn’t serve them. I figured I would ask him personally and he repeated he can’t serve them. I was a little set back and was wondering why he would say that until one of the two asked if she wasn’t being served because she was black? Mind you she doesn’t drink and a woman in her 40’s. This is a disgusting way to run an establishment and the reason I could only leave 1 star instead of none

Sammy D’s is the perfect hometown bar! The owner Sammy is friendly and professional, the staff Carol, Cheryl and Sharon are fantastic to chat with and make great drinks, the place is clean, the atmosphere is welcoming and music is always playing! If you are in Old Bridge or a nearby town, you should totally check it out!

Sammy Do’s just finished a great new renovation - and with stocked bar and many tv’s with current sports, this is a great bar to get away from the house and enjoy some great drinks!!

Amazing transformation from the previous environment....my kudos to Sammy for steering the ship in the proper direction. Also amazing staff Sharon, Cheryl. Joann, Carol, Jenn, Alex, Tom....in my experience, ALL make a tremendous first impression for any newcomers, and have become good friends to all who have had the pleasure to get to know them.... I went to Sammy's a few weeks ago and the place is very upscale and nice. The owner Sammy, is so polite and professional. The staff is very helpful and quite pleasant. This is my go to place in Old Bridge.

We went there Saturday night for a birthday party, great people and awesome Dj.

My favorite place to hang. All ages are welcome. The staff is super friendly. They have an amazing DJ, (Angela) on Sat. nights. She does Karioke and sings as well. Angela is awesome and always makes you feel special. I believe they have drink specials one or 2 nights a week.The drinks are good, The beer is cold, the crowd is great and the staff is amazing. What more could you ask for? 😊

What a classy and relaxing atmosphere. My wife and I had a great time this past Saturday night. The staff was very attentive and helpful. To top it all off they had GREAT live entertainment! The *BBD Rhythm and Blues Band* kept the joint jumping with a fantastic mix of blues and rock standards. I definitely want to stop by again when they are around. No holds barred blues throw down.
