Overrated place because of TV broadcasting. Not value for money. INR 25 for very small size samosa like they’re running 5 star restaurant chain. INR 30 for 2 spoonful of Rabri and 1 piece of jalebi for INR 60. That’s overpriced as compare to taste and quantity and hygiene of place. Giving cold jalebi always for eating.

One of the most succulent jalebi I have had. Juicy inside and crochet on the outside. Two jalebis make 250 grand. They are huge. Must try.

The jalebi is okay okay but the rabdi is of very thin consistency and too bad in taste. I feel it’s overpriced and overhyped in 80 rupees price.

One of the best places to enjoy jalebis in Delhi is Old Famous Jalebi Wala in Chandni Chowk. I had the pleasure of visiting this shop and tasting their delicious jalebis. The jalebis are made with desi ghee and khandsari sugar, which give them a rich and authentic flavour. They are not too sweet or too oily, but just perfect. The jalebis are thick, juicy, and crispy, and they melt in the mouth with every bite. They are served hot and fresh, and they are very satisfying. The shop has been in operation since 1884, and they have maintained their tradition and reputation for over a century. They have loyal customers who come from far and wide to enjoy their jalebis. The staff is courteous and friendly, and they serve the customers with a smile. The service is quick and efficient, and the customers do not have to wait long. The shop is clean and hygienic, and they follow all the safety measures. The price is reasonable for the quantity and quality of the jalebis. They are worth every penny. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves jalebis or wants to try the best jalebis in Delhi. It is a must-visit shop for every jalebi lover.

Old famous Jalebi Wala is one corner shop that you wouldn’t want to miss when you are in Chandni Chowk, New Delhi. They serve the best jalebis in town, and are able to maintain the standards for a really long time. Along with the sweet dish, they have a couple of savouries as well. The huge crispy, juicy, and scrumptious jalebi is totally worth the wait and the price it comes along with as well. They add Rabri to this and the deadly combo is to die for. You just cannot miss this corner shop when you are walking around in Chandni Chowk. This is nothing like all the regular ones you find across the sweet shops in New Delhi. The samosas over here are pretty decent as well. They make them fresh and are crispy as well, with a nice aloo filling inside. The salt and masala are mixed well, and with the chutney it only tastes better. Be ready to wait in line for the jalebi, it is also recommended to have it while you are at the shop to have the best experience, as parcelling the jalebi will ruin the whole dish and the experience as well. You can find them at 1795, Dariba Corner, opp. Bank of Maharashtra, Dariba Kalan, Chandni Chowk, New Delhi, Delhi 110006.

Their Jalebi rabri is so good that you'll always find a queue of people waiting to get it. The service is pretty quick though so it's never actually a long wait.

One of the iconic jalebi place at chandani chowk Delhi, the taste was good, please try with rabri, without rabri you will find it over sweet, there are many duplicate shops as well, the authentic one is at the corner near the street towards jama masjid

Old famous Jalebi wala is located in Chandni chowk market at the end of Dariba kalan. The combination of hot Jalebi with Rabri is just mind blowing. It's a sugar rush with a taste which will never make you regret about the calories. Basically imagine a big hot Jalebi with cold Rabri that feels like sweet fire & ice with the texture of Jalebi & Rabri soothing your taste buds. It's most definitely inexpensive with 100% value for money.

It's a famous place for jalebis. One of my greatuncles used to work there and they used to sell rabdi jalebi for 50 paisa. Now it's over 50 rs. Nearest metro station is channi chowk of old delhi. And lal quila of violent line. One should try their jalebi atleast once if they want to taste old Delhi's sweets.

The legendary Rabri Jalebi was fine for a snack! The taste was perfect & quantity was adequate to eat as a snack! It costs 90 as on June 2023. I only didn't get the hype this place has gotten! One can definitely enjoy here or skip as desired!

This outlet has been there for decades, serving mouth watering sweets and street food. What's special about this place is that it prepares it's Jalebis and Samosas in pure desi ghee, which gives you enoughreasons to visit this place and grab a bite or two. Since the place is a takeaway, you have to stand and feast on your food. Do try the Rabri Jalebi combination which is just heavenly.

It’s tiny shop like others in old Delhi. They are serving legacy in taste. The most famous jalebiwala in Delhi. They serve you finger licking delicious jalebi. I have been there so many time as my college was near to old Delhi. I have tried matar Samosa also, it was impeccable in taste. Value for money place. Parking is again a big trouble in Old Delhi so it’s better to use public transport to reach there.

I had the pleasure of trying jalebis from Old Famous Jalebiwala in Chandni Chowk, and I can attest to their delicious taste. The standard jalebi plate was priced at 60₹ and included a single jalebi. If you're feeling more indulgent, there's an option for 80₹ with Rabri on top. The jalebi itself was a delightful treat. It struck a perfect balance, not being overly sweet and maintaining a great texture that wasn't soggy. At 60₹, it's a reasonable price for a flavorful jalebi that I would gladly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth.

Really very famous shop for jalebi. U need to get into a long line to get this, after a wait of 10-15 min we got our turn, and to my disappointment it didn't tasted as good. Personally i am fan of jalebi that have thin crust and are hot and crisp, it was warm and had really thick crust, not an imarti (imarti really tastes good) but outer layer as thick. The service was not bad. The atmosphere was typical of chandni chowk. Would not recommend it.

Must try once.. Desi ghee wali jalebi with rabri.. it's a life time experience.. I have never ever tasted such a delicious jalebi in this whole world.. it would cost around 75₹ per 100g jalebi with rabri maar ke.. I had tasted it first in 1997.. even after 23 years the taste is same.. This jalebi wala shop is at the Gurudwara lane of Chandni chowk market. Hardly 100 meters before from Laal quila side.. I would suggest one must taste it once..

It's awesome. 🤤 Jalebi are perfectly sweet with less sweet rabri, you will definitely enjoy This shop in Dariba kalan is serving jalebi since the 1884 and its just on corner so no problem in finding this shop. Nearest metro : chandni chowk or Lal quila Min 100 gm you have to take from this shop as mentioned there in the shop. But they are just awesome.

The jalebi is authentic and delicious dipped in Desi ghee. You have 2 options, whether you can have it with Rabri or without it. With Rabri, its ₹75 per plate. The jalebi would definitely be worth trying but I didn't like their Samosa much. It wasn't that special and the size was much like mini samosa. For samosa, I'd recommend visiting Annapurna Bhandar opp. Gurudwara.

They serverd me cold jelabi , even the hot one was on the same serving counter. Minimum jalebi rs:90 with rabri extra rs:30 for parcel. The rabri taste is very normal. Less sweet. The jalebi taste was like exactly authentic paalbun (named as milkbun but it's a full palm size spongy fried bun dipped in sugar syrup) of alanganallur (Madurai). It's a total disappointment for me. I travelled 14km to taste jalebi instead i get the sugar coated milk bun. I didn't like the taste. Overrated.not worth. Even I cook well.

The jalebi's are very delicious. But in my view it is little bit overpriced. Jalebi's here are 600 Rs per kg in 90 Rs. You will get only one jalebi with one spoon of rabri on it. Overall I enjoyed eating jalebi here.

Hot and fresh Jalebi's in the heart of Chandni Chowlk definitely worth trying. The prices are on higher side but considering its located in legendary area it is worth a shot. Jalebis were made in desi ghee and can be ordered with rabari along with. Must try if some one is visiting this place in winters.

Famous shop at chandni chowk. Jalebi and rabbdi sold here is too much tasty and made of pure ghee and pure ingredients. I am not sure about samosha and other but Rabbdi jalebi is a must try item.

  • 5/5 Tanuj S. 6 months ago on Google
I had everything that they sell here. I would recommend jalebi without rabdi. I didn't like the taste of rabdi. And matar samosa which has matar fillings inside. The chutney was tasty. The jalebi and matar samosa gave a unique experience. For jalebi I can vouch that its the best, at least as far as I have eaten. For jalebi it's a must, must, must have.

Very old and very famous Jalebi shop at Chandni chowk area. Its a small corner shop but people come here becoz over the time it has maintained its taste. Although the price has gone very high and presently it's Rs. 600 per kgm. Jalebis here are thick and big in size and sugar syrup quantity is just what is required.

One of the trademark eatery at Chandini chowk it doesn't disappoints you with an astonishing combo of garma garam jalebi and cold rabri. The combo tastes awesome here as both jalebi and rabri comprises of amazing flavours. They prepare the jalebis in desi ghee. No complains whatsover from the taste. Just remember that place is cash only. The only complain is a bit higher price. A must visit place for food lovers in Chandini Chowk.

A brilliant place to have jalebi. Would recommend jalebi with rabri. Prices are reasonable. They also serve samosa, but didn't try as I am already disappointed by the samosa that Delhi has. This shop was started in 1884 and has been there since then. This shop is just outside the entrance ot dariba kalan. You can easily sport the place or ask anybody about the way to jama masjid from Chandni chowk (first shop on the right side is this one). Try going there in evening as the weather and setting of Chandni chowk adds to the vibes.

Overhyped place as most of the places tend to become with time. Went there in winter morning to have a taste of piping hot jalebis but was served cold jalebis cooked earlier. No option of getting them reheat or wait for freshly cooked. And highly over priced.

Nearest metro station is "Lal Quila". There is no parking here and there on the road . You have to park a vehicle on the nearest jama masjid parking center. Now lets come to the jalebi - Size : big and moti (never judge a book by its cover) so Taste : it is delicious but somewhere its not that much too bad or too good . You have to order min 100gm and its price is Rs 50 , overall price - 500/kg (may be differ) So yes, you may try.

A must visit place in Old Delhi. Their speciality is Jalebis. The big sized Jalebis are made in desi ghee. Cost is Rs50 for 100gm ( without yogurt/rabdi ) . I recommend you to have a taste of it without yogurt/rabdi as this will give you the real tase of their Jalebis.
