Haldiram the undoubtedly number one brand for Indian Sweets and snacks. Recently visited Chandni Chowk, Delhi outlet with family. Haldiram have wide variety of sweets - Ghee sweets, Khoya sweets, Milk sweets, Dry fruits sweets collection & Bengali sweets, gift packs and snacks like different Kachori, Pakoras, Dhokla & Patties. Ground floor has billing counter, sweets counter, gift packs display and ready to eat snacks like Samosa etc. First floor has sitting area with prepaid coupon counter & delivery counter with self service. We ordered Chole Bhature, Raj Kachori both are awesome in taste. Lastly we purchased Kaju Katlee for home which is my favourite sweet. Overall a good experience & up to expectations.

Rates are high and quantity is less. We ordered chole bhature, pao bhaji, dosa and chilli garlic noodles. Dosa and pao bhaji were good but chole bhatura was dry..& not upto the mark. Noodles were spicy but yummy and has less quantity. Our total was near 1000 rupees.

This is a large sized Haldiram's outlet in the busy Chandni Chowk area. The location is easily accessible by road and public transport, one must prefer the latter option though. Food and preparation is nice and quality has been consistent over the years. We visited here whenever we were in the area, years ago. It can be crowded at times and one must wait for their turn to order, hence one can avoid coming here if crowds are to be avoided. Overall highly recommended.

Highlights: Its a good restaurant kind of a setup where you will get fresh food, sweets and snacks. Taste and quality match the standards of Haldirams and the price is also very attractive. Staff is nice and cordial. Please note that they don't have special packaging for travel so only buy dry snacks if you are planning to get something by train, flight or bus. My picks: Chole bhature, Mattar Kachori, Sandwich dhokla, Anjeer kalakand, Malai laddoo, Ras malai, Samosa, Gol gappe and Raj Kachori

Very reputed haldirams outlet in chandni chowk.Very bad service. Very big lines for cash orderinh. I ordered through scan and payed online. I ordered pao bhaji, chole bhature and raj kachori , pao bhaji tasted good but gave only one pao according to price the pao was not sufficient for 1 person, chole bature taste was also good but bhature was little crispy as I like soft bhatura. No ac working on both the floors and only one waiter for the cleaning.poor service And when I asked the lady manager why ac is not working she told me that there is only 2 ac working.

Perfect Haldirams outlet right on the Chandni chowk street - 2 min walk from Lal Quila. This is a 4 story building where upper 3 floors are for dining. Same classic Haldirams taste, though service is little rough and late but that's considerable since this street is very very crowded and sometimes the crowd in this store is uncontrollable.

They have good covid protocols for entry but on 2nd floor the seating is very close. So it's good to pack and take or for delivery but would still avoid for dine in unless the vaccinations 2nd dose reach more that 70 80 percent of population.

The best and most hygienic fast food restaurant and snack centre in chandni chowk. Located at a walkable distance from red fort, easily accessible. If you're coming by car, you'll have to park far away. The place is extremely clean and a wide range of food options available. Ground floor is just snacks and deserts, first floor is proper dine-in. Service is very fast, staff is very humble and helpful. Price is slightly on the higher side, but considering the quality of the food, the place and the overall experience, it's worth it.

It is situated within walking distance from Chandni Chowk Sis Ganj Gurudwara. This Haldiram outlet is the one-stop solution for your cravings. This place maintains hygiene & proper sanitization. It has a lot of space actually two floors for a seating area so you don't have to wait in queues. But it takes 15-20mins to get the food prepared. Loved the food, if you want to dine in. :) is very tasty!!! first of all, you need to pay for the food at the cash counter, if you need to buy 8 items, they will give you separate tokens for each item, you need to go to the respective counter which is mentioned on the token and wait for your order, chaat items are must-try, cleanliness, great taste, and fast order are some of the qualities of haldirams. less chance of getting a seat easily Because it is available in Chandni Chowk market and one has to wait a lot to go to the washroom here. The first impression is that the place is big and has a very decent selection of Menu along with ready-to-eat packed offerings. They have adequate seatings for groups and are punctual in their opening and closing time. Very suitable place for early breakfast if you are in the area. Though I felt the ordering and billing were slow. Still nice experience Haldiram was founded in 1941 by Ganga Bishan Agarwal, fondly known as Haldiram Ji in his household; as a retail sweets and namkeen shop in Bikaner, Rajasthan. In order to drive expansion, the company's first manufacturing plant was started in Calcutta (now Kolkata). In 1970, a larger manufacturing plant was established in Jaipur. Another manufacturing plant was established in New Delhi, the capital of India, in the early 1990s. In 2003, the company began the process of developing convenience foods to be marketed to consumers. In 2014, Haldiram's was ranked 55th among India's most trusted brands according to the Brand Trust Report; a study conducted by Trust Research Advisory. The company has grown at a tremendous pace over the years and in 2017 it was crowned as the country's largest snack company, surpassing all other domestic and international competitors. Haldiram products are available in more than 80 countries.

The food is oh-so- delicious! But avoid going during peak hours since it is tooo crowded and you'll have a tough time figuring things out. Our table was in mild disarray but we had to adjust with it. Even the staff members cannot be held responsible because the crowd is just too much to deal with. P.s. A really cool tech savvy element i saw was that there are no physical menus! You scan the QR code on your table and you can find the menu on your screen. Now how cool is that?!!

My recent dining experience at Haldiram's in Chandni Chowk provided a flavorful journey through delectable Indian cuisine, although accompanied by some service-related challenges. Situated in the heart of Old Delhi, the restaurant offers a gastronomic respite amid the historical bustle of Chandni Chowk. The culinary offerings at Haldiram's were undoubtedly a highlight. The menu presented a diverse array of mouthwatering Indian dishes, each dish boasting authentic flavors and quality ingredients. From street food favorites to traditional delights, the taste was commendable, showcasing the rich culinary heritage that Haldiram's is renowned for. However, my visit was marred by service-related issues, particularly with the table order scan system. Technical glitches resulted in a manual purchase process, which disrupted the otherwise smooth flow of service. Despite this hiccup, the staff remained courteous and apologetic, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction. The location of Haldiram's in Chandni Chowk is undeniably advantageous. Surrounded by the historical charm of Old Delhi, the restaurant provides a perfect setting for those looking to combine a cultural experience with a delightful meal. The vibrant atmosphere outside adds to the overall ambiance, creating a unique dining environment.

Me and my wife were very reluctant to visit haldiram chandani chawk. But we were hungry so wanted to have something. But after we entered we realized they are following social distancing properly and following all protocols to maintain hygiene. And I want to appreciate the security guard who is very prompt and didn't hesitate to apprehend any one who was not wearing mask properly. Let it be the visitor or staff. So, We had a peace of mind while eating at Haldiram chandni chawk.

A place for quick bite in Chandni Chowk Market. I have visited Haldiram's outlet in Patna but the taste I found here is something awesome. I ordered Special thali which cost you around 350 bucks and Manchurian rice. Inside thali You will get paneer kadhai, daal makhni, raita, papad, pickles, gulab jamun, vegetable, and bread. Taste of all are finger licking but Dal Makhni has some special taste. I am not a Manchurian lover but after eating Manchurian rice I would say I am Love in. There isnot table service rather a self service. The only thing that I don't like is space and this place isn't spacious and I waited long time to grab a seat. Washroom is at 3rd floor. Cleaniness is so so.

This Haldiram isn't about food It's about hunger and quality food, when u r doing endless shopping in Chandni Chowk. I barely remember the food I eat here but what I do remember is the fact that it filled my tummy on multiple occasions when I had been walking in the scorching heat doing wedding shopping. But then it has its own cons. You need to be 101% lucky to find a vacant chair when u go to the sitting area. Then there is long queue for ordering and then picking up as well. Everytime I walk in, I see that the Haldiram is all packed. And, at times there dishes are out as well. Bhai log toh fir khol lo na bada sa Haldiram. What's stopping you?

The ambiance of the place is clean, well-lit, and welcoming. The staff is polite and attentive. But in peak hours it is over crowded so try to avoid during peak hour. You may have to wait more than 40 minutes to get your food. Coming to the food, it was delicious. I tried their famous chole bhature, which was served piping hot and tasted heavenly. The menu is quite extensive, offering a wide range of vegetarian options.

Food was great. Unfortunately staff are rude, incompetent and dishonest. I was short changed by the cashier twice.....who also got my order wrong and over charged me. At the food counter I was asked to move to one side and the server proceeded to serve everyone that arrived after me. Shame that such incompetent and dishonest people can tarnish a big name like Haldirams. I wouldn't employ such people to clean tables. Don't think I will be visiting again.

The store is quite messy, they are not prepared well enough to handle crowds. Long queues and long waiting times. Although they have options for order from the table and you will be served at your table but their application is not so much helpful honestly. Rather you would like to go to the counter and order there. But then, you have to do self service. So, i would not recommend it if someone is going with family. You go to such places and spend x3 prices than usual, that's to have quality services and time. Instead you will be standing at the counter to get your order and get exhausted by the time you get it. Average waiting is 30 mins, may vary on order.

  • 1/5 Sid R. 6 months ago on Google
Guys on the billing counter keep talking amongst themselves and do not pay attention to what the customer is saying or ordering. I ordered something and they put something else on the receipt...I had to reach out to the floor manager to get the same corrected as the person on the counter was arrogant and preferred shouting over professional conversation. I took me 55 mins to get my order served and that too in two batches...20 mins apart. The air conditioning on second floor was barely working. The service is inconsistent and do not at all expect any hospitality what so ever. Even langars serve the devotees with far more respect and here we are being mistreated as customers.

Food - below average (quite literally). Quantity is a joke. Prices - exorbitantly high. Literally very high ! Washroom - on 2nd floor ? My heart goes out to elderly. I heard a few complaining as well. It is just slightly better than a stinky public urinal. This shop is earning like crazy and they can’t put such a menial ask in return ? Atmosphere- people are crowding over each other. Not surprised though.
