Early morning it's a playground... Gandhiji left no place for outdoor games in Delhi... That's why he allowed everyone to play cricket in his park. Young boys come to play cricket on their bikes.

Really peaceful and beautifully kept gardens which are still very simple, in the heart of Delhi. A fitting monument to GandhiI loved visiting Gandhi Smriti, I found it was very peaceful and so interesting, they have Ghandi' watch that stopped when he died on the wall as well as his bed etc. There is so much information about his life and lovely gardens.

Biggest pro. Gandhi statue. Con. Unsavory characters who are there , with nowhere else to go. But the boys playing cricket add to the charm.

This park was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr Rajendra Prasad the First President of the Republic of India, to memorize the Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi. But these days due to lack of maintainance this park is loosing it's beauty. People play cricket here and it has became the home of homeless poor people. Due to poverty and dirtness park has lost the beauty. Delhi Municipal Corporation must focus on this issue.

Mahatma Gandhi Park (also known as MG park) is a public park situated near Kollam Beach in the city of Kollam, Kerala, India. It is about 2 km away from Chinnakada - The city centre of 'Cashew Capital of the World'. It is one of the main centres of recreational activities in Kollam city.[1] The park is owned by Kollam Municipal Corporation and is operated by Rural Tourism Development Company (RUTODEC), a private firm, on contract for a period of five years for maintenance.[2] 'The Quilon Beach' five star hotel(Formerly known as Beach Orchid) is located near to this park.[3] Mahatma Gandhi Park, KollamMG Park, Kollam

Mahatma Gandhi Park locally called "the company park" is situated near Chandni Chowk Metro Station. It is not currently maintained as it was before but one may enjoy quality time with mature friends. It reminds me of English Park of Kathmandu, Nepal.

Mahatma Gandhi Park is one of them, is a simple and small park originally called 'Queen's Park' by the Britishers. Park is located on the Church Mission Road, near the Old Delhi Railway Station. It also serves as the venue for various cultural, religious, musical and other types of programs. Parks and gardens of Delhi act as a breather for the Delhiites, where they can spend some time peacefully, organize a picnic, take walks and jogs and do a lot of other activities. One of the best ways to take a break from the hectic and stressful life of the city life is to take a leisurely walk around the gardens. Park got its name after the independence from the legendary Father of the Nation- Mahatma Gandhi. The Mahatma Gandhi Park has a bronze colored statue of Mahatma Gandhi and many towering trees around it give it a very protective look. Apart from this park is well known for the outdoor club for Delhi's high-class society who lived in this part of the city. The park was very well maintained and had a good cricket ground.
