It's hard to find such a quaint and tranquil stay in Manali - which I must say is an overcrowded concrete miracle now. This last stop in old Manali is the perfect spot to spend some peaceful time in nature away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. I stayed in one of the wooden chalets, what a wonderfully built small and cozy cabin, it's just as good as any room in a hotel you can find. The hosts are so kind and the food they serve is pretty good compared to most places in Manali. Clean and well maintained, the wildlife sanctuary is also nearby and much more to explore. Nature lovers, this is one place you don't wanna miss when you visit Old Manali.

I can't believe that this was the same place we went a year ago. Abhishek and his partner have revamped the whole place which turned out so beautiful. You can see the detailing and the effort they have put together to make it so warm. To everyone out there if you ever go to old Manali choose this place and have an amazing stay!! Do hear out their story too, it will mark a special place in your heart. The hosts are as welcoming as the place is. The cafe, the dorms, the tents..and the river view!! Thank you last stop cafe for creating such a different divine space in old manali. And as it goes that its all about the experience throughout the journey ❤️

The location is at the end of old Manali 15 mins walk from Manu parking. But the location is amazing! It's worth every penny! The hosts are very welcoming and took care of everything, including food, stay and everything which was needed! If you want to stay away from the crowd and in peace, this is the place to look for!

Riverside cafe with cozy cottages, peaceful surroundings, Good hosts and Good vibes will make you feel like home. It is in the off beat location of old manali, once you reach this place you will be highly convinced by the nature, fresh air, sound of river and this colourful property. The hosts are very much welcoming and they have maintained it for Friends and Family both, they provide you the sense of belonging as well as sense of security. Once I reach there I dint feel like I need to go elsewhere. If you are planning to go to this place then I highly recommend you to book it for atleast 2 nights because the entire setup will hold you and convince you to stay long, as I saw many of the visitors who came for one night was asking for extension which is quite difficult because its a small property and that is the USP. And cherry on the top is food which is really amazing and for your information this property mostly serves vegetarian food.

Rooms - 2 cottages, 1 dorm and rest are tents. Only cottages are worth staying the night. Expect pests and insects crawling all over your room (even bed). Dorm is extremely claustrophobic, and we encountered 1 scorpion, 2 slugs and 1 big spider around our bed during our 2 nights stay. Ask the caretaker to spray insecticide positively. The access to this place is a long 10 mins walk from the last auto/taci point. So be advised to carry your belongings in a backpack instead of suitcases. The food and view are great, I still think this is the best place to stay amidst all the noise in old manali. You'll have your peace as well as a touch of an old village here. PS, there are 2 jungle/natural reserve trails that start from this place. Make sure you keep a day or two to explore further.

Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Last Stop in Manali, and I must say it was a truly wonderful experience. This property is nestled in an awesome location, right on the river, making it the last stop before the national park. The serene ambiance of the place makes it a perfect retreat for nature lovers seeking tranquility away from the crowds. One of the highlights of The Last Stop is its secluded location. Accessible through an alternative track that takes only 20 minutes to reach, this place offers a sense of exclusivity and a chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life. The absence of roads adds to the charm, making it an ideal destination for those who prefer a less crowded environment. The owners of The Last Stop are incredibly warm and hospitable, making you feel right at home. Their personalized attention and care truly make a difference in the overall experience. They are passionate about their property and go the extra mile to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. It feels like being a guest in their own home, where every need is taken care of. The food at The Last Stop is absolutely delicious. The owner personally oversees the preparation of the meals, ensuring that every dish is made to perfection. During my stay, I ordered the khichdi, and it was served with a generous dollop of ghee. The attention to detail and the flavors in each dish were remarkable. It's evident that they take pride in providing a memorable culinary experience for their guests. The newly constructed rooms at The Last Stop are well-appointed and equipped with all the necessary facilities. What sets them apart is their unique feature of a transparent portion, allowing guests to admire the sky and enjoy natural light while relaxing or sleeping. This thoughtful design element adds a touch of magic to the stay, connecting guests with the beautiful surroundings. While The Last Stop may not offer the luxurious amenities of a 5-star hotel, it is perfect for those who value nature and seek a genuine connection with their environment. If you are a nature lover and appreciate a tranquil setting, this property is a hidden gem. It provides a chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of Manali and experience a slower pace of life. One thing to note is that reaching the road requires a 20-minute trek, which may not be ideal for everyone. However, for those who enjoy hiking and appreciate the journey as much as the destination, this adds an element of adventure and further enhances the overall experience. In conclusion, The Last Stop in Manali is a sanctuary for nature enthusiasts who seek solace in the lap of nature. With its stunning location, warm hospitality, delectable food, and unique room design, this property offers an unforgettable getaway. If you are willing to trade the luxuries of a high-end hotel for an intimate connection with nature, I highly recommend The Last Stop for your next visit to Manali.

Staying at the last stop cafe was really fun. Abhishek and Rosa were great hosts and it felt like a family. We had a lot of fun together, hiked to nearby spots as well. Cottages are clean and well maintained. Food is homely and the location is superb as it is almost in the jungle with riverside views. If you want a quite and offbeat stay, the last stop cafe is your best stop. Peace.✌️
