😐 It's great fun, however it's quite costly. Almost $7 admission, and if that was all, it would be fine. There's an additional cost of $20 per person (we did not know this in advance) to register. Registration is required for "insurance purposes". And when we arrived from half an hour away, we disco... People often mention water,

We had a good experience. The cancellation policy is excellent (though we didn't use it). Because of low water levels, the river wasn't busy but we each got stuck several times. Getting back into the Turbo Tubes can be tricky for a beginner, especially without help. Getting stuck had advantages. We got to see more wildlife (Canada Geese, several heron, a small deer running through the water). Towards the end, the water gets deeper but moves slooowly. That meant much more rowing than we wanted. Rowing a Turbo Tube isn't as efficient as with canoe or kayak. Overall, the river was much too lazy. For our purposes, that was fine.

Registration is required for "insurance purposes". And when we arrived from half an hour away, we discovered they don't rent helmets, unless we rent tubes. Because we brought our own tubes, we had to leave to Canadian Tire and buy bicycle helmets (virtually the same price as tube rental). Expensive. In my opinion, too expensive.

Love this experience! Fun for the whole family....except maybe your pets. Be prepared to get wet and get lots of sun. Also be sure to pack lots of snacks and food as it ends up being a long day. If you have younger kids it works too. The river flows fast enough you can just attach your critter to your tube and off you go.

Great staff, nice experience. But it is hard for new paddlers and for kids. The path is difficult at the end when water gets really deep. Bring a bottle to move water from the tube.

My twelve year old daughter and I did this at the end of July and I can highly recommend it as a fun outdoor activity for families - even those with smaller kids. The journey is both fun and scenic and you have the option to actively paddle or just let the current take you most of the way (or a combination of both). The current is fairly gentle so no worries about shooting rapids or anything but you will likely have to get out at one or two shallow points to pull your tube for a short distance. Check the weather ahead of time and plan accordingly and make sure whatever you are wearing (including footwear) can get wet or is secured in a dry bag or a ziplock bag.

I had an amazing time tubing on the Grand River. The service provided by staff was efficient and friendly. They were thorough when giving directions and showing us how to use the equipment. Be prepared for 2.5-3hr floating and paddling on the water;bring sunscreen, snacks and lots of water. It’s a great workout and lots of fun.

Very good customer service and a great time with friends. Very helpful in getting things set up and ready to go. Only down side was that the river flow was a bit slow on the day we went
